Last week Bethesda polled members of The Elder Council on what race/player type they’d like to see next. In a runaway vote, the majority of folks wanted to see a Dunmer thief, and above is the awesome screen the team put together.
All I have to say is FINALLY we get to see my favorite race rendered in Skyrim. Oh and take a look at the background the sky looks just beautiful.

Not... not terrible, but I still cast my vote for seeing an Argonian. or an Orc. I can't wait to see that green, trollish skin and trademark Orsimmer pig nose in the new engine.

I really want to see what all 10 look like as well, I was just more excited about seeing the Dunmer since they are my favorite. I'm really digging the new look of the Kajhit.

Watch them not release an image of what the Argonian's look like, or at least not release one until Nov 10 or something crazy like that.

smile I knew that would make you happy. I had to go digging in the Beths forums under the Skyrim section to find those. Not sure if they have them linked to the Blog yet or not.
Nero-Sama I might actually play as a Khajiit, now. VERY impressive!
I know right, the past games I've always been a bit gun shy about playing as one of the "beast" race's but they look DAMN good in Skyrim that I will have to at least play as one once.

Now I'm more pumped for Skyrim, it feels so far away right now.
But all the races are looking good so far, more distinction between them all. Even the Orcs are looking sweet, sweet enough to play as since I've generally avoided them. They're... less 'ugly' and more 'fearsome' in Skyrim, which I much prefer."

Damn I think I just **** a little. XD
I am so stoked....the graphics look like they are going to be incredible. I wish I could have a whole week to myself when the came comes out...just forget work and family life and play the game to my heart's content. xp

I know I have a strong urge even NOW to just call in and pretend that I'm too sick to come into work so I can spend more time playing Skyrim. They have showed a female Nord already, its post here somewhere in the Skyrim sub-forum.
