Haemon had left Draug's territory behind him underneath his seething rage was a small ounce of rejection but he laughed bittering to himself when he looked that deep, what had he expected, he had come to Haku's territory as a Lord of the Reign not as his nieces mate. No he did not contemplate those emotions to much for fear of losing himself in despair; first his own family rejected him and now his mates, he was unwanted and unloved by all expect Raelin, the fool. Instead he concentrated on his cool rage honing it into a fine weapon.

Raelin had been longer that he cared to give her, this was not a trip for her to reacquaint herself with her lost family members, the main focus had been to gain tribute which Haku had flatly refuse to give and thus they should have been on their way. But no Raelin had to undermined him try and act if he was just a puppet for her to pull the strings upon, she had simply brushed by him and pulled Haku to one side attempting to calm the situation. After a moment she had returned to him, ordering himself to back down and wait for her where they have slept the night before like some sort of subservient pup. His eyes had glowed dangerously at Raelin then but she had stupidly ignored the warning in his eyes turning as if the matter was settled and walked away with Haku. Haemon had stood and watched them go before spinning on the spot rage boiling and causing all the hair he possessed to stand on end in aggravation.

His anger had now been tempered and tuned, he sat calmly in the small clearing in the woods, nearby a tree which had fallen last winter had offered them their shelter from the elements the night before. Raelin came into the clearing her eyes dull and the fire that usually burnt their had faded somewhat but he did not care at present what ailed his mate, not when his rage blinded such emotions as love and compassion. He simply stared at her with flinty eyes and said nothing, not even a greeting.

Raelin stared at Haemon as she broke the clearing and as she lifted her head to take him in, banishing the conversation she had had with Haku she observed her mate and instantly knew this was not going to be an easy journey home. Old ghosts haunted her thoughts and Haku's despair with the choice she had made to call the Reign of Terror her pack pained her and such thoughts dampened her ability to ignite her inner fire and turn her insecurities on Haemon like she usually did. Arguing with him often led to heated fights led by a tense silence and then broken by soft words and tender touches but the light in his eyes was something new to her or was it. Looking at him closely she remembered that look before, never directed at her but at his brothers.

Knowing Haemon and then placing that look caused her to stop in her tracks and look at him and uncertainty entered her voice. 'What's wrong?' she was meet by silence, deadly silence though he continued to stare at her and her hackles raised through natural instinct kicking in and her voice growled slightly her eyes taking on a little of their normal fiery heat. 'What's that look for? I spend hours trying to negotiated with my Haku so he doesn't put himself and his pack in harm, trying to gain a tribute so you can return with something to offer the Goblin king.' Feeling her weariness, physical and mental seep into her finally her frustration at the current situation with her pack and her family mounting into an all out attack on Haemon, 'Like attacking Haku and his beta so aggressively was ever going to achieve anything but the damage had been done already, Haku did not offer a tribute to me either with fervent claims that if the pack homed wolves like you then he was not going to encourage such things.' As the last words escaped her maw she regretted them. She watched at the light in Haemon's eyes steeled but instead of launching his counter attack as was usual he simply nodded to her, the tone of his voice that followed caused a shiver up her spine.

'Wolves like me...tell me my love, what would they be like then?'

But before she could muster an answer, slightly shaken at this change of tack from him, he had turned and glided like a late evening shadow to the spot where they had slept the night before claiming, 'It is late, we should get some rest before we travel back tomorrow.' She hesitated, the reaction from Haemon was new and the light in his eyes... She took a step forwards, stumbling slightly before regaining herself and then marching purposely over to him the fire now blazing in her eyes. She did not need this nonsense from him, the day had been eventful enough without coming back to have to deal with Haemon, she wanted this out of the way with, the fight over, to make up and them lay with her back to his stomach and feel secure in his warm embrace. She prompted him, 'Is that all you have to say?'

Haemon watched coolly as Raelin came over to him, no fear in her eyes, quite the opposite, as usual she believed she was in control of the situation, this was just another argument they would play out and then forget. But Haemon had a point to make this time, to let her know he was the one in control, that he allowed himself to be subservient to her for the most part but to totally undermined him and his roll within the Reign he would not allow. But more importantly perhaps she had yet to truly released the horror of his darker side, the side Geri and Freki had nurtured over so many years. She stood looking up to him now, fire in her eyes but there was a slightly weariness to her voice he failed to pick up on, perhaps when he wasn't as infuriated as he was he'd pick up on the more subtle emotions of his mate but not now. Instead of going through the motions he took a different tack again, staring her down and in one fluid motion he asserted himself upon her physically.

He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, though he was not rough with her, his fangs failing to pierce her skin, though he pushed a little of his weight down onto her neck a physically demand for her to submit to him. With his jaw clamped down on her neck he simply shuffled his hind legs around her until he was looming over her. He was a great deal larger than Raelin, she herself smaller than average, only just larger than the alpha's mate, Mogheiden. Haemon himself was larger the the alpha in size though lacking the muscle mass of the Goblin king he was less fearsome in appearance, simply looking like a sapling stretching towards the canopy in search of a more rewarding light source. Thus Haemon easily stood over Raelin without having to curl about her hind quarters, his groin still inches away from her loins though his stance over her left her with no doubt of his intentions.

The sudden motion was something unexpected and once again Raelin was caught off guard having not expecting Haemon to skip dinner and go straight for desert. Natural instinct had caused her lips to curl exposing her fangs and a snarling growl to rumbling in her throat, her fur bristling. But these warnings from herself were ignored as he pushed her her neck down indicating that he was expecting her to submit to him. Naturally the fire that usually controlled her subsided, today had been long and arduous and as soon as her words directed to Haemon had been forgotten and she could sleep next to him the better. The unorthodox manner in which Haemon had chosen to approach her could be discussed later along with how he had addressed her uncle. To speed the issue up she submitted to him, her muscles relaxing as the initial indicator to Haemon, twisting her tail to one side for him then bunching her shoulder muscles and hind legs she readied herself to take his weight.

Haemon had not expected her to submit to him so quickly, knowing her usual fiery temper but the sudden shock aside he coolly set to work of her. He did not release his grip on her neck, he simply allowed her to stand a little straighter, preparing herself for his weight.
He lowered himself down closer to her, his groin now brushing against the base of her tail. Natural, carnal desire took over him now and he welcomed it, his rage turning into a boiling mass and erupting into forceful, purposely thrusts. Haemon allowed his shaman senses to control him totally and utterly, his powers flowing and travelling along in his own blood stream rushing down to his groin and causing his p***s to swell and grow. His thrusting grew more frenzied and he curled himself about Raelin, finally the tip of his p***s finding the entrance into her. The next few seconds caused Haemon's mind to wheel and he began to lose control of himself to the senses of blood pulsating, his own restricted by the tissue of his p***s to mix with hers which he sensed all about that small part of himself now inside her. He wanted to be truly one with her, and the unforgettable, undeniable desire to taste her controlled him. He reached a climax and he began to swell rapidly within her, forming the knot which would last minutes after causing them to be connected while he insured his seed was within her. As the knot formed the rush of blood became heady and he could not deny his true desires any more,
Before Raelin could pull away from him into a more comfortable position while they were knotted Haemon pushed his weight forwards preventing her and closed his jaws, his fangs piercing her skin.

Ignoring Raelin's cry of pain Haemon bite her deeper, more than a passionate n** and was greeted with the metallic taste of her blood. The warm liquid slipped down his throat, in a while he knew it'd go to his stomach then to his intestines and absorbed and then he'd truly be one with her. He lapped at the pooling blood on her neck with relish and suddenly releasing what he'd been denying himself for weeks he encouraged the bleeding speeding the flow up towards the wound he'd created in her neck. In this trace like state he barely heard the horrified cries of Raelin, but even with him draining her blood, weakening her, she managed to twist underneath him and he lost his balance ontop of her stumbling to her side. Losing the source of the blood which was slowly trickling down his throat his hunger was controlled rapidly as he came to his senses.

He stood just off to her side, she amazingly didn't run away from him, instead she seem to stare straight at him, a concoction of emotions flicking about in the fire of her eyes. He stared straight back at her, his head hung in a predatory fashion between his shoulders and he licked his lips of the remains of her blood, longing for more but he regained himself and suddenly his head dropped further, indicating the feeling of his own personal horror of what he was, what he desired. He wanted to stare back at her with cold indifference simply stating with his eyes that this was what he was capable off, draining another wolf of their life to fore fill this sickening desire of his but he couldn't, not at Raelin, not at his love. Broken he simply collapsed to the ground.
