Somehow managing to dodge his father's paw, through a combination of avoiding the Umholi entirely and his mother's affection, Gakere has proven himself to be a clever, manipulating lion. He's grown past the age where most are driven from the pride, despite Matifu's frequent thoughts of killing the male in his youth. Now, some might wonder if Matifu would even be able to kill his son, who is so much like him. Mpenzi is a smart female, with the personal motto of 'think quickly and speak slowly'. She tends to spend a lot of time observing before choosing a course of action, and finds a sort of wry humor in most of life's challenges. Still, she seeks the best for herself, and has no qualms about changing things to suit her, should the opportunity arise.

Son of Kinja and a roaming rogue, Kamal knew very little about his mother's long heritage or her claim to the firekin throne. He grew up wild, rejecting groups and making a nuisance of himself. When he heard his brother had a mate, he kidnapped Kilua in order to seem just as competent. He's a very large lion, but unusually thin and scraggly. Often has fleas. Somehow scored a spot in the tribe.

Kapera is a survivor. She's very much what one might think of as the traditional 'lioness'. But while she's very good at keeping herself alive, she's somewhat socially awkward. Hunting is what she's good at. Dealing with others... not so much. She's rather muscular and 'masculine', and this hasn't helped her gain many friends. Rather than wallow in self pity, however, she's determined to be the best she can be.

Need not be more than one paragraph in Length: Born the daughter of a passing rogue female who promptly abandoned her in the care of the Umama Nombuso after giving birth Njalo has grown up somewhere between Busisa and Umzingeli. Her half dark-half light coat has often put her on the fence between the conflicting groups of females, but the happy-go-lucky lioness has never considered herself of one mindset or the other. To her, the entire pride who took her in as one of their own are her family and she will happily put her life on the line for anyone light or dark.

Limber is a soft spoken girl who rather gather berries and leaves/ stick to make things then hut. But her sister is helping her to become a better hunter. She was born in the pride and willing to do anything to help!

Her mother named her 'champion' and obviously was right in doing so. Nikonkoni is smug, proud, and aggressive, everything in her life revolves around being 'the best'. She can be harsh and assertive, and trouble seems to follow her around everywhere. She's not a bad person, and she's not heartless, but 'tough love' is about as sweet as she gets. She will never back down from a challenge, no matter how dangerous or absurd it may be. Her view on males is not exactly flattering, but she prides herself on following the rules of the pride (to do otherwise is 'cheating' and the 'best' never cheat!), scoffs superstition, and thinks that everyone ought to know that darker fur is much much better because this is a fact. Somehow she has wound up in a sort-of-rivalry with the pale-furred Simosihle, but is quite confident that she is better and has little to worry about. She's been trying to push her sister Limber into being better, after all Limber is her sister, and her sister needs to be (almost) as amazing as she is.
