Umo walked alone in his new pridelands. His crimson eyes examined all around him, interested and peaked by all this new land. He padded quietly, listening to all around him. Maybe he'd like it here more than he thought. So many things had happened to him lately he wasn't sure what he liked now. With a sigh, he padded over to a comfortable looking spot and sat, his brown mane flowing gently. A new pride and a start at a new life. Images of his old pride did not haunt him any more but... sometimes just the eery feeilng of those times lingered above him. A pride and a new life. Anything to start anew again.
Umo was happy he was here...

The winds pushed across the lands as the seasons slowly changed, and Tisha could only let it all be taken in at her new lands. For now she was sure these woods were the ones her pridelands had started on, and that fact alone made the peaceful lands a relaxing place for her to journey in. Taking a moment to pause, her bi-colored eyes landed on the form of another, a lion she had never caught sight of before.
"Who are you?" She asked as she finally made way to Umo, her eyes studying his form as her muscles grew tense. It wouldn't be safe had a random lion found his way through the paths, for it meant their protection had grown thin.
"And what are you doing in these lands?" Sure it may have seemed harsh, but she had a family to think of, on top of the new cubs her queen had just birthed.

Umo was taken back by this stranger but did not realize that, hey... he's in a new pride=new pride members. Stepping backwards a few steps, his crimson eyes blinking nervously. He cleared his throat for a moment before he spoke his first words to this female. "I am Umo... Do not fret... I belong here. I am a member. I just have not wandered into the lands yet." He said monotonly, having no emotion to his voice. Like always. Gazing at her nervously. He felt very unnerved by this... awkwardness.

She narrowed her eyes once more before lifting her head and turning away, "If you lie than you will regret it, this is not the time for strangers to 'explore'." Looking over her shoulder at that, she made way through the grasses as her claws scratched the slightly moist grounds, there was a watering hole near by.
After pausing a moment, she turned to look over her shoulder once more before speaking up lightly, "I am Tisha, huntress of these lands." With that, she was moving on once more through the tall grasses, her pace slow and relaxed.

Umo frowned nervously. "I do not lie. I am of this pride. Ask the leader if you may. He accepted me and my son." He said flatly, looking around a bit more relaxed. At least she wasn't going to mutilate him. Stepping lightly behind her, intrest peaked by knowing she was also a member. HIs crimson eyes wandered around the area, taking in the sights. "Pleasure to meet you Tisha. I am a hunter. I think. I have yet to prove my status in these lands. I had an interuption before I could come here." He said, looking down quickly at her front left leg that still had a swollen lump where the snake had bitten him. He recalled the drooling and shaking spell that left him under a fallen log for a long time.
"I have to admire I am nerved upon meeting my pride mates. Never been in a real pride before." He said monotonly.

((I am sorry to say that I am going to be off of gaia for a few days. There has been a lot and it is really pushing aganst my motivation and my inspiration for RP, so I will take these days to 're-boot' so-to-speak. I apoligize ahead of time for any inconvience, and I look to jump back into this RP as soon as I get back into my 'groove'.

At his last comment, the light lioness paused in her steps and turned her bi-colored eyes back upon his form. It seemed weird to have him say that, and before she could catch herself, she spoke up her quick responce.
"Have you ever been in a family before, for it is the same thing." Biting her tongue soon after, she felt her ears fall at her short tone, and quickly added with a soothing note, "There is not much of a difference between the two, for your pride is your family." And that was the truth, at least in her mind.
Each new cub born in the pride felt like a daughter, son, or even a neice or nephew. The leaders felt like parents, aunts and uncles, everyone felt like they were a part of her family. She trusted them, and hopefully they trusted her, at least they should if they alowed her in the pride. It was like one big family, for everything they did was for eachother. A smile crossing her maw, she turned a bit to the side and lifted her head, sniffing at the air as her eyes closed slowly. Was that the scent of a preybeast?

Umo felt his muscles tighten. "I was in a pride once but there was no family bonding." He said simply, stepping lightly behind her. His crimson eyes danced around quietly. He was taking in all the sights and sounds of this place. "I.... I never really have had a pride I could be proud of. Ever." He said with a slight sharpness to his voice, which was odd considering he was monotone.
