 The afternoon was cool, and comfortable. It was rare to have such weather during the summer season. But the pride had been lucking out lately, and Athalia was enjoying it immensely. Seated neatly on a long slab of stone, gazing over the not too distant ground below, the juv groomed herself calmly, licking a paw, and running it over a round ear after a few moments, repeating this process. The majority of her family was already out and about, a few of her brothers off with a second hunting trip for the day with their father, and others with their mother to learn the ways of medicine. For her, it was a little moment to have a break, simply relaxing and indulging in the life that she had been given. Reflection was almost always a given.

 (he is actually Earth Clan.) Chetan was out and about with his favorite bird companion Uzulu. he was taking the time to enjoy the beautiful weather they where having at the moment. "come on Uzulu lets go find somewhere to Relax and enjoy this lovely day." usually he wanted to play and mess around with his siblings, friends or his bird companion, but today he just felt like relaxing. which of course made him think of going on a grand adventure to find the perfect relaxing spot and that's exactly what he was up to at the moment. with a bounce in his step and Uzulu in his mane, he was off and ready to find the perfect relaxing spot.

As she continued her grooming, dragging her paw along the back of her ear, the other twitched, and her eyes followed what had alerted it. They landed on the passing by male, smiling lightly at him. She'd not seen him before.. and what a cute little bird that was fixed in his mane. Giggling quietly to herself, she watched with curiosity, wondering where they might be off to in such a hurry. It seemed the fellow had his mind set on something. Would it be rude to call out a simple hello? Surely she didn't want to deter him from his goal.

Even though Chetan was focused on his goal to find the perfect relaxing spot, he was one to be easily distracted by things. so when he spotted the young female giving him a light smile, he was quick to dismiss his mission and go over to greet her. after all he enjoyed meeting others from other clans and making new friends. "Hello!" a big grin was on his face, as he simply wandered right up to her since she seemed friendly enough by smiling at him as he was passing by. " I'm Chetan and this is Uzulu. its nice to meet you and i really hope i'm not being a bother." chuckling a bit, he hope he wasn't intruding on her space.

Her ears perked as she saw the male approach her, tail flicking slightly in a small gesture of happiness. Some company would be nice, and meeting a new individual of the pride was always a treat. She nodded to him as she was greeted, her smile sweet and warm, "Hello there. A fine day, isn't it?" Looking from lion to avian, she tipped her head curiously, admiring the cute little bird. But her ears flicked at his latter comment, giving a light giggle of her own, and a shake of her head, "You certainly aren't intruding at all. The company is welcomed. I am Athalia. It's very nice to meet the two of you." she replies calmly, obviously quite intrigued by the companion this male had with him.

Chetan was never one to pass up good company or meeting someone new that he had not gotten a chance to meet. "yes it definitely is a fine day, specially for a nice walk." chuckling he was amused with her being so intrigued with his companion Uzulu. " well i am glad to hear that." grinning like a goof, he was always glad when he wasn't intruding.
Uzulu tilted his head as he watched the female watch him. clicking his beak, he nested more into Chetan's mane and ruffled his feather to the point he looked like a feathered puff ball.

"It most certainly is." she concurred, glancing around idly at their surroundings. The mountains were always beautiful, and even more so on such calm days like these. "Is that what you were doing today?" she asked curiously, looking back to the male before her. He had seemed pretty determined moments before coming on over. A soft giggle rose from the young lioness at Uzulu's cute antic's, making her tail curl, "What a sweet little bird you are.." she coo's softly to the tiny companion.

Chetan had always been easy to distract from whatever he was doing moments before. he tended to go with the flow and live in the moment instead of worrying about the future. " well.......to be honest i don't where i was going to go. i just up and decided i wanted to find the perfect relaxing spot." he gave a laugh of amusement since he thought she probably would think he was weird for deciding something so random. " what about you? were you enjoying the lovely afternoon?"
Uzulu clicked his beak again a couple times before puffing up more. he then started to groom his feather to make sure he looked good. it was clear Uzulu did have so kind off a ego and didn't mind getting to be the center of attention.

Perking her ears forward, she gave a warm smile, tipping her head a little, "Well there's nothing wrong with that. You'd probably be more likely to find something interesting that way." she replied smoothly. Her eyes cast to the side, towards where she'd been looking over the cliff she'd perched on, "Oh yes. The air is nicest up here, I think. So fresh and cool.. I love it.." she practically purred. Though her eyes did flicker over to the preening bird, another soft giggle escaping, "Your companion is quite adorable." she compliments, watching the bird in adoration.

"well so far i have managed to make a new friend our of this little adventure. so i think so far its been a good adventure so far." giving a chuckle, chetan was enjoying his new found company and the area they happened to be in. " this spot really is nice." he took in a nice deep breath with closed eyes and smiled while a breeze blew past. " the crisp air and cool breeze is lovely.i can see why you like this spot." he then opened his eyes and grinned. " Uzulu just a show off and loves to get all the attention when i meet someone." he started to snicker until uzulu decided to n** his ear. "OUCH. ok ok ok Uzulu you are sooooooooo adorable and sweet." rolling his eyes with amusement, he really did love the company of his bird companion.
