 Cambria was staring at the cell phone on the ground. The iphone had been carelessly dropped in the hallway and no one had come back to claim it. The touch screen was face down and the shiny silver backing was face up and reflecting the light from one of the windows.
She tilted her head to one side and peered at it intently before tilting it to the other side and peering at it again. Nope. The temptation was too great. She snatched up the shiny and checked the touch screen, looked to have survived the fall to the ground. Must have been a short kid. Heh.
She unlocked the phone curiously and flipped through the game aps. Oh thank all that's holy. Bejeweled.
She swiftly opened the game and with wide unblinking eyes began to play.

Looking here, there, and just about anywhere Daz ran around looking for the iphone his father had given him so they could contact each other. If anyone would see Daz's face it was changing from panicked to mad. "Where the f**k is it?!" The toddler shouted as he kept on running.
Getting tired Daz went to walking but just as he did he spotted a girl with something in her hands. Daz walked a bit more and finally saw what it was that the girl had in her hand, it was his iphone. "Hey that's mine you stupid girl!" Daz shouted and ran towards the old girl and as he got close he just pounced her.

All the warning Cambria had before being tacked into the ground was some shouting and being called a stupid girl. The iphone went scudding over the hallway. All she could do was yelp in horror. Her Bejeweled! Noooo she'd been doing a speed game and her record was so high!
She peered up at the boy who'd tackled her to the ground and narrowed her eyes at him. "Why you JERK. MY RECORD'S RUINED! And you knocked it out of my hand, who's the stupid one here!? You could have broken it!" She shoved him off without a care for being gentle and picked herself up and dusted off her clothes before stomping over to retrieve the shiny phone.

Being shoved hurt since his head met with the wall but there was no time to think about the pain since Cambria was already going for his phone. "I don't care about your game. I care that you're stealing and using my phone you thief." While yelling he got up as quick as he could and tried to rush for his phone. As he did he purposely bumped Cambria as hard as he could so he could beat her to his phone.
Laughing as he now walked to his phone but as his attention was still on the girl he had bumped Daz had not noticed that he was extremely close to his phone. A loud crunch sound came as the toddler's foot contented with the phone. Slowly Daz turned his head to look at the damage soon seeing the large crack on the iphone. It wasn't too damage since it looked to still be working but the look on Daz's screen looked like he had just done the worst thing in the world.

"Now look what you did, you little monster." Cambria gathered herself to her full height once she caught her balance from being bumped. "And I didn't steal it. It was on the ground and I didn't move once I found it. Serves you right for calling me a thief." Granted, she could be one and often was one but only of shiny things like tin foil or mommy's ring you borrowed and left lying around.

Picking up the device slowly like it was his baby he held it in his hand and just stared at it as an electronic crying emotion came onto Daz's screen. Daz didn't really ignore Cambria, he had actually heard everything the girl said but he was just so sad that his phone had been damaged.
Finally almost five minutes of being silent Daz finally turned to look at Cambria. "Shut up. In the end yo still had it and you even made me break it by trying to take it. Now I'm going to make you buy me a new one." Now looking mad he walked over to the girl that was of course taller than him and looked as if he was ready to fight.

"Buy you a new one? Pfft. Yeah right." Cambria wouldn't be bothered with that. "I didn't know it was yours. You coulda just asked me to hand it back. Instead you tackle me and cause it to go flying." She tossed her feathered head. "It's not my fault you're a little idiot." She favored him with a malicious grin. "You got what was coming to you. And you'll get even more if you keep bugging me." She could curse someone with bad luck for two days now. That's a long time to be falling down stairs, breaking mirrors, getting caught in sudden rain, and forgetting important objects.

At first Daz was pissed with what Cambria was saying but then Daz just began to laugh at the threat, not thinking of what trouble he would get in. "What? What are you going to do? Hit me with your girly hands. Pfft you're probably just a weak girl. So you're going to find a way to get me a new phone or else I'm going to bring justice to your sorry a**." The boy continued to to laugh. He already had his run of bad luck but he didn't know it would possibly get worse. "Bring it on you stupid girl. I'm not afraid of you." Thinking ti was going to be a fight he went into a fighting position and waited for the girl to make a move.

"One's for sorrow you little ignoramus." She'd heard that word touted about by one of the older kids. "Your bad luck's just beginning ya snot." She cackled, a grating unpleasant sound that could cause temporary hearing loss after a long exposure. "And the start of it is I'm not paying for something you broke. Sure go ahead and try to hit me. You'll trip over nothing and break that phone further."

Twitching from the unpleasent sound he just shook his head and looked at her as she kept talking. "Huh? The boy was put in a state of confusion from what just happened. "Are you f**king crazy or something. You're not making any sense. Daz replied but as he took a step forward he tripped causing his phone to go flyinf off. Both met with the floor but the only difference was Daz's helmet was strong enough to take the fall but not the phone.
The phone lay there in different little bits and Daz laid there on the floor with what felt like a pounding headache. Slowly his head moved up to look at Cambria. He was use to tripping so he didn't think it was due to the girl. "Don't you dare laugh!" Daz shouted as he began to sit up but as he did a loud rip could be heard. The back of his jacket had ripped. He could not believe it had just happen that he just froze there, not taking it in.

Oh no, Cambria didn't laugh. She did something worse. She smirked in such a self satisfied, triumphant and malicious manner that not a single person would stand up for her if she were smacked. She then did the most irritating and infuriating thing someone could do in this situation. "I told you so."
She reveled in his misfortune, to think, he could expect this luck for two whole days and the only luck he'd have was that her powers weren't strong enough to cause him major harm. Ha! That's what he got.

Feeling a bit defeated Daz slowly stood up as he looked to the girl in front of him. Staying silent for a bit he then went to tap the side of his helmet to reveal his face to show him pouting and glaring with dark red eyes. "If this really is your doing you better know that I'll get you back for this, ugly." He said as he pointed to her then stuck out his tongue. "I won't let a little bad luck get me down because in the end the hero wins."
Turning around he tried to walk away all cool but it didn't end that way as a door came flying open hitting him right in the face. A black cat was the cause for the door opening and once it heard Daz's yells of pain it run off.

Cambria tossed her feathers again and snorted. "Just learn the lesson you little a** and remember to stay away from me." She turned on her heel to walk the other way whilst smirking about the door hitting that stupid kid in the face. Classic. Once again, Cambria the Great and Cruel wins, "hero" pffft.

Standing there he shock with anger for now he really did believe that Cambria was being this misfortune, but was there really anything he could do at that moment. There was nothing, but that didn't mean Daz would just stand there and do nothing. Turning around it with a large read mark on his face he gave a smirk. "This is nothing. A real hero can take this unlike a weak and stupid girl like you who is just running away and not even challenging me. I'm not afraid of this stupid little bad luck so come face me unless you're some kind of sissy weak stupid girlie chicken." Crossing his arms the boy just waited there, wanting to see what kind of reaction the other would give before he spoke up again. "Or are you really scared of me?"

Cambria grinned at the stupid toddler and made that grinding cackling noise again. "Dumb a**. I already won." She cocked a hip like a girl in her teens instead of a child and stood looking at him. She doubted he'd be able to touch her with the bad luck riding him. "And I'm about as scared of you as I am of anything else." Which is to say, not at all. She had no fear and very little self survival instinct. Maybe it was all the bad luck she gave others, but her luck had always been good when it came to getting out of tight situations.
