Sini was in one of her particular moods. The waters were so warm! The perfect day for a curious mind to explore. Now, it did seem like everyday was a day to explore for this delicate creature with a short attention span, but Sini figured this day was special. Though she really didn't have any clue if the day would be special or not. As she explored a nearby coral shelf for valuables, she spied another creature playing with the fish. She couldn't help but sigh and utter "How cute!" To the stranger.

Her tail swished curiously as her scales shimmered. "Really?" Sini eyed the grey skinned male as she swam over. "They've never done that to me before." It was likely because she was never still enough for them to gather around her. "Could you tell me your secret to taming the fish?" She giggled, swimming around him a few times looking for where the fish had disappeared to.

"Ah!" Sini swam closer to the mer. "Your face is getting a little red. Are you ok? Maybe you need to rest a little." She reached to place a hand on his forehead, when she noticed the school of fish approaching. She pulled away quickly, trying to swim over to greet the skittish fish. It was obvious that they wouldn't accept her until she calmed down .

She snapped her finger. "I did what you said not to do..." Sini's lips flashed a frown as she returned to her new friend's side. Her tail twitched restlessly while her eyes searched for the fish. Sini sighed, turning her attention back to the mer. "Mmm, sorry about that."

"Ok... I just need to be patient..... Patient..." Sini crossed her arms over her chest, hoping that if she could gather all her focus that she could play with the elusive fish. Just a little concentration was needed, but Sini tended to be easily distracted. She turned to he acquaintance as he blurted out his name. "Mercury?" She let the name settle in her mind, "You have a nice name Mercury!" She let herself drift listlessly closer to him, holding out her hand. "I'm Sini and it's nice to meet you Mercury." She giggled, hoping the other mer would shake her hand.

"You think so?" She gave him a bright smile, her fins twitching slightly. She slowly turned around with Mercury's guidance, doing her best not to flinch or get too excited. Sini glanced at her tail with an extraordinary smile on her face. She kept her squeals of joy as contained as she could, turning her gaze to Mercury. "You were right!" Her voice showed her excitement. "They're tickling me!" She began to giggle against her new friend.
