The white lioness continued on her path. What that path was, she did no know. But surely she was headed somewhere? Larka always thought there were guiding influences upon everyone that led them to where they needed to be, and it was blind faith that kept her moving, towards somewhere she thought she was meant to be.
Her path had recently led her to a dense jungle, it was unlike anything she had seen before. Dark colors, different sounds, a whole new atmosphere. It was beautiful. Larka had not known places like this exsited, so different from the savannah she had been roaming her whole life. It was a change of scenery and one that she was enjoying very much.
Golden eyes wandered from one thing to the next, the unusual plants, the great big vines that hung from the massive, packed trees, the leaves of the trees covering the sky, with only specks of light shining through, making the place that much more mysterious.
"Perhaps I am meant to be here?" She wondered to herself.

The young lioness was wandering the pride, climbing through the trees. Ney'ite wasn't a queen of the pride, yet. She was on her way, she was getting older and soon enough, before she knew it her mother would hand her throne of the pride and she would have to be mated to a male that she was really just starting to get to know. She had a lot that was going to be riding on her shoulders. She didn't exactly feel ready for this, because of that she was a bit of an angsty teenager to a point, but it was hard to walk around the pride knowing that she was oging to in control at some point. It actually kind of upsetted her.
However on the other hand whenever she got the chance she ould wander around the pride doing normal jobs, or at least as normal as she could get. Today she had just returned from lessons with her mom and she decided the best thing to do was to spend her time doing what she wanted and seeing the things in the pride that she wanted to. Today she decided that she was going to wander the borders and see what guards did. She was pretty good at climbing the trees and keeping an eye on the borders and she was enjoying climbing the trees and seeing the things that were going on. As she wandered on the trees she spotted something on the ground. She grunted as she started to jump down toward the bottom. "Maybe you are. This is the Iknimaya lands. Welcome, we are a home to many." She commented simply, before nodding to her.

The sudden appearance of another lion in front of her startled the white lion, and she jumped back, not sure of what was going to happen. It was strange, she hadn't expected there to be anyone around these parts, but now Larka realized that was a silly thing to think, after all, there were lions all over the place, why would there be some in the jungle too.
Looking at the other, Larka noticed her dark coat and markings, and thought that with her white pelt, it must have been very easy to spot her through the trees. She couldn't decide whether this was a good thing or not, and she only hoped that the other was a friendly sort, rather than one who was nasty. She certainly doesn't seem dangerous, she thought to herself.
"You scared me," she said softly, regaining her composure. Golden eyes looked quizzically at the other. That was a pride she had not heard of before.
"Iknimaya Lands? I haven't heard of them before," she said in the same soft tone she had used before. There was interest behind her question. Lions that lived the this beautiful place? She wanted to know more.

Ney'ite looked at the lioness and thought about what she did for a moment. As she thought about it she realized that if a lion wasn't part of the pride how surprising something like that could be. She knew many of the pride members were used to things like that, mostly because many of the lions also wandered through the pride from the trees. They were really good at that, all of the members in the pride learned how to climb through the trees quickly, Ney'ite knew how to do it since she was really little. She flicked her hair out of her eyes as she looked at the lioness. "Sorry," she started sincerely. "I forget some times that the lions that aren't part of the pride don't always expect lions falling from trees."
She paused for a moment and then chuckled a tiny bit then flicked her hair out of her eyes and smiled at the male with a nod. She smiled at the lioness. "This pride is home for us, our Mother Ewya blessed the lands for us. It's a wonderful home." She smiled and nodded again, she flicked her tail around behind her and then nodded. "We have recently re-established ourselves, not many lions leave because they enjoy it here." She said simply, looking around, she had to admit even though she didn't want to be the queen yet, she did want to be part of the pride. She loved the pride a lot, she loved it with every bit of herself. "Not many lions have really heard of it, peaceful lands. You would fit in nicely." She chuckled with a smile still on her face.

"That's okay," she said quietly. It made sense now that if there were lions in the jungle, that they would live in the trees. Larka looked up for a moment. The black lioness made it look so easy. She wasn't sure how she would go up in the branches. Were they all adept at climbing? She assumed so, but what of the cubs? Are they kept in the trees too? Perhaps that is why they are good at climbing, because they are born up there.
"It is beautiful," she replied, her eyes taking in the wonder of the unique foliage again. It was such a pretty place, Larka thought she might never want to leave. And then at the last point in the other lioness' statement her eyes grew wide.
"Really? I could fit in?" She looked surprised by the announcement. Larka had yet to find a place to call her own, and yet here was another, telling her she would fit in. Could it be true? Perhaps her paws had been guiding her in the right place after all. Perhaps the one guiding her was the Mother Ewya that was mentioned before. Suddenly she felt excited, the prospect of a home with others was one she had been searching for for some time. And now it seemed to have come out of nowhere.
"I'm Larka, by the way." She mentioned offhandedly, remembering she hadn't introduced herself.

Ney'ite looked at the lioness and then nodded happily, there was one thing that she would always agree with no matter how old she was. "This pride is quite beautiful. I love it." No matter how much she wished that she could deny her future she really enjoyed her pride and she was proud to be in it and proud to be around it. She would spend a lot of her time wandering around and being one with everything around her. She loved it a lot, she wished that she didn't have to worry about the things coming her way she could relax and let things happen as they happened but she was being rushed into a certain place and she knew she was.
she paused for a moment and thought about it before nodding to the lioness. "I think you could, I don't see why you couldn't." she thought about it for a moment and turned toward the lioness. "well, you'll have to learn the ways of the pride obviously and get to know how the pride works." She said simply before giggling and nodding at the lioness and then flicked her hair out of her eyes and then looked around. "I mean I don't see why you can't If you are looking for a home. I don't think you can join today exactly you'll have to meet our mom." She paused for a moment and thenc hcukled and nodded at the lioness. "you seem harmless." She liked the idea of new members. She always enjoyed seeing new life in the pride. The lioness's colors were acceptable she didn't see why the lioness wouldn't be able to fit in.

It only took Larka an instant to think over the idea of joining the pride. If they were all as nice as the black lioness she had met she would have no problem in calling it home, and learning about their ways didn't bother the white lioness, she was sure it would be interesting, and not feel like a bore at all.
"Is your mother the Queen?" She asked, a bit surprised that the one she was talking to could be of royal blood. Then she paused, wondering if she had used the correct term for the female leader. Most prides she had heard of simply called the ruling females Queens, but there were others that had different terms.
"I think I would like to join your pride." She nodded, her mind made up. Even if she couldn't join right away, she wanted to become a part of it soon. After all, if she was meant to be here, why delay what was obviously meant to happen.
Larka smiled, pleased with how things were working out.

Ney'ite had a smile on her face as she looked at the other lioness, she loved her pride and seeing another lioness who was interested in joining her home was something that made her pretty happy. She was interested in one day being able to do her job, she wasn't that sure how she felt about her future title however she knew that this was a job that she liked to do, she really liked her job and right now she was getting a taste of it and that made her pretty happy. She was meeting a new member of the pride and this was nice. Well at least what she was hoping to be a future member of the pride, she enjoyed the idea of meeting the future member of the pride.
"My mother is technically the queen." She chuckled a little nodding. "But she is the spirtual leader, my father is the lead warrior." She stated simply before flicking her hair out of her eyes and then nodding toward the female and then smiling at her. "I would like to let you join the pride." she said with a small chuckle. "I can take you in to meet my mother, she would like to meet you." She said nodding at the idea, she knew her mother also loved to meet new members of the pride. She was hoping that the lioness woudl enjoy the pride.
