Yejian looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. He didn’t see his den insight, looking at his brother he complained. “Now you’ve done it, you got us lost.” He continued looking around hoping to see the den in his line of vision, but the dark cheetah cub heard nothing and saw nothing. He knew they were lost and he knew their mom was going to kill them. She always told them they were never allowed to leave the den. It was a big and dangerous world and that he would understand when he was older; but until now he didn’t believe her. “How are we gonna get home since you got us lost.”
Yitian knew he shouldn’t have left the den, but he and his brother had done it many times before and nothing happened. He felt liked they had been walking around for hours but he knew that it had only been a short amount of time. He didn’t pay much attention to his brother till he started blaming him for what they BOTH did together. He stopped and glared at his brother, “ME?!” He was outraged, “It was your idea to leave the den! This is your fault!” He huffed and pushed his brother.
“You said to come this way!” Yejian said pushing his brother back.
“Did not! I didn’t even want to leave the den!”
“Liar!”
“Am not!” Yitian was begging to become increasingly upset at his brother.
“Are too!”
“GAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!” The lightly colder cheetah tackled his brother causing both of them to flip and spin numerous times wrestling in the dirt still blaming each other about who got them lost.

The time that his brother said we'd meet back up one day, it seemed like forever. His brother, loyal brother Ubi was everything that could make the best enemy but best friend. They were always together... now when they said that they needed to live their OWN lives. Well, things weren't the same. Koran had learned from his fighting skills to hunt and track. He learned his careful side from his mother and most of all. Pride from his father. He still carried it with him whereever he went and somehow all that made him... him.
The one thing though, he could never forget... was how happy he was as a kid. Meeting Lin, Yue and even Ming. They all played rolls to making him- Koran. The way he was now, but all his long ago friends had grown up. He heard from Lin that Ming left, and Lin with Yue both had to endure when their mother left. Things weren't always bright and shining days. Though that all- he was simple. Humble and friendly, and most of all..playful still after all this time.
He had been lounging under a bush for the past two days that he had claimed it as his territory. Just the bush. A few ear flicks and he was being pulled by the face to the sky by his alerted ears. As he moved his neck up and his eyes slitted with a yawn quickly attached. He scanned the area with his blurry eyes- trying to focus all he could til another yawn came and everything came in to perspective. Shaking his head to the sounds of kids. Well- that was odd, looking around he didn't see any but he HEARD them. That's for sure. Lifting his head up and looking like some bush tiger, he turned around to see to blobs in the distance. Then looked around for any larger figures.
Nothing. His ears fanned back as his head tilted some. "Alone?" He tore himself from the bush and slowly started to walk as if the day never wasted day light... all the time in the world before he lightly came in to a trot to where the blobs were.. "Ah~ hello?" He questioned out with a canter to his step and stopped relatively soon after he was spotted.

Yejian paused after a voice caught his attention, He looked up to see a stranger, "Oh hello~~" He had his brother currently pinned underneath him. Could this stranger be trusted, "Where did you come from?" He got off his brother allowing him to get up.
Yitian looked at the older cheetah from an upside down perspective until his brother let him up. "Jerk" He huffed under his breath once he was allowed up. "Mom said were not allowed to talk to strangers dufus." He said stepping back away from the strange cheetah. "What do you want." He said talking the stranger.
"Moms not here idiot and we need to find a way to get home." He looked back the cheetah eyeing him carefully. He pushed his brother, "Stop being such a goody" he sighed and shook his head.
"Well maybe if you stoped getting us into trouble i would have to be the smart one!" Yitian glared at his brother, he always tried to make him seem like the bad guy when it was his one stupid fault.
"I dont get us into trouble, i take us on adventures!!" He snipped back at his brother. He turned his gaze completely on his brother.
"You got us in trouble today!!"
"Did not!!!"
"Did too!"
Yejian jumped tackling his brother, forgetting about the stanger, sending him and his brother back into a wrestling and flipping frenzy.

A yawn escaped him before shaking his fur off before completely meeting them. His fur falling back in to place as he played off a cheerful smile. "Hellow and~" Not even being able to get a word in before they went in to a frenzy. He blinked for a moment fell on to his hunches with a laughter that could best be described as wholesome. Who did that remind him of? Damn he missed his brothers- well Ubi.
Pausing as he went to paw at his hair that got in his face and huffed at it a few times before turning back to them and STILL they were in a mess. Another puffing laughed escaped before he dipped his paw in to the massive cloud of cubs and pulled out on by the neck fur.
"Hey hey now~ Cut that out~ what were you saying?" Shaking his head as he let the cub down slowly. "I came from far away- I travel now. Where did you two trouble makers sprout from?" A cheerful grin to his face as his tail wagged happily. "I haven't seen anyone that feisty since myself and MY brother." Putting a paw on one head, then the other paw on another as he separated them to make sense of them both as to not get entangled again. "Where are your parents? And do they know your here- and~~~~~~ are you two on an adventure?" His ears went up and his eyes lit just a little, that flare that came from his days as a cub.

Yitian snarled when the stranger picked them up, who was this cheetah. "My idiot brother got us lost and now we cant find our way back." He said squirming about in hope the stranger would put them down.
Yejain kept trying to kick his brother even after the male seperated them, "Put me down!" He too squirmed like his brother. "I did not get us lost you did!" He stared at the older cheetah. "Our mom doesnt know we left and yes we is on an adventure."
The light colored cheetah growled, "Stupid shut up! Mom said dont talk to strangers." Sometimes Yitian wanted to kick is brother right in the mouth he talked to much. But then again it was is own fault for listening to him.
Yejian glared at his brother "Well how are we gonna get back unless we talk dufus" yejian tried to kick is brother but the stranger still had them by the neck fur. All the twins could do was growl and squirm.

When they scrambled and when he tore them away from each other. He got more direct answers than when they were together and sprout and growing off each other's comments. Well, now he had some sort of story figured out. "So your saying one of you lead the other one too far from home. It's ok. I can help." Nodding with a sureness in his voice. "That's right, if you don't tell someone you need help, how are you going to get it. Didn't your father teach you to track yet? Your about that age when I first started." Nodding the a hefty nod and slowly putting them down and smiled.
"Alrighty." Leaning down to one of their head's and bluntly put his nose in the one's fur taking in all his scent. "Wow you must have gone through some dirt. Now let's see.." He took a moment to harness the quiet.. then couldn't from the bickering. "Guys! Hush. You need to locate your senses." Using the smell he got form the cub, he lowered his head and started to walk absently..
"You two had a walk huh." Chuckling. "So what are your names again? I'm Koran."

Both of the young cubs grew very quiet and stopped there bickering at the mention of their father. They never met there father and they didn't want to. They always saw the hurt in mommy's eyes whenever they or there siblings asked. Both of the cubs just looked at each other wondering what there father was like and why he left.
Yitian just sadly looked down...He didn't know what to say to cheetah about his father. "Mommy said don't talk to strangers there trouble...they are bad..." the only words he could whimper were those he mom told him about strangers.
Yejain looked at his brother, of course he would have to be the one to say something. His brother was always the more timid one out of the pair, he was used to it he didn't even really think about who had to respond. "We don't have a daddy.... our mommy is alone..." He too found him self a little sad by this fact as well...
Yitian tried to forget what the male said. He knew he didnt mean it and he didn't know. He just shook this talk about his father off which was fairly easy but he always felt that subject lingered in his mind. So many 'what ifs' pop into his head when he thinks about his father..."Yes we had an adventure... I'm Yitian." He said trying to be happy because he wanted the same for his brother.
"Im Yejain, the darker cub said smiling at his brother. "Nice to meet you Koran"

"Oh.." He didn't know how to figure without a father. His was ok- not grand but still he and his brothers looked to him for advice. They learned so much from things from his father, and the pride too. Looking at them with a softness, their mother did it on her own with these two? They seemed like they would be a handfull even for both parents. "Your mother sounds like she loves you both- and now I shall make it my mission to return you both safely. If yall want, I can teach you a few things so at least from your adventures you can go back home easier." Nodding in some responsible for teaching, he liked the feeling..
"Alrighty. SO. First you take a sniff~" Going over to them and sniffing each before he leaned close to the ground and sniffed. "Then try linking traces, see you both came from.. this way." Lifting his head and pointing northwest. "Then we keep following it til we find the way to your home. You have to train your nose." Going straight in between them and started to go off with his nose to the ground like a dog. Only reason he was like this was because of the crazy entanglement this two did with their tracks, the faint ones were the ones he tried to follow. Turning back towards them. "Come on." That sincere smile- the gentleman that wouldn't just look away and not help.. Especially since their mother would probably be worried.

Yejain looked at the male, "So all you have to do is use your nose?" That seemed easy enough, he went to his brother and took a big inhalation of his scent. "Ewwwww you seem bad!" the words floods out like butter.
"Of course i do dufus! We've been in dirt all day! I want mommy to give me a bath!. And you didn't smell right you have to concentrate!" He went smelt his brother and began to sniff around. To his own surprise he caught a faint smell. So he started to follow.
Yejian didn't want to be out done by his brother so he too started to sniff, he as well picked up a faint scent neither one looked up because they were concentrating.n Little did they know they were simply going around in a circle one following one another.

Once they started sniffing he smiled and kept following the entangled string of smells til he couldn't hear them immediately behind him. Turning his head and wagging his tail, he was excited to see if they had found one that would lead them back home but he only lifted his head to laugh. The sight was magical and he seemed to get the best laugh he had in his life from them. Almost choking and crying as he hit the ground with one paw. "Guys! Com' on! I found one!" Shaking his head as he darted the way he was sniffing and had an extra jump to his step as he dodged to the side in mid step to look back at them.. Wagging his tail.
"The last one there is a hyena!" Chuckling. "Or gets special training~!"

Once there new friend Koran said that Yitian grabbed his brothers taill and pulled him back. He wasnt going to let his brotherf win this time. He ran after Koran he knew he probably wasnt going to be firest but her sure wasnt going to let himself be last.Yejian yelped with pain when his brother pulled his tail not so much because it hurt but more because it suprised him. His brother never showed this much inisiative when they wrestled or played before. He was inpressed. Once the darkcolored cheetah got over the surprise he started to chase after his brother and their new friend. He wasnt going to let either of them win so easily....Sometime later back at the den...
Ming had awoken from her slumber to find only two out of her four cubs sleeping in the den. It wasnt a big shock to see which ones were missing. She was instintly filled with fear for there safety and anger. She couldnt leave her other cubs to go look for them she just had to wait. Normally she found them down at the watering hole, they didnt listen but they never strayed too far. But still as a mother she couldnt help but worry.

He couldn't help but bounce around with them, and jump over them on occasion. Sniffing out where they should go next and it was apparent that he had been right. "See~ now your scent smells thicker- and like.. layers of it and.." Then the smell of someone familiar. No one could forget a scent- the one of the senses that records without ever faulting. He just couldn't pin point who.
Slowing it down as he filtered through the forest. "Wow your mum picked the perfect spot huh. I won't tell." He turned to the boys. "Do you remember these parts at all?" He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he left them without seeing them home safely. Hopefully their mother couldn't appreciate and understand what he was doing and congratulate her for being amazing.. or so he saw in her children's eyes.

Yejian began to see fimilair setting they were close. "Ya were close our den should be this way!" He was so excited he was almost home! He darted towards the directed of the den leaving his brother and Koran in the dust. He couldnt wait to show mommy there new friend maybe she can adopt him and he can be there brother! That would be so awesome he thought. "Mommy!" He shouted.
Yitian began to chase right after his brother he missed his mommy. "Mom!!!" He yelled for her! He wanted a bath he missed her so much he thought they would never find home again.
Ming was pacing beginning to really worry about the twins but then her ears perked up at the faint sound of a familiar voice. "Yejian! Yitian!" She becan to run towards the voices to see them appear not to far away. "My babies where have you two been! i was so worried!" She began to nuzzle and lick them. She was happy to see they were unharmed. She was so happy she didnt even notice who was approaching right after them.

"Mommy we want you to meet our new friend!"
Ming looked up and her jaw dropped with shock... How....
