 Asuka woke up next to her mate Kaito, they had been traveling for a few days now in the jungle and She had even seen a monkey, then some jaguar ate it It was kinda sad but oddly funny. she turned her head back and started to remember when she first met Kaito. 2 years ago Asuka wandered through the forest, the pain from the tears in her leg, was enough to make her scream. How did this happen, she was simply in her cave when the elders Guards came and told her to leave. she had no choice, she didnt know what happened or why she was being ordered to leave the tribal grounds but within a few moments she figured it out, they were under attack, an army of daevas were burning the tribe, foxes were running left and right, she saw the tribes guardians and a few foxes fighting back, but she didnt care to keep watching. she fled. she fled and didnt stop. Hours later she reached a clearing her legs torn up, she knew tht would leave scarring. she took one last step and fell to the ground."everyones dead...the elders gone... the tribes been burned, and Im gonna die here....."

A black fox slipped into a human tent. He shuffled through their things. Nothing good... He cursed under his breath and was about to step out when he heard his partner in crime Sayre yelled out that it was an ambush. No! He darted out of the the tent and saw other being caught by the humans, some even being killed by them. He was frozen in horror. He was supposed to be leading the raid and he never checked to see if it was safe, He failed. He looked up and saw Sayre fling over head with a human hanging on for dear life. She shook
off the human and took off. He ran as well. Ran until he knew it was safe. He was out of breath. He looked around and saw a girl lieing there. Was she dead? He saw she was injured badly. He was worried. He nudged the girl. "Are you alive?"

Asuka tried to move, but she couldnt. she heard a voice, but she didnt recognize it."mnnnng whos....there?" she said as she took a gasp for air the pain was unbearable and everything was hazy.
was this black shadow in front of her death."Im...not ready to go yet...please dont take me..." she begged thinking kaito was the grim reaper.
her vision completely blacked out as her body went limp however she was able to manage small gasps every s often.

Well she's not dead... Kaito looked around and scooped the girl onto his back and fleed to the cave where Sayre and himself stayed. He found their stock of bandages and healing herbs. He carefully wrapped her up. He set out some water and food for her when she woke up. He didn't want to leave her but he wanted to check to see if he couldn't find any others. "I'll be back." With that he scurried out of the cave.

Asuka woke up some time later her body sore and her head throbbing. she looked at where the pain was.her lrr1gs were wrapped in bandages, and her thigh had a deep x shaped cut that seemed to be drying she could tell it was going to scar.
she then remembered her tribe... they had all died... she was alone now. in the darkness and this lonely room asuka began to feel tears well up in her eyes.

"Nobody... damn it... " He pounded his paw on the ground. Well.. no one but Sayre. He sighed. Well, he had a promise. He made his way back to his home. Where the poor girl laid nearly half dead. When he got there he noticed she was away. "Hey... you need to eat. Get something in your system."

Asuka looked over at the source of the voice."oh? who are you?" she saw a black figure with silver blue eyes."are you gonna hurt me?" she asked. she stopped though when he said she needed to eat."Eat, you mean your not gonna starve me like a prisoner?"

Kaito blinked down at the girl. "Yes... eat. You are no prisioner. I found you half dead...patched you up." He nudged a fresh kill near her. "My name is Kaito and I'm not going to hurt you. Im here to help." He offered a warm smile and gave her some space.

Asuka looked at him for a moment ad stared."Kaito?" she asked wanting to ensure she had the right name. He had svaed her? he had brought her here an helped patc her up, so he musy be a good buy
when her stomache started growling she blush deep red."Some food sounds nice" she looked down at he food an began to eat slowly.

"There ya go. Eat away cutie." He winked at her. "And... if you need anything." He leaned in close. "and I mean anything." He leaned back "Let me know." Kaito saat down and watched the girl. "Well, you know my name. How about telling me yours?"

Asuka smiled licking some blood off her mouth."My names Asuka...and define 'anything' the way you said that made it sound dirty" asuka gave a nervous laugh, before going back to eating.
"so where am I?" he asked taking another break from her food. she didnt know where she passed out or how far she was carried.

"I can;t really tell you. This is a hidden oasis, under the desert. Used for those up to no good, those who are thieves." He puffed up and cracked a proud smile. "At least you remember you name, Asuka. Good." He smiled a little more. "Me? Do something dirty with a girl I just met... Never!" That is... unless she was up to it.

Asuka moved her head backward."uhm ...I'll pass thanks..." she muttered her face showing signs of disgust."thats very vulgar sir.....wait Im in the desert?!" she asked her face now i a state of disbeleif."how did I get this far....?" she asked her eye twitching slightly

He chuckled, typical reaction. "Don't know. You tell me." Kaito sauntered over to a soft padding he stol from the humans and flopped on it, sending sand everywhere, he never bothered to shake himself off before coming in. "I live here. But it seemed you were running from something, inspecially how tore up you were."

Asuka sighed."My tribe got attacked by some daevas... and as far as I know Im the only survivor...Ive been running for hours, my feet hurt, and I cant feel certain parts of my body..." Asuka wimpered."I dont know how I made it t the desert though I must have run quiet far..." she continued eating what ever it was Kaito had put in front of her
