A large, regal music hall. There are many operas and symphonies held here. Along with the occasional acrobat show.

Corazon strode into the empty concert hall. She looked around, hoping to be playing for an audience. Of course, there was no one. Cora kept walking, muttering to herself crossly. "No one appreciates the arts." Her mind blinked to a room full of grade-school age children, their eyes wide and eager for the music to begin. She shrugged, and continued onto the stage. Corazon focused on her case, carefully unbuckling and unzipping to reveal her trumpet.

Cerra left the Drinking Valkyrie and continued to walk down the street. It ended in what looked like a concert hall, and it seemed to be vacant. She went inside to take a look around, curious to see what kinds of goings-on went on inside of it. Cerra had never been in a concert hall before.

Cora lifted the cover to her case. Her silver trumpet gleamed, even in the little light that there was. She took it out. Corazon put the mouthpiece to her lips and buzzed gently. Ugh. Her tone seemed a little off. As she played scale after scale, she became bored. her gaze flitted to a folder of music, she picked it up and leafed through the pages; Hm. the girl settled on a piece called "The Frozen Queen" It was sharp, but lilting, and slightly mournful. Corazon Trapani began to play.

As Cerra walked through the main hallway within the concert hall, she heard music coming from a set of closed doors. She quietly entered the room to find a girl playing a trumpet alone on the stage; nobody was in the audience. She closed her eyes as she was listening to the beautiful, but slightly mournful, piece of music. It reminded her of her home village back in the countryside. She took a seat in the back row of the audience and waited for the girl to finish her piece. When it was over, Cerra stood up from her seat and walked to the door- not even noticing that she had left it open when she came in.

The piece had gone well enough. She held out the last note, but stopped abruptly, the note sputtered. She turned and noticed a girl leaving, "Hey! Wait!' Cora called out, she was very happy that someone had heard the song.

Cerra winced as she heard the girl aknowledge her; but she stopped and turned around on her heel. "That was a beautiful piece," she complimented her, "what was it called?"

Corazon grinned when she heard the girl compliment her playing, "It's called 'The Frozen Queen' I wrote it myself. I don't recognize you, mind sharing your name?" It was somewhat hard to hear the girl from the other side of the concert hall, but she didn't mind. At least someone was talking to her.

"Oh, I'm not from the big city. My name's Cerra." She walked down the aisle towards the stage, it was hard to hear the girl talking. "Mind if I ask what your name is?"

"Corazon Trapani. Call me Cora." Cora shook Cerra's hand cheerfully. "I'm the Director of what's left of the music around here. Where are you from?"

Rosa strode into the building, oddly happy to be out of the New Valhalla bar. She had quickly decided that bars weren't her favorite place to be. She sat down on a bench by a window, as far away from the main places of traffic as possible. The occasional man who came by gave her the usual open-mouthed gape, but other than that she was peaceful. Which was why she loved music halls: she could be calm. She frowned: But I guess that means that the appreciation of music has gone down, she thought.

"Just a small village called Reubyn," Cerra replied. She thought that Cora might not even have heard of Reubyn, much less knew it was an elven town. She hoped the tops of her ears weren't showing. "Music, huh? I don't really play an instrument." It was true: Cerra spent most of her time training with Kopyitch, she didn't have the time, or the money, to buy an instrument and practice with it. The most musical Cerra was was when she sung softly in her room when she was having an exceptionally good day! "So, what kind performances go on here? Just symphonies?"

Corazon smiled and shook her head, "Actually, the city is supposed to have a symphony and I'm supposed to be the director. But no one is really interested. But other performances? Yes, there are plenty. Tonight there is supposed to be an Ice Acrobat show. I'm quite excited for that one." Cora absent-mindedly fingered the valves on her trumpet. "Would you like to learn to play something?" Cora's attention was then directed to a beautiful young woman sitting near a window, "Hello there, may I help you?"

Rosa was surprised by the unexpected sound, "Ah, uh, yes," she said, turning the focus of her attention to the speaker, "Are there any classical music performances scheduled this week? I am quite the, ah, 'fan'. I also may be interested in work here," she said, getting up and flattening the folds in her dress.

When the girl stated she would be looking for a job, it reminded Cerra of in the Drinking Valkyrie she had counted her money. She didn't have much left, maybe she could work as a stage hand or something. "That was the reason I came, too. I just got sidetracked by your beautiful music. You wouldn't happen to need a few stage hands, would you?"
