The shadows of the branches above played on the ground below. Ithili watched them change with the passing wind and the suns ray. It reminded him of a game that his siblings and him made. They would make up stories about what they saw in the shadows. The stories were never the best in the world, nor did the shadows resemble anything that they were talking about in the stories. One story was about a stallion climbing the mountain of the skies. The shadow was only a few lines from the grasses that they were resting by. There was no way it looked like any of that but the telling was fun anyway and they all laughed at the funny ending. It had been a very long time since they played such games but Ithili looked to the shadows every once in awhile and would remember. The thoughts reminded him of the past and wonderfully fun times.
The shadows were what brought Ithili out this way today. He actually didn't even have a purpose for his walk today. It was just a walk about to enjoy the area around him. The pleasing sights and smells. On these walks he would find trinkets others have dropped or skipped by because they were going by so fast. Everyone had somewhere to go, somewhere that they had to be in a rush. That was not the way to enjoy life. One should enjoy the walk to the destination as well as the destination. That was really what Ithili was doing today. Granted he spent most of his days enjoying lifes treasures and pleasures, so it wasn't a surprise he would do it again.
"I wonder what I'll end up finding today."
