Overview
If some of you haven't heard, the creators of Avatar have created a spin-off to Avatar: The Last Airbender, called, "The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra". It was rumored to air by the end of 2011, but was delayed to mid 2012 to add more episode (there being already 26 planned in total)
The story will set 70 years after the original Avatar: The Last Airbender arc. It's commonly about a 17 year old, female avatar, whose name is Korra (and whose photo is at the top and is originally a waterbender), and her friend's must come together to put an end to a Anti-bender revolt being brought to life by a organizational group called the 'Equalists'. These Equalists are a group of people who are against the art of bending and know numbers chi-blocking, and fighting styles. Korra, who has already mastered the elements Water, Fire, and Earth, must, as well, learn to bend the element Air from her teacher Tenzin (whom is Katara and Aang's son). But it will be very difficult to pursue this goal with the revolt taking place and with the Equalists' leader, Amon, taking actions.
