Briallan had taken time to raise her foals after everyone had left from the small gathering that had happened for the basket popping as she called it. Rakshi had been helpful but her father hadn't been there for meeting the foals into the world. She wanted him to at least know his grandson at the very least. had her mother told him of her lifemating? But. why wouldn't she have? Shaking her head, she left that morning with Cadhla in tow his short legs taking double the steps just to keep up. He was big for his age and growing fast no doubt something he'd gotten from his father she thought.
Cad had happily tipped his basket over his rump to carry as he followed his mother quietly. it was an outing just for he and his mother, some time away from his sisters he figured. Looking back over his shoulder as they left the cave that served as their home behind, he spoke. "Mother, Why didn't w wake up the others?"
Smiling, she looked back at him. "Because. We're going to see my father today and I thought it'd be nicer not to overwhelm him with three of you just yet." She chuckled softly as she looked ahead at the path.

Kamiki Oracle was grazing just outside his thicket he considered his home. The summer son felt delightful on his back as he flicked his ears, always vigilant. He could hear some hoofbeats in the distance as they approached and he lifted his head, his Cerynei ears swiveling forward as he squinted into the distance, trying to determine friend or foe.

As she walked ahead, she stopped at the edge of the clearing. Seeing her father just outside the thicket, she smiled and reached back nuzzling at Cadhla's mane to get it straightened out. Once satisfied, she started walking once more nickering a small greeting to her father from the trees.
Cadhla stayed back in the treeline as his mother walked ahead. He'd met his grandmother the day he emerged from his basket but he never walked this path.. not yet at least...not till now. Peering from around a tree trunk, he eyed the white stallion ahead before a snapped twig behind him in the distance send him rushing out to file in behind his mother a clear look of alarm on his face.

Kamiki "My little flower!" Oracle exclaimed, coming over to nuzzle her as she approached. He smiled happily, always loving to see his family. He looked over expectantly as the little colt ran out of the treeline. Oracle had been told by Shoshana of course, but he was already brimming with pride, being able to meet his grandchildren for the first time. His dark eyes sparkled as he looked between the colt and his mother. "And who is this?" he asked, beaming.

She smiled brightly and nuzzled him back daintily. "Hello father." She beamed and held back a chuckle at the look of alarm on her son's face. "This happens to be my son Cadhla. The other two, Haven and Meyra stayed with their father today." She grinned wide the pride of a mother showing on her face. "Cad..." She stepped aside so that he was better in view. "This is your grandfather.. My father."
Cad had been peering from behind his mother's leg when he was introduced to what he was now being told was his other grandfather. He had a slight look of wonder on his face as it sunk in just how large his family was already starting to seem. So many had showed up when he and his sisters had arrived from their baskets and now more relatives? As his mother stepped aside, he let out a small yelp of surprise and tried his hardest to turtle under his tipped over basket bottom so as to hide, finding it a bit more difficult to be doing this lately. Seeing that he had failed at hiding, he gave a small nervous chuckle and nodded a greeting. "Hello."

Kamiki Oracle smiled and leaned his head down to Cad's level. "Nice to meet you, Cadhla. My name is Oracle, but you can call me whatever you want. I am your mother's father." He looked over the boy, his chest swelling with pride. "Aren't you a handsome one, my boy. You are going to grow up to be strong, I can tell already." He smiled up to the colts mother before looking back to Cad. "You will have to bring your sisters to see me, soon, yes? Are you behaving well for your mother?"

Briallan smiled seeing her father's acceptance of her son. Beaming down at Cad, she nodded her head to let him know it was fine and not to feel frightened.
Cad blinked then tipped his basket over off his rump and stood in it. "Oracle? I think I prefer Grandpa.. after all that's what you are, are you not?" He stood there eying him with a calculating stare before spotting the blanket. "You tinker too?? How'd you make that?" He seemed interested in the blanket and how it was made.. and with what.

Kamiki "Grandpa sounds perfect to me," he said with a smile, tossing his mane happily over his neck. At the mention of tinkering he followed his eyes over his shoulders to the blanket. "Oh this?" He smiled and pulled it off so Cad could have a closer look. "No, I didn't make it. A nice two-legger did in the village. They give us gifts sometimes. Do you like to make things?"

Briallan chuckled some at her father's question of Cad's interests. "Oh.. he doesn't just like to tinker.. he loves to... some times i think he'd let the whole world fly by without interest due to tinkering."
Cad nodded grinning wide. "Momma's right! I love tinkering.. so many new things to create with old things.. or even just with strange materials I come across.. I carry them in my basket..." He looked down at the slightly worn basket that showed it'd been drug a few times.

Kamiki "I see," he said with a smile, looking down at the basket. "That's very impressive, Cad!" he said with an air of genuine pride. "I'm sure you'll be a master craftsman one day. That takes a lot of talent, you know. Must have gotten it from your mother," he grinned.

She shuffled her hooves a bit embarrassed. "Thanks dad..." She smiled warmly. "I try to encourage my little ones to do what they want.." She felt a bit hypocritical knowing that she still didn't feel singing in front of others with the exception of Rakshi.
Cad beamed happy that his grandfather seemed to accept his pass time. "I've been working on something for Haven and Meyra! It's a bit tricky to explain and some what being a bit... irritatingly difficult...but, I'll get it eventually."

Kamiki "Of course you will, you're just a baby! You'll have to show me when its done, I'd love to see it." He nuzzled his daughter. "I'm so proud of you, Bri. You turned out to be such a lovely mare, and already making me a grandfather? I never thought I'd be so happy to feel so old."

Cad grinned wide. "I'll show you when I'm done testing it's safety for the girls." He beamed, after all he didn't want his sisters getting hurt.
She chuckled lightly. "Some day I'll have to bring Rakshi over to meet you too..And you and mother aren't old.. just grandparents.. like mom said. She's a young granny nothing bad with that." She giggled lightly. She hoped that When her father did meet Rakshi that the two got along.

Kamiki "And your so thoughtful, too!" he beamed. He turned towards his daughter. "I have to admit, I have high standards for you. But if he gave you such a son as Cad here, he can't be all that bad," he teased.
