eight Junko didn't go to the mail often, and when she did it was always for the same thing: fabric. She only ever went to get more fabric to make things with, because she couldn't afford the clothes she liked...so it was cheaper to make them how she wanted them to be as opposed to settling for what she thought was cute. Though she did buy some elements of her outfits, but for the most part they were almost completely hand-made. But did she really need to be making clothes? She wouldn't have time to do that before leaving for Tomoko's, and she certainly wouldn't be spending all of her time sewing while she wanted to be spending time with her friend. Vacation was about relaxation! Though sewing did relax her... Oh well. She probably wouldn't even buy anything. There was nothing wrong with window shopping...like...peering through the window of the cooking supplies store she was standing in front of. Ohhhhh! That bowl looked so cute! It was covered with what appeared to be multicolored blood splatter! So pretty! But Junko could never afford that. She pouted and sighed, turning on her heel to continue on to the fabric store. Chobi While most ghouls came for clothing and accessories, Tahki usually made an appearance for two things. Games and music. Usually with music she’d torrent on the inter web or buy. Either or, what ever made the most sense and how ever good the band was. It all just really depended. Games though, Tahki usually bought. Though there was the scarecade too where one could play a whole slew of fun games. That’s where the gryphon was headed to when she spied a familiar figure she’d seen before…. Gym class? Oh! That was.. oh but that whole ordeal had been so embarrassing. Tahki held on tight to her headphones as she passed by the dark haired ghoul and shut her eyes tight hoping not to be noticed. Wait a minute. She couldn’t let her fear of socializing and embarrassment get the best of her. What would Bul say? Tahki bit her lip and pivoted heading towards the girl with the long hair. “Oh.. ummm…” She shyly looked at her feet and worked up the courage to reach out and tap the ghoul on the shoulder, “S-scuse me… Uhh..” eight Junko didn't notice Tahki at first, she was counting how many seeds she had to spend. Not very many as usual. She sighed a little and pouted. No! She wouldn't let this get her down! She'd bargain and save and do whatever it took to get as much as she could for her money. She could do this. She had done it before! It wasn't until she felt the tap on her shoulder that she looked up and back to see who was talking to her. ...Who... .... ........OH! Junko's face lit up with delight as it dawned on her who this was, pocketing her money and clapping her hands together. "Hi! Tahki, right?" It'd been so long since she saw her! Especially considering the last time was because they were both...basically..killed by Red's obstacle course thing. Damn Red. "Yes?" She was asking to be excused. What did she want? Did she need something? Chobi Tahki was amazed when Junko turned around and was happy to see her. The two did not have much of a history together but Tahki generally assumed the worst when it came to bothering some one. But Junko didn't seem to mind at all which sprouted a smile on Tahkis own face. "O-oh.. I was.. Well," Tahki looked down for a short moment before gathering her strenght. Why was it so hard to talk to others? "I was.. Uhh.. Gym class... I don't remember any thing after waking up sides picking you up... D-do you remember anything?" Tahki briefly met Junkos eyes before darting them to something else pretending it was much more interesting then it actually was. Eight Tahki never lost Junko's attention even for a moment, brows raised with curious interest and head tilted to one side. Give her a beak and she could look like a silly bird, probably. She was patient. She could wait for Tahki to find her words. It actually reminded her of herself before others forced themselves upon her for friendship and socialization, which had been a shock to her system but a great one that she loved and was grateful for every day. Oh! Gym class? Er...well...hm! Junko frowned a little, her eyes darting to one side as she thought back on it. What had happened, exactly? She'd found a skull pin and then suddenly been picked up by Tahki as a gryphon. And then she rode her across the field...something about a trail of rainbows... "Um..well...we got hit by something. And then I woke up in my room...and I had something written on my forehead. Um, we flew across the field? It was actually pretty fun! I've never flown through the air before! It must be so cool to be able to do it whenever you want!" Junko was being honest. She wished she could fly all the time, it'd be something cool and interesting. She just had living hair that was annoying and constantly trying to kill her or something. Maybe not kill, but certainly break into pieces so she could be put back together the way She wanted Junko to be. For a moment Junko looked worried, her eyes following Tahki's gaze to find whatever she was looking at. "Is everything alright, Tahki?"

It was a relief to Tahki to hear that Junko remembered just about as much as she did. Just about. Some of it was hazy like the flying part. Just as long as they didnt get detention the gryphon was fine. She'd already gotten detention once before from professor blue which had caused her not to show up to his last class in fear and shame.
"Oooh... N-nononono.. " The gryphon flailed a little. "E-everythings fine." She gave a nervous twitch of a smile to reassure Junko but it may have had the opposite effect she had been going for. Tahki normally on a good day was a bundle of nerves.
"I-it was stupid of me to stop you... S-sorry," She wanted to hurry away now and get away from this socializing and these butterflies in her stomach and chest. But fear kept her in place. Her gaze was now pointed downward toward her feet. She wanted them to move but they now couldn't.
After all that would be rude. Tahki couldnt have that.

Junko would have been mortified if they'd gotten detention. While the first one hadn't been so bad, it'd been things she enjoyed doing except for the whole attacking appliances thing, she really didn't want a second detention on her record. One detention was bad enough. What concerned Junko now was the way Tahki was acting; it was as if the ghoul was scared. Why should she be scared? Junko wasn't going to hurt her, she wasn't even angry that she'd been picked up and flown across the field. It'd been fun from what she could remember. The smile was met with one of her own though she looked unsure, worried about Tahki's behavior. Was everything really okay?
At the gryphon's quiet apology Junko paused a moment, trying to figure out what she was talking about. "What? No, of course not! I'm happy you did! How're you doing, Tahki? Did you come here to shop as well?" D'oh! Stupid question! This was the maul, why wouldn't Tahki be here to shop?! Stupid, stupid! She was just trying to make conversation so Tahki would feel less nervous!

Tahki gave Junko a small smile at the question. It was actually a good question on Junkos part.
"No." She looked down at her feet shyly a little embarrassed why she was really hear. The Scarecade sounded a little juvenile the more she thought about it. What would Junk think of her? But Junko seemed nice enough at least.
"Oh.. umm.. Im actually headed to the scarecade.." Tahki didnt look up. But she wasn't frowning at least. It was just a child like shyness.

No? Then why was she here? Junko tilted her head and waited very patiently for an answer. She wasn't going anywhere until she had one. If Tahki ran? Junko would follow. Oh yes. She wanted--no, needed to know. Okay. That's a lie. She didn't need to know but she was very curious. There were other reasons to come to the mall other than to shop? Junko wanted to know! Was it free? She liked free things. Free, cheap, fun. Those were the key words she looked for when looking for things to do.
"The scarecade? There's...a scarecade here?" Junko hummed curiously and looked around. "Can I go with you? I've never played a video game before...or..been to a scarecade." She blushed now. It was kind of embarrassing, wasn't it? What kind of teenager had never done either of those things before? Sigh. But now she wanted to try it! They were fun, right?

"W-what?" Tahkis head lifted in surprise. Junko wanted to go with her? A smile sprouted on her face.
"S-sure you can come with me!" Tahki would have jumped too if she wasn't so self conscious. Instead the gryphon settled for her happy little smile. "Its this way. " Her tone had returned back to its meek littleness but the excitement was still there.
The gryphon lead the way toward the scarecade.

Junko tilted her head to one side like a curious bird when she noted Tahki's surprise. What? What was so surprising? Did Junko not look the type to play games? She'd try! Really! She would try almost anything once especially if it made someone happy! She grinned as Tahki agreed to the arrangement and followed close alongside her, a bit of an excited bounce in her step. This was going to be so much fun! Tahki would take her to the scarecade and then she would be all 'LOOK AT THIS I AM AWESOME AT EVERYTHING' and then Junko would be like 'OH MY JACK TAHKI YOU'RE AMAZING' and then Tahki would take her under her wing--hehe! Her wing! Get it?--and teach her how to be a game master as well. This was going to be awesome.
"So what's your favorite game, Tahki? I've never played video games or anything before. I don't have any. Except, like, board games and stuff like that. And games on my eyePhone." She was interested to hear Tahki's gaming experience! Oh yes.

((...omfg eight I died....))
"I really like resident good personally. Its... a scarier title filled with all kinds of .... uhh .. really scary stuff." When Tahki said scary she meant things like mormons, and fluffy pink dogs, and angel food cake and all that kind of stuff considered taboo in halloween town.
"I think they have a shooter type in the scarecade we can -" Before she could even finish that thought, the two where there. Standing in front of the bright lite yet dim scarecade. Fun sounds could be heard and there was a lot of blinking lights. The place was a wonderland to any one who enjoyed the art of gaming.
Tahki walked ahead in side a little lost in her thoughts of trying to find the game she had just described to Junko. There were SO MANY though.
"I think.. I think ... They moved it?" She called over to Junko. No matter, there where still quite a bit of games.

((VICTORY! 8D!!))
"Resident Good? I've never heard of that game." But that really didn't mean much. Junko hadn't heard of any game titles, really. The only games she knew were the ones on her eyePhone. Angry Corrividus was her favorite. But what did she mean by scary stuff? Games could be scary? But why would anyone play a scary game...unless it was a learning tool? Was it one of those? But who was it scary to? Halloween or humans? "Could I watch you play it sometime? It sounds interesting!" Junko bounced a bit as she walked alongside Tahki, looking more excited by the minute. This was going to be so awesome! She couldn't wait to see what the Scarecade was like!
When they found it Junko clapped her hands and looked up at the Scarecade's sign before looking toward the interior. Ooooh! This looked amazing! A shooter type game? Like...they were going to shoot things? How did that work? She'd never handled a gun or anything of the sort before. Would they actually be killing things?! No way. They couldn't! This was just a game, nothing more. There was no way they could possibly be actually killing things...
She was looking all around as they walked in to try and find the game Tahki wanted them to play, looking much like a kid in a haven of amazingness and awesome the likes of which they had never laid eyes on before. The lights! The sounds! They were all so cool! This was going to be great! Shopping? Who needed to shop when she could play these! But as Tahki called out to her she realized she had accidentally wandered away from her in her awe-struck stupor. Oops! The ghoul blushed and hurried over to where she saw Tahki waiting, looking around for any sign of the shooting game. Oh. Moved it? That was a shame! "Awww! That's a shame. Um..well there's plenty of games, right? We could play lots of things? What one's your favorite, Tahki?" That was what Junko wanted to play. Her friend's favorite game.
