((Sorry, never saved his foal uncert and it got saved over when he grew. >: ))

The small but growing colt picked his way through the tall grasses of the plains, eyeing the surrounding woods that called to him. His family wasn't terribly far, just over the great hill he had stumbled down, but the small, pale-blue colt couldn't help but feel a little awkward. This was one of the first times his beloved brother, Falarnon, wasn't around. It wasn't that Vencel hadn't wanted his brother to come with, but today his sibling was to spend some time away with their grandfathers. So that left Vencel alone . . . and while he didn't find the situation ideal, he was going to try his hardest to make the best of it. His brother would return tonight, or so his mother said, but that was still a whole day away.

It was going to take foreeeeeever but, at least there were things to do. Like explore! And while it wasn't nearly as fun without his darker coated brother, it was much better than sulking at home. No, he'd find his sibling a treasure or at least some adventure so he could tell him a story upon his return. So for now, the little colt eyed the small woods. They weren't scary, but . . . it wasn't quite the same without Falarnon by his side.

Pawing at the ground, his pale tail giving a little flick, Vencel decided that it was silly of him to go in to the woods alone. He could run back to his families territory quick enough, and just because Falarnon wasn't here didn't mean he should hesitate. He was tough, wasn't he? Puffing out his chest, the little colt pushed his way in to the woods and put on his bravest face. Though he secretly didn't like to be alone, sometimes it just had to happen. Quietly, the little colt scurried through the woods, not quite sure what he was expecting to find. . . .
