Well, here's a thread to discuss my favorite intern, George O'Malley. He doesn't do what he is told, but what he thinks is right. He is a loyal friend and a brave doctor. He no longer accepts being pushed around by his peers.
Here's a few of my favorite quotes from him:
George: 007. They're calling me 007, aren't they?
Izzie & Meredith: No-one's calling you 007.
George: I was on the elevator and Murphy whispered 007.
Christina: Okay, how many times are we going to go through this, George? Five, ten? Give me a number or else I'm gonna hit you.
George: Murphy whispered 007 and everyone laughed.
Izzie: He wasn't talking about you.
George: Are you sure?
Meredith: Would we lie to you?
George: Yes!
George: You don't get to choose. I know you've been going through a bad time. I know you miss Shepard. And I know that your life has, admittedly, been pretty unpleasant these days. You get points for breathing in and out. You get to be a little selfish. But you don't get to choose a dog over me... I'm George. I sleep down the hall from you. I buy your tampons. I have held your hand, every time you asked. I've earned the right to be seen. To be respected. To not have you think of me, as less than a dog that you got at the pound. So, I'm not moving out. Whether you like it or not, I'm staying.
I think George would be a Hufflepuff... (brave, loyal and just!)

I adore George. He is so cute and funny. If he was real, I would so marry him. He's the best character on the show. Although I like like Cristina too.

I love George. He's so sweet, adorable, and funny.
I also don't get his Meredith obssession. She's a horrible friend to him, so from his perspective, what does he see in her? He deserves so much better. I would kind of like him with Hannah, they were cute in their scene and I really liked Hannah. But Christina Ricci might be hard to get back. Maybe George is meant to forever suffer while Meredith and Derek ride out into the sunset and the horse kicks dirt into George's eyes.

I think that he's gonna be at the end of his rope with Mere in the next episode. In the previews, he was yelling at her in the hallways.

He deserves someone better. Someone with a heart .
Derek could've blown up when they introduced the bomb, but NO. He had to LIVE. evil That would SO solve George's love problem with Meredith.

George is love. heart He would be the perfect boyfriend!
Regarding Meredith... She picked the dog over him! And totally ignored him! (I'm not all that big on the Meredith loving these days... xd ) She doesn't deserve to have such a nice friend!
Regarding G/M... The writers blog on the ABC site put things into perspective for me. xd Although I don't think they'd last that long, George seemed happy, for the briefest moment. xp

George really is a wonderful friend and she doesn't notice him at all. He listens to all her pity parties and what does she give back? I agree the blog made it seem better so I'm not as mad, but I still can't get over the fact that George is going to get his heart broken and Meredith will go right back to making sad googly eyes at Derek.

George really is a sweetheart and, I think, the best doctor of the five. My roommate and I were really happy for him at the end of last weeks episodes. And then at the end of this one. I felt really bad for George, he worked up the courage to reach for the one thing he thought he wanted and got stepped on.
But, as he was saying, you can't escape your karma...

Last time george did something like that he got syph, so can you really see this one working out? He just has bad choices. Then again you never know, personally I think they seem nice together...
