Overview

-Korra's friends are both named Bolin and Mako. Bolin, whom is a Earthbender, and Mako, whom is a firebender, are both brothers.
-The series will include a metropolitan called 'The Republic City' which is a metropolis rising high in technology
-The Southern Water Temple (assumed) appears in the trailer and is seen to be greatly improved
-Metalbender Cops are a new form of order. Like actual cops, they are used to maintain order by using their metal bending abilities with metal-like wires they have equipped in their armor.
-Along with the Metalbender cops are "Bei Fong" a grown woman who is Toph's daughter. She is head of the Metalbender Cops.
-Amon; the main antagonist of the series and leader of the Equalists. He wears a mask and much of him is unknown.
-Like every other Avatar, they must have an animal guide. Aang (Appa) and Roku (Fang), both had animal guides, and in this case, Korra's animal guide will be a large polar bear dog named Naga.
-There is a New Air Temple Island
-Flying Bison's will be designed differently
-The Cabbage merchant's legacy still lives on.
-Tenzin has 3 children named Meelo, Ikki, and Jinora along with a pregnant wife who will somehow be involved with the Equalists.
- (NEW!) There will be a sport played called "Pro-bending" which each team will have three members, each with an individual bending art. It will be a crazed sport played in the Republic City and will be resembled to boxing craze in that engaged in the 1920's. It's rumored that Korra, Bolin, and Mako met there.

Equalists & Amon

Equalists are an organizational group against the art of bending and benders. Not much is known about them or why their dislike against bending is so strong, but it is known that they use Chi-blocking while fighting, giving them numerous upper hands in battle. If you watch the trailer closely, it shows that they aren't so easy to battle.


Amon on the other hand is a the very leader of the Equalists.
Not much is known about him other than that he is a mysterious individual who wears a mask.

one thing i'd really love to know is whether any of the original team avatar will be alive during this time. i know its 70 years later and that aang has died, but im curious if anyone else is still living and will appear in the show....

Korra looks a little like Sokka xD from the face. Oh my gosh. I hope it's a looooong season ;.; Please be it.

edit: From what I could tell from the trailer. I think we might be seeing "better" water bending. Because she already knows water bending and katara was just learning ( although she learned fast and was awesome! Love the blood bending, hope there some of that ^^ )
Plus Korra is a hot head xD So maybe we will see a lot of fire or something >/.///// < I JUST CAN'T WAIT.

I'm not sure. For some reason it looks like she's 10x better in firebending than any other element. But other than that, she is is originally a waterbender, so maybe she does. I really hope they get a new member on their team or something. That'd be cool as well.
