It had to happen sometime, and after he had taken some time to rest and heal a bit, Asch felt it was about time. Plus, he couldn't leave her in that ball forever. The Pokemon would have to eat, and hopefully being couped up in the ball for such a long period would make her more likely to cooperate. He didn't really know this Vaporeon very well, but she could prove to be troublesome.

That's why the agent brought her to one of the training gyms. It was a good place with lots of space where she couldn't escape and wouldn't be able to damage anything or herself. That is if she decided to prove... unruly. Luxury ball in hand, his left considering his right was still in the sling, he entered the gym followed by his Zoroark and Zorua. The doors were securely shut behind them.

Asch couldn't very well defend himself from an angry Pokemon at the moment, and thus his own loyal Pokemon were there to serve as protection and a means to help control the stolen water type. Saber sat crouched next to his master and eyed the luxury ball that he held. Tyke tilting his head curiously as he wondered what was going to happened as he stood on Asch's other side.

After a moment of quiet thought, he then finally triggered the release of the ball, letting out its occupant. Here goes nothing.

The elegant light that shot from the luxury ball formed the Vaporeon's shape, before breaking away to reveal the blue striped creature.

She was at a good distance from Asch, her feet spread enough to show she was ready for action, but when her eyes opened, the vaporeon's head snapped around, looking around the room as if surprised, and confused.
Where was she?! "Va? Va?"

The chain hanging from her fin jingled lightly feather swaying with it.
That all stopped though, as large yellow eyes drifted over the room, and stopped dead when she caught sight of the boy who looked like Luke... with his two pokemon.

Instantly her confused look vanished, and her teeth were bared, muzzle wrinkling in a threatening posture. This was the man who heal a knife to her Rosie!
Vany'n stepped back, tail thrashing aggressively behind her, a deep growl rumbling from her chest.

Asch sighed quietly as Vahy'n quickly deduced the situation and started growling at him. This illicited a growl from Saber as well who started to rise up threateningly, ready to defend his master. However, he was stopped by a hand motion from Asch and quickly settled down again. However, Saber continued to watched the Vaporeon closely.

He regarded the water type cooly, keeping his voice calm and level as he spoke to her. "That won't help you here." He told the growling Pokemon. "I have no intention of harming you, but I will put you back if you give me too much trouble."

Tyke's ears slicked back as he looked between Vahy'n and his master. He liked Vahy'n and he liked his master. He didn't like seeing them not get along, although he couldn't really blame her. "Zor zor!" he called to her, taking a tentative step forward. ""

Asch glanced down at the Zorua for a moment before looking back towards the Vaporeon. He didn't expect her to like or trust him, but if he could atleast keep her from mauling him, that would be a plus.

Like hell it wouldn't help her! Where did this boy get off thinking he could just take her from Rosie? So someone actually succeeded in taking her. And to think, it was a Luke look alike.
Not threatened by Saber when he growled back, she lifting her head and took a step forward, as if daring him to do something. But he was gestured down by Asch.
What was he planning on doing with her? if he planned on trying to tame her well, than he had another thing coming to him!

Eyes shot down to Tyke when he spoke to her.
She barked back.

Her fins were splayed wide, and the Vaporeon lowered herself closer to the ground, growling deeply again.
Her eyes glowed a bright blue, thin fur bristling along her spine.
As she did this the ground began to shiver, and rumble, before monstrous jets of powerful water split from the ground all around them, using her hydro pump.

At her harsh reply, Tyke ducked his head and whined softly. He didn't like this, but master knew what he was doing. He would just have to trust him, and hope that everything would be okay in the end.

Asch wasn't at all surprised at Vahy'n's continued aggression, even as she made to attack him. Saber quickly leaped in front of Asch and took the full force of the attack. It was powerful and Saber had to fight to keep from being thrown back from the force of the water.

The Zoroark wasn't stopped by Asch this time, and after the attack had passed, Saber went into action. With blinding speed, Saber rushed forwards as dark energy gathered around him. Then with a mighty slash of his claws, that energy was thrown at Vahy'n in a Night Daze attack.

Again Tyke whined and shut his eyes, not wanting to watch as he pressed his face against Asch's boot.

The rattling of her beads was drown out by the roaring of the multiple water blasts gushing from the ground, drenching the aria, everyone around, and starting to develop a layer of water around everyone's feet.

Some of the water pillars shielded the approach of the Zoroark as he dove to attack her. So her reaction wasn't as quickly as she would have liked.
"VA!" She barked, head jerking back up in alarm when the large dark Pokemon was suddenly upon her. she attempted to leap out of the way, but felt the attack strike her hard on her chest.

It was a solid hit, but Vany'n took it, sliding back, water parting along her feet as she went.
When she finally stopped, she hunched for a moment, quickly gathering herself and turning on the Zoroark.

Still, water flooded around them, her power over the element not yielding, pulling another one from below the Zoroark's feet.

Asch watched the ensuing battle keenly, keeping his attention mostly on Vahy'n. Saber didn't have to defeat her, but at least wear her out enough to lessen her ability to fight. It might be a bit cruel, but a worn out Pokemon should be more cooperative and he took Faleen's advice to heart. He wouldn't go easy on this Vaporeon, and if that meant not healing her, that's what it took.

Saber got his hit in, but to his surprise, found fountains erupting from underneath him. "ZRK!" he cried as he was shot into the air from the force of the water coming from the ground. However, he quickly managed to regain his composure and did a forward flip in the air. Coming back down, the dark type snarled and lashed out his claws in a Night Slash attack.

Ears pressed back, Tyke's green eyes peered out from around Asch's boot as he watched all of this taking place. He whimpered some more, not liking this one bit. It just didn't feel right, and he didn't want to see them fighting.

Vany'n wasn't going to kid herself about the situation, to think that she would be able to take on this trainer and his pokemon, when she had so much stacked against her.
She could be pulled back at any time.
She was alone, had no trainer, no matter how hard she fought, she couldn't do this forever.

Vany'n was a smart lady, and if she was going to have any hope, she was going to have to get away.
by the time the second attack was flung at her, she had been able to thoroughly soak the room.

Yellow eyes found her large opponent, narrowing softly at him, changing the tactic of the battle from attack, to evasion.
Vany'n moved quickly, skidding through the water easily, with much more ease than she could on solid ground.

she wasn't heading toward Asch, or one of his dark types. Instead she moved completely out of range of the battle, charging a new attack.
Her aurora beam was fired, the frigid colorful beam launching forward, and blasting the door straight on.

By now Asch was wet. Soaked actually. But it didn't seem to faze him as he continued to watch the face off between the Vaporeon and Zoroark, with dripping hair hanging in his face. Tyke actually took a moment to shake out his fur, and frowned worriedly as he too watched.

Now the Vaporeon was just stalling for time Asch noted as Vahy'n now took an evasive tactic. She was holding her own rather well without the support of her trainer, but Asch wasn't about to let up.

"There's no where to escape. This will just continue until you give up." Asch's voice carrying across the room as he spoke to the Vaporeon once again. Even if she ended up fainting, this situation would just be repeated until Vahy'n decided to surrender. If the Vaporeon wanted to kill herself resisting, then that's how it would have to be.

"" Tyke now added as he watched her fire off an Aurora Beam.

Saber lifted his arms in preparation for another attack, but was surprised to see that it was instead directed at the door. Asch had made sure the door was solidly locked. This was a training gym after all, and it was meant to stand abuse, thus the doors took the hit with little trouble.

"That won't work," Asch told the Vaporeon plainly.

When her attack cleared, Vany'n eyes widened in surprise to see that the door had held completely stead fast.
She stared at it, trying to think if there could be another way out. when Type called to her again, and the man spoke.

The Vaporeon leg off a sharp growl, turning swiftly in the water to face the three again.
She didn't attack again though, though he kept her defensive stance.

Asch returned Vahy'n's glare with one of his own, his stern frown remaining in place as he stood ridgidly, watching the Pokemon closely. His stance portraying that he wasn't about to back down, even as Saber paused to shake the water from his fur. A spray of water droplets flying through the air and falling down like rain upon the Rocket and Zorua.

The boy let out an impatient sigh, knowing this would be difficult, but it was still a pain. He was beginning to wonder if it was even worth hanging onto this Pokemon, or if he was better off letting the Team dictate its fate. "I don't like this anymore than you," he snapped at her growling. "Just deal with it. I'm not letting you go, and if you want to live a decent life, you have to cooperate. I don't care if you like me or not, but you'll spend the rest of your life in this ball or being studied in the labs if I find you're not worth my time."

Tyke glanced up at his master than then looked back at Vahy'n, his ears still slicked back as he then looked down at his paws with a whine. This was all very distressing for the little Zorua.

Vahy'n didn't attack again, but she didn't drop her guard either. Standing by the door, elbow deep in water.
Her head was low, features still strained with stress and anger, but her eyes were still, locked firmly on Asch as he spoke to her again, darting to the pokemon, to make sure he couldn't throw a surprise attack at her.

Now, Vany'n wasn't stupid, and it was easy to recognize that she was indeed in a hopeless situation, all of it depending on the mercy and will of this Rocket who threatened her Rosie, and stole her away.
She had a couple of options though... keep fighting him, and she didn't doubt that he would lock her away for good, and leave her no openings to do anything about it.
Or... like he was insisting... and as the young Zorua was insisting... cooperate.

Her eyes narrowed softly, before they closed completely, and she dropped her defensive stance, relaxing her posture a little, and letting the water spewing from the ground died slowly down before the room was silent, save for the sloshing of draining water.

"That's better," Asch said as he waded through the water towards a wall where he flipped a large switch. The sound of gurgling as drains opened reverberated through the room and the water level started steadily going down. With the water having gotten so deep, Tyke had to keep his head up to keep his nose above water. Eventually this got old and he instead scrambled up to his favorite perch on Asch's shoulder, breathing a sigh of relief as Vahy'n calmed down.

Since Vahy'n was starting to relent, Asch decided to take it a step further by recalling Saber. This left himself open for attack with only the minute Tyke to defend him. A show of trust that would hopefully defuse the Vaporeon further. The Zoroark disappeared in a flash of light and his ball was returned to his side.

The water soon dissipated, leaving only some small puddles and a very damp and slick floor. Asch took a few paces closer to Vahy'n, but didn't dare to get too close just yet. "I didn't harm your trainer, and I never intended to," he told her.

Her eyes didn't stay closed for long, yellow gaze returned to the human carefully, though she didn't attack, or act like she was going to do anything of the sort. That didn't mean she trusted him, or looked at all pleased about the situation.

Her fins did perk up a little more at the mention of her trainer not being hurt, eyes blinking once before turning her face to the side a little, not looking away from him.
That did seem a little strange, and the look on her face said this very clearly... He was a Rocket, all the Rocket they had met before had been cruel, and wanted to hurt them, why was he different.

"Don't look so surprised," Asch said with a tinge of disgust in his voice as he reached behind him to pull something from a small pack attached to his belt, hidden by his cape. "Even if I am a Rocket, that doesn't mean I like to harm innocent people. Especially if they're unarmed. I'm just here to do my job and follow orders."

Tyke's ears perked up in interest as he realized what Asch was pulling out. It was a poffin, and he set it down on the floor for the Vaporeon. "You must be hungry by now." Even though it was technically a treat, it was all he had at the moment.
