Yu Hyun-Jung was born on April 26th to her father, Yu Min-Ho, and her mother, Kim Hei-Ryung. There was some scandal surrounding Hyun-Jung's birth, but such a thing doesn't really matter. Hei-Ryung died in child birth. Since her father would not say anything on the matter, the secret died with his lover. Of course, this did not negatively impact any of Hyun-Jung's childhood. After all, to everyone on the outside, Hyun-Jung was the daughter of an honest man and his deceased "wife", though they were not married, most would not guess such a thing. In fact, until Middle School, Hyun-Jung lived out a very, very normal childhood.
Biography Of Childhood:
Even before entering school, Hyun-Jung was a bright, respectful young girl. Unlike many, she respected her elders and was perfectly content with honoring family traditions. Overall, she was seen as the ideal daughter. Upon entering school, Hyun-Jung excelled academically. Though she was not brilliant (she was not stupid either, or even of average intelligence), the key to her academic success lay not with raw talent, but rather with her studious nature. From a young age, Hyun-Jung made a habit of staying inside while the other children played and simiply studying her schoolwork. While her father did wish the best for her, he would not have been able to deny the fact that he was extremely please his daughter was so respectful and honorable. Every father wishes the best for his daughter, and Yu Min-Ho simply wanted his daughter to grow up into a fine young lady, marry a fine young man, and have several fine children so that he can know he raised her well. At this age, Hyun-Jung simply wanted whatever her father wanted for her. She may have been able to see in her heart that what her father wanted was not necessarily best, but at the same time she cared about her father more than anything else. Throughout grade school, Hyun-Jung kept this attitude.
Hyun-Jung was twelve when she entered the mysterious realm of Middle School. The immediate difference was that, through friends at school, Hyun-Jung discovered Korean boy bands. While she still studied hard, she spent a lot of time listening to her favorite pop band; her heart would skip a beat whenever her favorite member of the band sang two lines of the song and she learned all of the words to every song by heart. This may seem like a simple fangirl tendancy, however this marked the first time Hyun-Jung ever did something without consulting her father first, as he did not even know when she started listening to the music. For a year, these tendancies would continue to be subtle: going shopping with her girl-friends, listening to Korean pop music, not studying for tests when she said she would be, etc. After all, lurking within her chest was still the desire to do what her father wanted, the desire to be the person her father wanted her to be. But thanks to the influence of her peers, Hyun-Jung began to see the importance of being who she wanted to be.

At the start of seventh grade, tensions rose between Hyun-Jung and her father. In addition to taking English class, as her father wished, Hyun-Jung began to take Russian instead of Latin, as her father thought she should. Her father was infuriated that she did this without his consult, as he immediately saw textbooks for English and Russian. Hyun-Jung replied tersely that she would be doing whatever she wanted to do, as she was learning the language, not he. Enraged, her father stormed out of the house after this interchange. It turns out that he want to a near by bar, and on his way home he was so intoxicated and infuriated that he got into a car accident and died that night. Hyun-Jung went to live with her father's mother after this, and was so ashamed in herself that she stopped all of the previous acts of rebellion all together and vowed to be the person her father had always wanted her to be. Having her father dead because of an act of rebellion was not worth it. Still, Hyun-Jung was so upset by all of this that for the rest of her life, memories of her father would haunt her.
Though she stopped going against her father's previous wishes, Hyun-Jung was different than in her early childhood. More... Distant. In eighth grade, all of her peers noticed this. It was early February of this year that Hyun-Jung's life took another drastic turn.
The black car rolled up beside her as she walked home. Hyun-Jung thought nothing of it, until the car slowed down 'till it was creeping along at the same pace her feet shuffled. To an outsider, Hyun-Jung probably looked like the perfect victim. Not to large, a pretty girl, alone, vulnerable. But Hyun-Jung thought nothing of it. A man jumped out of the car, obviously a European; not only that, but he looked quite frightening with stubble along his chin, a shaved head, muscular build, black suit. Something was injected into Hyun-Jung's neck before she could react, and then there was darkness. No one in Korea ever found out what happened to Hyun-Jung, except for the fact that one day she never came home.
When Hyun-Jung awoke, she was on an airplane. She could only tell because of the engine sounds, as at the moment she was locked in the cargo area. Her hands were locked onto a large trunk by some hand cuffs, and as she tried to move them she immediately became dizzy. Somehow, she had been drugged and kidnapped, now being shipped out of the country. After some shifting of the trunk, Hyun-Jung managed to dislodge it and swing it free. First, she smashed down the door from the cargo area to the main cabin. Then, she knocked out all of the burly European men with the trunk. Finally, she went to the front of the ship, knocked out the pilot and co-pilot, and flew the plane down to the nearest landing with her hands bound to a large trunk ((bamf much?)). Of course, the organization who kidnapped her easily tracked the plane, but to their surprise found a thirteen year-old Korean girl and about a dozen unconscious thugs. The head of the organization was amused enough by this and changed their planes for her. Now, Hyun-Jung was a member of the group, even if it was a low-ranking one. She found out that the group was actually a mafia family, the Chesnokov Family, also a major Russian orgainzed crime group.
At first, Hyun-Jung was given simple jobs, though she completed them so beautifully and without question that she was soon assigned bigger jobs. One such job was to take out the heir of a rival family. The job seemed easy. Hyun-Jung snuck into a masquerade ball in the other family's headquarters and immediately tracked him down. However, when their eyes first met as Hyun-Jung was raising her switchblade to gut him, they immediately fell in love with each other. Thus, for once, Hyun-Jung did not complete the job she was assigned. Upon returning to the family headquarters, Hyun-Jung proposed that the two families create a treaty. She was met with many jests, as the others immediately knew what had happened, and thus she earned the nickname "Juliet" for being a, quote, "desperate fourteen-year-old airhead in love with an even more desperate teenage stalker". Nevertheless, Hyun-Jung and the heir to the other family had a few more meetings. Then, in a shoot out, the heir to the other family killed the head of the Chesnokov family, thus getting him mowed over by a machine gun and Hyun-Jung and his brief affair ended.
There was one more family head before Hyun-Jung. After six months he accidentally stepped on a landmine and blew up.
At age 15, Hyun-Jung became the youngest head of the family ever. And she still maintains this position, as well as a life as a High School student, on occasion.

Can be used in rapid succession in multiple directions to make it tougher to avoid, though this ends up wearing Hyun-Jung out more than using it once.

- By spinning the Zanbato, Sky flames are used as a shield that can deflect direct blows and projectiles for a moment, such as right when a projectile would land or right when a blow would land.
Ancient Arts - Form 1
- This attack is from a very old and non-practiced martial arts form. Its name has been lost over the years. In this attack, the Zanbato's hilt is used to attack. The movements of this attack are focused on small accurate distance strikes to pressure points, which attack the foe's nervous system. If five pressure points along an opponent's body are all hit in succession, then the opponent will be rendered immobile for a spell of time. If the pressure points are not hit in DIRECT succession, then the opponent will only receive some small damage from the strike.
Ancient Arts Form 2
- This attack uses is for support. By meditating for a moment in the middle of a battle, Hyun-Jung's reaction speed increases. This can be used in a few different ways. The most used is that, if meditating for a longer period of time, a physical attack can be countered by the Zanbato, and the counter will cut like a normal sword attack. Or, if she doesn't wish to use her Zanbato, the increased reaction time will be less significant, but will still be increased enough to have a bit of an upper hand or help her to not be totally killed against a stronger opponent. Meditating leaves a person very vulnerable. While meditating, Hyun-Jung cannot attack, or block any attacks. She needs needs two posts of meditating (at least a paragraph of one to start, and one full post) before she can counter, and three (one to start, one full post, and one to end) before her reaction time will be increased. During this time, someone would have to cover her and make sure that she does not get attacked. Also, the counter cannot be used against attacks which are not physical, for instance flame-based attacks.

Also, it takes three hundred words to charge.

Also, if an opponent is sensing your family's flames, this attack can create such a big mass of dying will flames that it throws off radars. The harmony flame harms both enemy and ally box weapons. A box weapon will be petrified until returning to its box with the cloud of flames. This means that the attack can backfire, and petrify ally box weapons as well. Thus, it is only used for a desperate escape.

Eastern Sky's Defense
- In this attack, Hwasan acts as a shield to attacks and can nullify projectiles. However, with more powerful attacks he can nullify them, but must return to his box immediately. With weaker attacks, Hwasan can nullify three before he has to return to his box. If Hwasan returns to his box, he cannot be used for the duration of the fight.
Harmony of Chaos
- Hwasan charges forward at an opponent. The sky flames give him the ability to move quicker than normal, and with his size, Hyun-Jung can ride on his back. He literally rams into an opponent. If he rams into a person, it is like being hit with a ton of fast moving mass. If he rams into a box weapon, he can deliver not only a hard hit, but the sky's harmony flame which can petrify a box weapon. Of course, the petrification wears off if the box weapon returns to its case. Though this ability may seem very powerful, it has many weaknesses which make it not used often. First and foremost, it's messy. While Hwasan is moving fast, if an opponent avoids it he can't stop himself and can go ramming through a building, off a cliff, etc. and injure himself. Also, it uses up so much sky flames that even if it successfully works, it cannot be used again for the duration of a fight. There is also collateral damage if it does successfully hit. The opponent will be more hurt than he, but Hwasan will still have some damage if he runs head on into an object.
