ZIRALEET FLEET Making their temporary home at the northern end of Narrow Lake, this flight's occupies an eerie water-logged cave. Most of its light is reflected off of the watery floor, and its only landing spots are ledges on the walls.

PiquantYour in-flight movie - Cry of Ziraleet12 Aug 2011 | A brave wyvern leaves her flight to combat the mysterious shadow terrorizing the north.
21 Aug 2011 | The brave wyvern finds her first recruit, a maternal wyvern who is more interested in making sure the flight eats well than the menace. Her warm name - Butternut - matches her personality.
23 Aug 2011 | An ambitious and greedy wyvern bullies her way into the small flight, bringing a treasure trove of junk. Avarice is well-named.
28 Aug 2011 | A bright an sunny wyvern joins the flight - happy-go-lucky and childish, Piquant has already managed to break things and earned Avarice's ire.
29 Aug 2011 | The bright and sunny wyvern finds an egg! It is brought home with aplomb, dropped at Butternut's feet with a look begging for praise - Kaleidoscope is not sure what to do with an egg and Avarice is already building a wall around her space.
7 Sept 2011 | A calm and serene wyvern emerges from the egg, a pleased smile on her face. The flight relaxes until is becomes obvious the new hatchling isn't all there.
22 Sept 2011 | The brave wyvern sets out for a foraging expedition, and returns with an egg!
28 Sept 2011 | Dulcet goes missing, sending the flight into a frenzy. A couple of days later, and she has yet to be found, the wyverns settling into a state of muted worry.
4 Oct 2011 | The flight awakens to find the egg has hatched, but no wyvern. It is only later in the day that Piquant stumbles upon a quivering green wyvern in the reeds.
Later in the day Dulcet flows into the cave, dragging along an egg, and in a roundabout way confirms that its hers, to Butternut's dismay (and Avarice's - more eggs!)
6 Oct 2011 | No one claims the recruiting of this new wyvern, who bursts into the cave with aplomb and bravado and proceeds to promptly terrorize everyone within. He aptly introduces himself as Hellion.
15 Oct 2011 | Cacophony finds a lost egg!
27 Oct 2011 | Paradigm pops out of her egg...his egg?, yet another oddball.
1 Nov 2011 | Something is not quite right with this new arrival...

Kaleidoscope is the brave and adventurous leader. A gutsy girl who set out against the angry shadow terrorizing the north. A wyvern with many adventures and the pluck to succeed; if she wasn't such a quick-thinker Kaleidoscope would be dead many times over. Naive enough to believe the best of her explorations and determined enough to make it work. Kaleidoscope is a leader who accepts all opinions and will talk you out of ones she doesn't like - yet she's not sure if she'll still be a leader once the menace is vanquished.

Breeding Preferences: Lots and lots of shinies - who cares what the wyvern looks like, it's what they bring that's important
Avarice is the greedy kleptomaniac. She wants more, more, more! More recognition, more food, more shinies - all of it, now. It's what got her kicked out of her previous flight, in fact; they could no longer handle her bratty ways and compulsive hoarding. She's not very mean-spirited, nor very stupid. Her concerns are, however, limited to herself and her stuff, and rarely thinks beyond that. The bane of her existence: eggs (and the babies that hatch out of them). She looks on with dismay as wyverns hatch from eggs, just knowing they'll trample her hoard.

Piquant is the happy-go-lucky spazz. Nothing gets this happy guy down, not since he first hatched from his egg. He happily left his gloomy flight when Kaleidoscope came knocking. His attention is flighty and he is ever the optimist who still has much to learn, being little more than a baby wyvern. Piquant is clumsy and always managing to break things (Avarice detests him, for it is mostly her stuff that is broken) yet Butternut adores the little guy and the feeling is mutual.

Breeding Preferences: Patient wyverns. Very patient wyverns.
Dulcet is the unbalanced philosopher. From the moment she hatched, secretive smile on her face, it's been obvious that she's not quite all there. She stares into nothing half of the time, and spends the other half asking odd questions which seem to have no relation with each other. At times she seems the wisest wyvern, and then she says something to smash that image. Dulcet is very attached to Piquant, having been told that he found her egg. It unnerves the orange wyvern that she will often stare at him for hours. Dulcet likes to ponder the whys of the universe, and her questions aren't always easy to hear.
