Back in the medieval era, where knights were the heroes of the stories, where peasants died of the seemingly incurable plague, and where greedy kings and queens stuffed their bellies and ruled over all others, there was one castle where great knights resided...the Great White Knights, to be exact.
This group of warriors were known as Great White Knights for their skills, valor, and of course, for the color of their armor.
The Great White Knights and their king (King Leolus) lived happily in Viridivair, their peace undisturbed for many years. They would adventure to far off lands and complete many tasks for their king, along with protecting their homelands that they hailed from. Many were hailed as godlike, and people respected them, almost to the point of worship.
One fateful night, while the Great White Knights were away on a mission to recover a long forgotten relic, Gloryheart, for their King, the Dark Knights stealthily infiltrated the castle and brutally slayed King Leolus. When they finally returned with the relic in hand, what greeted them was their King's funeral, a mournful city, and a burning question...
Who will be the next king?
The Great White Knights all agreed on one thing to determine the successor: Whomever delivers revenge, by executing the majority of the Dark Knights until not a single one of them lives. With that in mind, the White Knights will ride on and swear to exact vengeance for their fallen King.
The Dark Knights are the mischievous, evil minions of the underworld although they are still human. They carried out the orders of their overlord, whose true name is not known and goes by 'Lord Loss'. These knights deem deceit, destruction, and death to be the creed they live by.
Having finished their duty that their dark lord issued them, the Dark Knights ride swiftly back to Manorsgate, their castle, to report their successful assassination of King Leolus.

Gloryheart: An old sword that has seen the rise and falls of many kings, serving only the ones it deems the 'true' ruler. It has served it previous owners faithfully, and old stories say that when wielded by the right person, it will help change the tide of war. The last anyone saw it was on a battlefield, where it disappeared after the king wielding it fell. Now it resides in Viridivair, waiting....
Manorsgate: The lair of Lord Loss and the Dark Knights.
Viridivair: The castle that the late King Leolus and the Great White Knights reside at. Keep in mind, it includes the lands that encompass it. Kind of like a kingdom.
