Welcome American citizens! As you well know, the threat of Communism is nigh, and the Chinese are poised to attack the Heart of Freedom, AMERICA. So as to preserve Democracy for future generations, Vault-Tec (TM) brings you the ultimate in anti-nuclear and anti-Communist protection, with Vault-Tec (TM) Vaults! You have been selected to have a place in your local vault, Vault 47, to preserve The American Way for the future.

Here in the Vault, everyone is assigned a role, so as to keep everything running efficiently. Here are the roles that you may receive:

ROLES:


Vault Inhabitant
A simple Vault Inhabitant is nothing S.P.E.C.I.A.L., just your normal SGer, armed only with their wits, their votes, and Democracy! They would be easy pickings for any Communists, but our Democratic Overseer and Guards uphold the Law and Freedom, keeping them safe from the dastardly Chinese. Each day, they vote on who gets imprisoned in the Vault's makeshift brig.


Sniper
The Sniper, whomever they may be, is likely a Communist trying to destroy Democracy, and must be stopped at all costs. Thankfully, with our high-tech Vault Security Team, they can only kill up to one person per day. The Sniper must PM me the username of one player each day, and then they die. The Sniper shall also, along with their kill, PM me a clue about their Gaian persona. Something that will narrow down the list of possible Snipers from Everybody. It could simply be "I'm not Bellecat", or it can be as intricate as "I am actually a Communist", so long as that is somewhere here on Gaia. Also, if you do use the second one, I reserve the right to kill you via Radroaches in the final update.



Guards
There are our two Guards, each with orders to protect the American citizens from any Chinese incursions, upholding Justice and Freedom. They are undercover, so as not to be found easily by Communists. Each day, they may send me a PM telling me whom they would like to protect from the devilish Red Sniper.


Overseer
While many in the Vaults will pine for your magnificent role, it is up to you to lead the Guards and Vault Inhabitants to victory over our greatest foe: Communism. Every day, you will receive a clue from me regarding just who that evil Sniper is. You must do with this knowledge what you see fit. You, too, are undercover, and thus must act as a normal Vault Inhabitant, so make certain to vote every day.


The Player Character
You are a rather S.P.E.C.I.A.L. person, whomever you may be. Your whole life was determined mere moments after you were born, but your story is not yet written. Thus, it is up to you. Who will you be? What kind of person are you? Or, to make this easier on us both, you get a choice. Every night, you can pick one other living, non-jailed character. You may then decide if you will save them from the Red Sniper, or kill them like the Communist you are. Once this is all said and done with, I will tally up your deeds, to see if you are of Good Karma, or Bad Karma. If you are Good, you will win with the Vault Inhabitants, Guards, and the Overseer. If you are Bad, you will win with the Sniper. And if you kill the Sniper, well, you win by yourself, you cold b*****d, you. [Note: You cannot load a previous save just to see both endings.]

>If you start drama or irk me sufficiently, you will die.
>VOTE EVERY DAY.
>If you have a role, PM me EVERY DAY.
>If you fail to vote 5 times total, or 3 in a row, you are gone from the game, unless you give me a damn good reason for your absence. After that, even one and you are done for.
>Follow all other Rules (Gaia, GDSC, NSA, FCC, NFL, and so on.)
>If you so choose, you may PM me the results of your G.O.A.T., by which I mean PM me what you want, I'll try to work it into any update you are featured in.
>If you are dead or jailed, you no longer exist, sorry. No tattling roles and such to those whom are Still Alive.
>Things change, I happen. Keep checking this, as something may come up.
