Cool!First unofficial thread! What does everyone think of the Transformers comics dreamwave has been publishing? Personally I think they're pretty good. The new G1 ongoing series is great, even though the first story was waaaaay to drawn-out.

Not bad at all . . . but personally I would have liked to have gotten a set of the 'More than meets the eye' series . . . the artwork was excellent and the bios made it for me.

The artwork from Dreamwave makes the comics the Best there is. Did anyone get the summer special because I didn't get it (sold out) apparently they were either going to start a RID series or a beast war series, do you know which one Dreamwave decided on yet? & by the way go to this site if you want to buy the whole collection of Marvel Tf comics on cd. Its cheap ^__^ Heres how the cd looks like www.heroes-legends.com

For those of us who have seen the Summer Special like me there was the RID short which had crappy artwork and was about the same if not worse then the show and I had hopes for that one. The other being BW which was very well done and will probably be the pick out of the two series.

Yeah, given how many TF fans loved Beast Wars and hated RID,I think it's gonna be a clean sweep.

I liked BW a good deal, the chars are a breath of fresh air . . . but I loved BM plotline . . . I relish the idea that the greatest villians do not think they are bad. Megs did not think he was a tyrant or evil, and continually made convincing points that his way just might be the right way and how good could the Maximals be if they flatly refused to see another person's point of view? twisted

My Problem with Armada and Energon is that they feel rushed to me.

Hino Recca My Problem with Armada and Energon is that they feel rushed to me. I think you might be right there Recca. I'd say the writers and artists are regularly told to include particular characters that coincide with appropriate toy releases. For example, the change from Armada to Energon was very obviously rushed. I think if they would just let the writers and artists go, it would be a much better comic.
