It had been a while since Mitsu had explored town on her own. Mostly because exploring on her own also meant being lost for hours on end. She knew where a few small stores were and the maul, hopefully they would prove as good land marks when she became hopelessly lost.

Grabbing what money she had Mitsu started her way out the door. With any luck she wouldn't have to suddenly learn how to survive on the street. "I'll be back Milo....by...tonight...hopefully." Mitsu's voice got quieter and quieter until the end when she finally trailed off and walked out the door.

She was a little nervous but it was good to know about the area you were living in. It was what was pushing her out the doors of the dorm and toward town anyway. That and she was curious what else she might find in town. A few of her random trips had turned up interesting little shops.

Junko was out of money, she'd spent every last seed she had on fabrics for what she was making for her friends. She had the silks from Riley, Lizzy and the anonymous benefactor but she was being selfish and saving those for herself. She would spend the money for her friends. But she wasn't going to tell anyone, not a single soul, that she didn't have even one seed to her name at the moment. She would eventually get her allowance, as small as it was, and would begin saving all over again. Eventually. Or she could get a job, but when did she have time for a job? Sigh.

Today Junko had decided to go for a walk. Walks were free. Walks were nice. They were very good exercise! And things could happen on walks. And...and that jewelry in that window was very pretty. Junko was staring at a pair of jeweled earrings when she caught a reflection wandering behind her. A vaguely familiar reflection, even! She looked up and around to see who it was, spotting the fluffy white tail and the long, long white hair.

...Wait..wasn't that..? "Mitsu?" She blinked. Then she gasped and smiled. "Mitsu! Hi~!" Notice her! Notice her! Notice herrrrrrr!

Mitsu's ears perked having heard her name. She paused in her walk to shift her head for a moment but with the poor peripheral vision her mask provided she didn't see Junko right away. It wasn't until the lycan fully turned that she saw the ghoul standing by the window of what looked like a jewelry store.

"J.Junko?" Mitsu asked. She remembered her from the festival. Mitsu had spent quite a bit of time at her booth trying interestingly filled treats and having her hair done.

The ghoul's tone was light and happy though and because of that Mitsu's tail began to wag a bit as she approached. Always affected by the people around her. "H-how are you?"

Junko's hair was lifted with excitement as Mitsu turned around to see her, giving her an excited wave and bouncing on her toes. She was so happy to see someone she knew! Especially someone nice and with such pretty long hair and the cutest ears! Okay, maybe she was a little too excited...but wandering around windowshopping by herself was booooooring! A bit of movement behind her caught her eye and Junko looked past Mitsu to see what it was. Her...tail! It was wagging! She was happy to see her too?! Eeeeeeeeee! So cuuuuuuute!

"I'm doing very well! Just out for a bit of a walk," Because walks are free. But Junko wouldn't mention that. "But it's really nice to see you! How're you doing?" She hadn't seen her since the Floresctival so she was very curious to see how she was doing since then. It'd been weeks!

Mitsu could almost feel the energy coming off of Junko. That happy light tone in her voice, the slight bouncing on her toes, and that happy expression on her face. It made Mitsu want to OwO behind her mask. In fact, her tail began to wag a little faster.

"I'm doing...okay." Mitsu nodded. There had been some bumps since the festival, some mistakes on her part, but she was dealing with it. Maybe not well but she was dealing with it. Though at the moment the excited energy running through her was making it easy to forget. "I'm just out for a walk too. To kind of explore. I don't know where a lot of things are still....though I tend to get..." What was a nice way to put lost? "off course a little?" Close enough.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 23, 2011 10:30 am

Okay? Just okay? She wasn't good, or bad, or super good or super bad? Just....okay? Oh dear. Was this bad? She hoped it wasn't bad. But considering her tail was wagging and she was cheerful? It must be good. "Ah, you too? Mind if I join you?" If Mitsu got off course then Junko would be happy to help. She wasn't quite sure why she felt so full of energy today. Perhaps it was the happiness of seeing someone she liked after not seeing them for a long period of time? Or maybe it was because she was going to make herself sad if she kept windowshopping.

Her birthday was coming up in a little over a month's time...maybe...?

"If we get lost we'll just make an adventure of it!" Genius. It wasn't getting lost if you claimed you did it on purpose!

"I don't mind." Mitsu had no real direction in mind but she turned toward the path she had been taking and set off. "An adventure?" Now that sounded much more fun than simply getting lost. "I like the sound of that."

As she walked she turned toward Junko so they could continue their conversation. "Do you know your way around pretty well?" Junko had been here before her obviously so many she knew her way around the town a little better.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 27, 2011 10:27 pm

"Yay! Adventure~! See, it's not getting lost if you tell yourself you did it on purpose." Junko pointed out with a wink, walking with Mitsu in whatever direction the ghoul had decided for them. This would be fun! She'd been here enough times to know her way around well enough, but it had been an entire break since she'd been here! All those weeks...surely she would forget something, right? She'd just let Mitsu lead the way! There. It was settled.

Junko hummed cheerfully as they walked, giving a little shrug at her question. "Relatively well, I think? I've been here enough. So if we get terribly lost to where it isn't fun anymore I'll find a way out for us! Okay?" She'd try not to let Mitsu down. "So how've you been? I haven't seen you since the Floresctival!"

That certainly took the stress out of the situation. It was an adventure, they were getting lost on purpose.....that also sounded horrible. They were getting lost on purpose. Why would they do that? At least from the sound of it Junko had a good look out of the area. If 'they', mostly meaning Mitsu, got lost she could lead them to another more familiar area.

"I've been doing okay." Mitsu nodded. "There's been a lot going on it seems but I'm adjusting. The festival was fun though, it was a shame the booths got destroyed." Mitsu hadn't even made it to any of the other campaign booths outside of Riley's....so she really didn't have too much in mind for who was running. "How is your campaign going?"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 07, 2011 12:34 pm

Clearly Mitsu needed to dust off her adventure bone if she didn't think getting lost on purpose was tons of fun. It wasn't as if Junko would let them get lost lost. She knew the area...relatively well. Well enough that she could get them back to civilization and all that, you know? Heh. Okay. So she wasn't all that confident but she wouldn't let Mitsu know that! This was going to be fun! A bonding experience. She needed to get out more anyway so this was a great way to shove herself out of her comfort zone.

"Junko, you really are an idiot sometimes." She grumbled from underneath Junko's bun, wishing She had eyes to roll. Junko paid her no mind; this was just more practice on how to keep the loud mouth from getting a rise out of her. Haha! Get it? Loudmouth? Because she was a loud mouth? Junko grinned at her own mental joke, listening to Mitsu's answer the entire time.

"That's good! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've never been to a festival before so it was a lot of fun to see what one was like, even if I didn't really win anything from any of the booths." Junko pouted. She tried so hard, too. At least she was okay at blackjack. None of the games had been a roulette wheel...so...sigh.

Wait, was she really thinking about that kind of thing now?! Maybe Riley and Nuk were right. Maybe Junko did need an intervention...

"The booths were destroyed but at least no one got hurt, right? That's the important thing." At least as far as Junko knew no one got hurt. Oh, but maybe the minipets that had been at those booths as prizes had gotten hurt. Oh dear! She hadn't thought of that! Those poor things! But when asked how her campaign was going Junko hummed and tilted her head to one side. "It's going okay. I salvaged as much as I could from my booth. When it comes time to make another one or something I'm going to have as much ready as I can. I'm excited for it but I'm also really nervous, you know? I've never done anything like this..heck! Ask me to run for student council last year and I never would have accepted!" She sighed a bit and shook her head though she was smiling. Junko clasped her hands behind her back and hummed as they walked, looking around to see where they were so she'd be able to get them back to this point from wherever Mitsu ended up leading them. This was going to be interesting.

Random, that was the only way to describe the course Mitsu was on. There was no particular goal she supposed other than to stop by the Mini Pet Store at some point to get FEAR candy for Milo. So due to that her turns just happened, left, right, left, and then another right. No wonder the lycan got lost.

The ears on the top of Mitsu's head gave a twitch hearing the faintest of voices. It was like a whisper from somewhere close. Turning her head from side to side she tried to determine where it had come from but Mitsu didn't see anyone. She was very unaware of the mouth hiding under the bun on the back of Junko's head.

"I hadn't been to a festival like that before. It was neat." Mitsu mused remembering the games and the Haunted House. "I hope no one was hurt," Mitsu said. She wasn't one hundred percent sure but everyone seemed to come out of the event okay. It was just sad that everything had been destroyed so early on.

"It's good to hear that you were able to salvage a lot from your booth. It seemed like you had put a lot of work into it." Hearing that if she had been asked to run the year before she wouldn't have Mitsu smiled a bit behind her mask. "You must have come a long way to be able to run now if you wouldn't before." Mitsu knew for sure she couldn't bring herself to run for a position. Perhaps with time that would change as well.

Pausing for a moment Mitsu had a look around. She was...thoroughly lost now. The shops in their general surroundings didn't look at all familiar but, "Oh hey, there's an eye scream place. Do you want an eye scream?"

((I didn't know if Mistress spoke out loud or not. If its more of an internal conversation I can easily delete that part of my post no biggie :3 ))

Junko saw the ear twitches and the way Mitsu looked around as if searching for something and she blushed, glancing back toward Her a moment before just settling on ignoring Her completely. If it happened again and Mitsu did more than just look around then she would explain, but Junko didn't want to ruin the fun of just hanging out with Mitsu. She wanted to pretend a little longer she didn't have an annoying mouth in the back of her head. Ugh. But as long as Mitsu wasn't bothered by Her right now it was okay...

At Mitsu's observation that Junko had come a long way she smiled, nodding a bit and playing with some of her hair. Had she? She liked to think so. She was a lot less anxious than she had been before, and she wasn't completely paranoid of people staring at her because she was a freak with a mouth in the back of her head or that they were friends with her out of pity anymore. Looking back she couldn't help but chuckle at her own ridiculousness. "It took awhile, but yes. My friends helped me! I used to be really shy, and paranoid. And I would get anxious over everything, you know? This person is only my friend because they feel bad for me. This person is only my friend because they can get me to do things for them because I want them to like me. I don't know anyone, I am not welcome here." Junko shrugged. "Things like that. I come from a...um..." How to put it. She couldn't just say a terrible home, because it could be worse! But...it wasn't that great of a home physically speaking and referring to her own family. She loved them but...she hated them. "Sheltered home life, I guess you could say. Coming to this school has been great for me!" Suddenly Junko blushed and tugged at her own hair. Oh, crap. She'd just rambled on and on, hadn't she? She didn't mean to do that. "Sorry about that. I don't know where that came from..huh?" She looked up at the eyescream store that Mitsu was pointing out nearby, grinning and nodding.

"That'd be great!" Junko reached into her sleeve to check her small coin purse, opening it and...stopping right there.

Oh.

...It was empty.

It's okay Junko. Just play it cool. Don't let on that you're broke right now. If Mitsu wanted eyescream she could get eyescream, Junko would just have to give an excuse why she wasn't getting any. "I came here with Tomoko once. The eyescream here is really good." Junko snapped the small purse closed and put it away before Mitsu had a chance to realize there was any kind of problem. Problem? What? No way! Everything was fiiiiine just fiiiiiine.

Shy and paranoid. Mitsu knew those two emotions well. They were familiar haunting friends. It was nice to know Junko's friends had helped her though. Maybe in time Mitsu would get over her shyness as well.

Heading toward the door of the eye scream parlor Mitsu looked back to continue their conversation. "I didn't get out much before either. Coming to this school I have already learned quite a few things." And there was tale of a field trip in the future. Mitsu was ....well mostly concerned about it. While she was certain she would learn a lot she wasn't entirely sure she wouldn't be traumatized. Hopefully Shun would be there to help her. She felt bad for leaning on him so much but he really did make her feel safe.

Inside Mitsu immediately went to the eye scream counter and peered in through the display glass trying to decide what she wanted. "If you want something I'll buy." Since it had been Mitsu's idea in the first place. "Or we can share something. I usually don't eat a lot on my own." Not anymore anyway. Since school she had to budget what money she had and it usually meant skipping meals but splurging on a treat with a new friend sounded right up her alley. "Tomoko was the kitsune at your booth right?" Mitsu seemed to remember the name and the little ghoul with her ball of stars. She had gotten a glitter filled taiyaki. Very bad luck.

At Mitsu's admission that she didn't get out much before coming to the school either Junko's hair lifted with curiosity. Why was that? Did she just not to our very often? Was she not allowed out? Was it by choice? She wanted to know but she didn't have the heart to pry; it wasn't Jumko's business why Mitsu has been sheltered prior to her enrollment. It was something Junko could relate to, honestly. Mitsu...kind of reminded her of how she had been when she had first come to the school. How He had been when she didn't know anyone or anything...it wasn't a pleasant feeling to have day after day after day. Junko suddenly looked thoughtful. What if she could help Mitsu break out of her shell? It would certainly be a process. They would have To go about this delicately.

"What?" Junko was pulled from her thoughts by Mitsu's offer to pay for her eyescream. A very tempting offer but one Junko had to decline; she couldn't make someone else pay for her things! She felt bad enough when Seiji did it and he was her boilfriend! It was like his job or something to buy her stuff wasn't it? "Wow! Um...thank you, Mitsu. But I couldn't make you do that...sharing would be fine though! Is there a flavor you like or dislike? No chocolate, right?" personally Junko's favorite kind of eyescream was candy corn but she would let Mitsu decide. This was Mitsu's adventure!

At the inquiry about Tomoko Junko grinned with pride and nodded. "Uh huh! She's like a little sister to me, and she is SO sweet. I adore her. She let me stay with her and her family during the break and that's why I look, well..a little different than I did before." Junko chuckled, referring to her eyes, nails and the growth spurt her hair had gone through in such a short time. She wasn't complaining in fact she quite liked it! She smiled, folding her arms behind her back. "Did you and Shun enjoy the break as well?"

Mitsu nodded sheepishly. "Y..yeah no chocolate." Seemed her mishap at the festival hadn't gone unnoticed.

Looking back at the case Mitsu tried to decide on a flavor to choose for them to share. Would something simple be better or would Junko like something with a lot of things mixed in? "What about Monster Mash?" Mitsu always liked it. There was a random assortment of cookie pieces, marshmallow, and peanut butter.

There was a bit of a smile behind Mitsu's mask hearing about Tomoko. She did seem really nice though Mitsu hadn't had a chance to really speak with her. That smile faded though and Mitsu grew exceptionally quite when asked about break. She had gone home from break, or to that place she was forced to call home. After the experience she had come back to school ill. Shun had taken care of her during that time but she had felt like such a burden on him.

"I had to go home for a little bit for break but I mostly stayed here." Her voice had grown quiet as well, though she tried to hide the sad tone.
