A plump and full red moon hung over twisted and snaked and twirled woods. Light made it possible to travel with ease even for a none nocturnal creature. Tahki, however, never had any problem traveling through the dark. She was used to the dark thanks to hours of wasted life on the computer or video games. But tonight just seemed to perfect an evening to pass up.

So among the darkness and the red there was a little spot of white and gold. There was nothing quite like traveling in true form. The feel of the ground beneath her claws felt better and even the taste of the air was that much better. Tahki always felt a lot better when she was in true form not to mention freer and a little braver at that.

The woods offered a safe haven. There were only trees here with no voice or eyes to judge her with. Just trees and the moon and the ground and some times the occasional creature that would crawl by. For the most part though it was all her. And Tahki enjoyed every minute of it until a branch fell directly in front of her and caused her to shriek. The branch had just barely missed the teen gryphon.
