Savvy My Avi
The Rules

-This is not a tektek contest; you have to make an avatar from what you have in your inventory.

-Entry fee is FREE!! Just PM your entry.

-One entry per person.

-Submissions will be put up for public voting, the winner of the vote will be awarded 10,000 gold.

-Submissions can be made via screen capture of your avatar in the dress up screen with the background off (see example below in the theme post) then PM the photobucket (or similar photo sharing site) link to me. If you would like more direction on how to take a screen capture feel free to PM me.

-Submissions are to be sent by the 15th. Voting will open on the 16th. (Since Feb. is a short month I will try to get it together on the 14.)

-Feel free to pick up items or ideas from the Outfit Marketplace, just make sure that you change it up a bit to make it more you. We are looking for awesome submissions but I want to see your work, not plagiarism.

-This is a PG13 site, and all submissions should be in line with Gaias TOS.

This month I the theme for your avis is time! You can take that to mean anything you want it to. smile If you have any questions if what you were thinking will work just PM me, if not have your submissions PMd to me by the 15th.

Thanks for the compliments on my Sample Avi! smile It took me a few hours to figure out what I wanted to do, I even tore through my DVD collection for inspiration. I wanted something simple and easily recognizable, but still cool. Nothings cooler then the T-Brids right?

i'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with; it'll be tough to use only our inventories. i might have to go shopping if i get a good idea.

oh, and what about including a picture of the actual character, for comparison?

@Sammirah- I considered adding reference pictures to the posts, but I don't want the submissions area to be cluttered too much. Since I can't post pictures for voting options I am going to number them in the submissoins area and don't want people to be confused with all the numbers and pictures floating around. That's why I asked for a description, so people can do a quick search... maybe I'll link to pictures... I'll get back to you on that. smile (Sorry for rambling. sweatdrop )

ALSO! There has been a slight modification to the rules. Feel free to use photobucket to submit your ideas. smile

Since I can't post pictures for voting options I am going to number them in the submissoins area and don't want people to be confused with all the numbers and pictures floating around. I like the idea of posting a link to a reference pic...it is indeed a lot easier to post. I've had problems with posting some pics in the past where sometimes the site where the pic is from takes it down or relocates it.

Just so you guys know, there has been a family emergency and I am leaving tonight to Tennessee and I won't be back to a computer until Thursday. You can feel free to send me your submissions and trade requests until then. Also there has been another change to the rules under the entry fee part.
