 Where the main training of the people is done, the woods also sports nice hiking trails to relax on and small creek for water training. -2 to learn anything

Rikkaetheon followed Liliana to the woods. He was ready to do some serious training. He had already missed his novice test once in the other world. He wouldn't risk it again. Although, in his defense, how was he supposed to know he would be sucked through a portal. The sounds and smells of the forest were relaxing, almost refreshing. This was a great choice for a place to train.

Liliana touched his arm, double checking what he still needed to learn. "It would seem you still need Half-Bubble Shield," she said, showing him how to perform the skill in his mind. "After that, I will teach you the water skills you lack. Maybe you could even help me with something I've been working on." She smiled sweetly as she stepped back so he could train.

"Sounds good." He said as he put his headphones to his ears. He stuck his staff into the ground to free his hands for the skills. As the music started he began to let himself drift off.
He focused his energy into his hands. They began to glow, as he focused more energy into them and they began to glow brighter. He released the energy, focusing on the protection. A large golden shield appeared in front of him making it so if anyone where to attack from the front, it would be useless. [1/1]
As he released the shield he felt something inside him awake. Unsure of what it was, he shrugged it off. Still listening to his music he looked at Liliana and nodded. He was ready to read her lips for farther instruction.
((( OOC: I have planned to start awakening the Highborn in him once elemental skills start happening. Liliana arched a brow when she saw something moving in his energy. It wasn't dark at all but it wasn't normal for a human. Moving on, she directly gave him the next skills, the water skills Bubbles and Water Trident, into his mind so he wouldn't have to read her lips.

Rikkaetheon heard her voice, and nodded. Water skills again huh? He might as well learn them, they could come in handy. He wasn't a fan of them, but why refuse to learn something that could save lives?
He concentrated, focusing on the water element. Releasing some of his energy around him, seeking out the moisture in the air and grass. Bubbles began to form around him, he couldn't help but smile. [1/1] Again though, something felt different about his energy. He focused and the bubbles popped.
Next he focused on the nearby stream. He let his energy flow through him and concentrated. He made a throwing motion with his hands and water formed and flew from the stream forming a trident shape flying into a tree before becoming unstable and splashing to the ground. [1/1] There was a flash of light as he did this skill. Something definitely awakened in him.
He felt different, more alive so to say. Runic markings appeared on his neck, and the tops of his wrists. He felt like he had ascended. He concentrated his energy into his hands, and the began to glow a bright golden light. He slashed out at the same tree, and from his hand came a golden crescent shaped slash. It hit the tree cutting it deep before disappearing. [1/1]
He looked at Liliana and pulled his ear buds out of his ears. "Liliana, I don't think I'm human." He said holding up his arm he pulled the sleeve back revealing black runic, almost tribal like markings. "Tattoos just don't appear like this, what's happening?" He asked her. If anyone could help him it was her. He wasn't scared, just confused.

Liliana had to squint her eyes when the new power burst within Rikkaetheon. Once it settled down, she was able to look at him again. The symbols were laced with energy to where she could see them. She had only read about this but it seemed fate gave her a rare treat today. "I believe I know but I want you to try something first." She went through her vast memory until she found what she was looking for. "I want you to try learning something called Light Beam. Draw deep into yourself and find the spiral of power that is yours alone. Bring it through you into your hands and imagine a beam of pure light power firing from them." If he was able to do this, she would be able to answer his questions.

He wasn't sure what she expected but he'd do his best. He concentrated hard on the new energy within himself. He put his headphones back in and let himself drift away. Focusing on the energy and the music.
He concentrated, focusing the energy into his hands. they began to glow a bright golden color. So far nothing out of the ordinary. He rubbed his hands together, transferring all the energy into his right hind, and pointed his hand, palm out at the tree he had been using as a target. He released the energy and a beam of light shot from his palm at the tree. [1/1] The tree groaned and cracked. Not giving way to the young holy man, but definitely feeling the effects of the attacks he had been throwing at it.
He took off the headphones once more and turned back to Liliana. "So, uhh, what does this mean?" He asked her. He knew that she knew what he had become.

Rikkaetheon nodded. "Highborn huh?" He asked her as he picked up his staff and began to walk towards her. "Lets get to it I guess." He added as he got ready to follow her. He was really ready to learn what he had become. He had heard stories of people ascending to higher states of being, but he had thought them mostly stories. By the light, he had done something he had thought impossible. This was a blessing.

Strength = 2 | Speed = 10《《《《《《《《 =========== 》》》》》》》》 After wandering endlessly through the city, it seemed Theo had found the end of the town, and where the large forested area began. After his brief stop, he had continued moving forward, ever so slowly, once again. Theo made his way to a tree in the area and leaned against it, letting himself slide down into a sitting position soon afterwards. Gripping his mask tightly, he lifted it up into his hair, revealing his face. Clapping his hands to his face, he bent forward until he lay on his knees, as pathetic tears of sorrow began to seep down his checks, pattering lightly on the dirt below. He was like a lost little boy, just like when his parents had left him in the cave. He'd never grew up with a normal life like his fellow peers, and was truly still a scared little child. He hadn't changed much since then, besides the production of his sadistic personality which seemed to rule him.
'Don't be such a little puss!' a voice echoed in his head. 'This world is full of life and death. If it wasn't for me, you'd be dead by now!' the voice laughed harshly. It was true, actually. If not for his secondary personality, he'd have died of hunger long ago. He wouldn't have been capable of killing animals for food, or summing up the bravery to even leave the cave. "It's just... I miss mom and dad...," he mumbled quietly. The voice in his head had seeming vanished as he whispered those words, so Theo continued to sit there and wallow in his little pit of self-misery.
