User ImageYukin curled in on herself and got comfortable as she opened the book in front of her. It was one of her absolute favorites. The bookstore was quiet today, much to her relief, and most of the other customers simply ignored her in passing. Not that she minded in the least. While she could hold a highly intelligent conversation, for hours on end, social interaction was one of her least favorite things. People were cruel and self-absorbed, while books were silent, welcoming and non-judgmental.

User Image Glaring around him slightly Nettle twitched in annoyance. His mother had come looking for a gardening book and so he'd been stuck here, much to his irritation. Now he was bored and instead of going on some kind of rampage he had to find something else to do. Something less destructive. Glancing around he gave an evil grin before smoothing his expression into that of an apathetic man before curiously glancing down the different aisles full of books. Finally spotting a orange female he watches her as she read. She seemed perfect prey.

Smiling in his most friendly manner he approached her. "Excuse me? Could you tell me where the physiology section is?"

She jumped at the sound of his voice, full engrossed in her book. Frowning she looked around them, hoping to see that he had been asking someone else. When it was clear that it was indeed her that he had addressed she uncurled herself and stood up, trying to flash him a smile. It came out as more of a slight twitch of her lips before her expression fell back to one of neutrality. She had been enjoying her book, and it was getting to the climax of a very important battle. She had been imagining herself there along side of the main protagonist, fighting for her life. Still, he had asked very politely, and it would be rude not to answer. "I'll show you. It's easier that way, and I'm no good with directions. Especially if you haven't been in the store before." She led him down aisles of books, turning once or twice before stopping. "Here you are. Would you like help finding something else?"
