A large black sign is visible at each entrance to The Reaper Core wearing crimson block letters reading "WARNING: NON-REAPERS MAY NOT ENTER UNSUPERVISED."
Mounted above the very heart of The Citadel, The Reaper Core is a massive spherical structure that comprises the majority of The Citadel's dome-like skyline. Connected to the rest of The Citadel by a network of encased catwalks, the suspended Reaper Core's exterior is coated in a highly reflective silver material, which causes the light of the sun to glow over it like a diamond. To many who'll never have the privilege of entering the Reaper Core, it is admired as The Jewel of The Citadel. The Core's interior could not be more contrasting. Inside, segmented matte gray walls rise up to form the Core's Inner Dome, which houses some of The Citadel's most technologically advanced equipment. The Reaper Core's express purpose is to train and house the Reapers of Rykros, helping them along their paths to power by offering them the best training the planet has to offer. Virtual Reality Simulators, and "Sandbox" Chambers where a Reaper can learn to create and absorb matter are among the highlights of The Reaper Core's features, but many others should not be overlooked including the Core's Reconstruction Cells, Random Terrain Training Room and an Anti-Matter Chamber.
Crimson Legion patrols are everywhere, wearing their customary Power Armor and keeping their rifles slung over their shoulders. As with all other parts of The Citadel, the Artificial Intelligence L.I.S.A. keeps a close watch on all activities within The Reaper Core and numerous hidden Burrow Turrets and Defense Drones ensure that any incidents will be quickly neutralized. True to the warnings printed beside The Core's entrances, its automated defense systems are programmed to target any and all Non-Reaper, Non-Legion Individuals. Guests must carry a passkey that is calibrated to The Core's defense grid, or run the very real risk of being shot to pieces. These passkeys become invalid if taken outside of The Reaper Core.
The Grand Marshall Srin Azio's private quarters are located above The Reaper Core. Past a Class S Security Checkpoint monitored by a fire team of 5 Crimson Knights and a Black Templar, a personal elevator rises directly into Srin's chambers at the top of the Core. Sensors within the elevator will not activate the lift unless Srin is physically present, or the passenger can provide Srin's personal passcode. His chambers offer the grandest view in the entire nation, as its walls and ceilings consist of the top of the outer dome's one-way reflective shell, allowing observers to look out across the whole of The Citadel and beyond.

 Noctis smiles at his new reaper and extends his hand to the Core before them. The sun reflected off the building and Noctis smiles." Welcome to where are kind belongs. The Reaper Core." he starts leading him forward towards the doors.

 "All I need is my gauntlet to bring life to this world." ||| - Kuroi Raikiba - ||| ••••••••••••••••••••••••••• As the Grandmaster led him further into the Citadel, they came across a building that the man spoke of with, what appeared to be, admiration. Kuroi had never met any Reapers that weren't apart of his own family. He wondered if this place would be where he could do so. There appeared to be guards outside of the buildings in odd armor that the Warrior had never seen in his life. "Wow. This place is amazing. I wonder why I've never come here before. Are there many others like us on Rykros or are we few of a kind?" The Reaper asked, wondering about many other things. Although he wouldn't flood the man with questions, just yet. "So, how did you become Grandmaster? You don't look too old. So I don't think it was your sheer life experience. I mean no disrespect in my words, though."

Noctis smiles and stops infront of the gates."We are few compared to most races. We have power so we are feared for it. So we don't always have the best record with producing more of us." he looks at the reaper and smiles."To truly understand life you must understand death. I have died twice and came back. My powers have only changed to my understanding all of the two forces"

I don't understand why anyone would dislike us for that." Kuroi scowled, thinking back to how he was treated by people he had met in Indelca. They clearly knew he was a Reaper, due to his family and his Gauntlet. But they didn't treat him different because of these things. "Well, there is always someone bound to dislike us for something. We don't necessarily stay our Gauntlets from the innocent. If it will save life, as a whole, we have to do it." Kiba's eyes widened as he learned of the man's death. Twice. How was that even possible? Even for a Reaper it seemed far too far fetched. He would ask him about it, sooner or later. It might as well be while the young Warrior was on good terms with the Grandmaster. "How did you die? Twice? Only to get brought back to life, both times?"

Noctis closes his eyes and leans against the structure."You must understand, those with great power are always feared. If they are loved liked, or anything good there is always fear.... We have the power to make everything.... At the time I become a Hero.... Is when I will make my home..." he smiles at the boys comment, he may have a zealot on his hands here."That is true but it still weights on our hearts child. The saying"Life is a b***h" is not far off....." He crosses his arms and opens his eyes to look at the reaper."A dear dear friend.... At the time of my death, a women named Kora found me and by god's hand he gave me life.... That women.... I wish she had come.... The second time was of darker nature. I was killed by a goddess and I granted myself a rebirth changing me into what you see now..."

I don't understand...' The Reaper pondered for a moment before dismissing all the bad thoughts from his mind and paying full attention to everything the Grandmaster was saying. "It seems like this Goddess doesn't mess around. But who was this woman Kora? It seems as though you miss her or something. How come she isn't here? With you?" Kuroi asked, curiously. He was always interested in the details about any situation. He was quite the pedant, on occasion, stressing the details, often. He mimiced the movement of Lord Noctis, leaning against the building in the exact same manner. He too closed his eyes as he thought about... things.

Noctis sighed."Morganna.... She is the goddess of Ruin and Choas...." he felt a bit of pain... He had loved Kora..."She didn't come.... I was brought here by death... Others have came from a portal...." he looks over at the young reaper and smiles. "But in time... I will see her again.... Like many others..." he knew the first thought on the Reaper's mind about the fear."They may like you but fear is always there... Everyone is scared of power."

Then again, I'd be mad, too, if my name was Morganna. It's like... an odd name. That's all I have to say on the subject. I figured if she's a goddess she can kill me whenever she pleases. And I don't want that." Kiba said, laughing for a moment. "In time... Like.... when you die? You can't die! You're... you! Thinking back, however, I think we established who you were far earlier in the conversation, didn't we? Well, if you die, it could result in thousands of deaths. But life as a whole can't move on if you live forever. So I would think it would be about picking the perfect time to die, at this moment. A problem, indeed..."

Noctis pats his shoulder."Calm. It's in the past, plus never look at your death as a way. Our Kind is needed more than anything. Our Lives are need, not just mine... But Every Reaper." he gets off the building and starts walking. There was a small garden part he lead them to. It was full of life, which he wanted to show the boy. He points to the plants, flowers and the coloring all bright and inviting."Tell me what do you see these plants as?" he points to another group of plants, ugly and weed looking."and these."

Noctis heard the yelling and knew it off the bat, he looked at the reaper."Stay and think." Noctis goes to where the defences had been firing. He motions them off and looks at Raph."Sorry Brother, it's just for the safety of my people... What is it that you need?"

''Brother, I recently became the King of Mau -- in fact, so recently that I received the news just before I went sight-seeing with... Eliza...beth." He started, though his breath almost halted at this very moment. ''Elizabeth. I need to talk to her later, about this... Ugh, I still can't believe you did that, Roxanne."
Recovering from his sudden pause in thought -- he looked back at Noctis and decided to simply get to the point. ''I want the power to protect my nation. I want you to give me the Insanity's Cross. I know it's foolish for me to decide this so rashly, but I know that I'm eventually going to ask for it anyways, so I might as well just get it over and done with. I may not be the strongest, mentally, but even if I succumb to insanity, I can still be of use to Mau. So... please. Could you give it to me? Even if all I am is a fool?"

There is no leaving.... After this point." he crosses his arms and smiles."I'm happy for you.... Lordship is big.... I'm glad to have a friend somewhere other than here..... Your mission is simple.... Convert The Lord and Lady of The Devil's Eye..... There is a squad that has found them...." he puts his hand on his shoulder and smiles."Speaker of the Legion..."

''Aaaaaw. I'm happy for me, too, brother," He said, a smile curving both of his lips, as he placed his hand on Noctis' shoulder, before giving him a strong hug. After a while, he let go, ignoring the fact that he probably looked a little strange right now. ''Haha, sorry, sorry. But you should know by now that I would devote my life to the legion, if that is what you wanted. I may not have many friends... but of all of them, you're my best one... and I can only be fair -- in returning the favor. I will not leave the Legion. I will not abandon you or the group for anyone or anything else. I know I told you, in the beginning, that I wasn't the "loyal" type, but I don't think I've ever felt more at home than here..." Saluting Noctis, his leader, he smiled as he hunched Roxanne over his shoulder, giving the man a thumb's up. ''Aye-aye, Captain. I'll be back before you know it. Unless they kill me. But hey, either way, 'should be fun." Walking only a few steps before he suddenly stopped, he turned around and looked Noctis back in the eye.
''One question first, though, before I go. I've fallen for Elizabeth... a woman... and I was wondering one thing. If I was ever to have a child with her... and I simply wanted to settle down... would retirement... after obtaining the Insanity's Cross... be possible?"
