And she had a boyfriend, could she call him that? She did not know.

The teal haired girl laid against the lush green grass and looked up at the clear blue sky. The other night had been so wonderful and she did like him, in fact thinking about it he was the only person she saw as 'more then a friend.' She wondered how long she should leave it before telling people, it was a hard topic for her so she guessed it would be better to wait in fact it ever got serious. No doubt her masters at the temple would try and talk her out of it and Hua would demand to meet him, Yue would not mind that much she did not think. She wondered if Cais and Yue would get on, she knew that Yue was a handful but Cais was so sweet she saw no reason why they shouldn't. A bird drifted back over head making her open her eyes, a good thing really if she had laid there any longer she might have drifted off to sleep. She yawned and then sat up, running her fingers through her hair before standing up on her own too feet. Cais would be here soon anyway.

She had no idea what the two would be doing today, all she knew is that she needed to see him, if for nothing else just to find out that she was not dreaming all this. Her father used to tell her it was only a matter of time because she caught someone's eye and he always dreaded that day. She never believed him, parents always think their child is better than they are and besides that everyone in her village hated her. However in Lunaria she was not that freak anymore and she was sure that Cais had played a huge role in making her accept who she saw, he knew she could talk to the dead - he didn't care so why should she. She just... it was just all too much for her to believe, the spirits had not gifted her with such a thing - she was happy but curious, after the hell they had put her through why now? Why did they feel like she needed a reward or maybe that was just it.

Never the less it was not right to be thinking about that right now, she looked and on the path she saw him wondering with his green hair and orange eyes. She smiled and waved at him before skipping down the slightly slopped field. "Good morning!" She gave a small chuckle as she approached him.

Cais had felt like he belonged on a cloud for the many days that had passed since his wonderful evening. His father had found out naturally as Cais's face could never properly hide what ticked behind it. Once that had happened it was only a matter of time before his mother and sister knew. Upon that he'd been given every ounce of advice the Trinh family had to offer. All he could do was smile in the wake of it all. The fact of the matter was a fact; Cais had a girlfriend.

Though he was still unsure if it was okay to call her that. Thinking about her made him feel giddy like a child and he couldn't help but smile. All of the things that had passed prior to it seemed like on a faraway island somewhere where nothing dark could pass, or something romantic like that. He had to see her again and so they had agreed to meet again. After escaping the many watchful eyes of his house he slipped out and on his way, barely able to maintain walking speed.

Several times he felt himself nearly break into a run but managed to slow himself again. "Calm down." He told himself. "Nothing to get too excited about, you don't want to seem too eager." It was the words of his father and thus the words that seemed to ease him. After all, if his father had managed to get his mother then he must know something about dating.

Moving along the path quickly he came out in sight of her. A warm burst of emotion pushed through him on sight and he felt himself speed up, walking briskly towards her. For some of the first moments in his life he felt completely happy, unaware of the transgressions against him or the scarred memories he held onto; all there was now was her.

"Sara!" he exclaimed, stopping in front of her and pulling her into a light hug. For a moment he held onto her before moving back and nodding. "And a good morning it is." He said, grinning at her.

Today was his day to take her to somewhere special and he had the perfect place... provided he could get access. Down and away from main street sat a small, less populated bar made from a crumbling lighthouse. Cais knew the lighthouse to have one of the best views of Lunaria, but you had to go through the bar first, which was known as a frequented spot by his fellow Nobles. Easy enough. Was the only thought he had on that matter.

Before then though he would do whatever she would like. "I've got a plan for later, but what would you like to start the day off with?" He asked, fixing a stray hair on his head and smiling at her.

Nothing could ruin this day.

Then he hugged her. Her best friend was a overly affectionate person, always open to physical contact of any sorts. However when Cais touched her it was different, she could feel butterflies hovering around in her stomach and small shocks were his hands rested. She buried her head into his shoulder and closed her eyes with a warm smile and a small glow to her cheeks. She had a crush on Cais for some time, however now she could not help but feel that like maybe it was a little more than that, she had started to find comfort in everything about him, his sent, his words and his company. She held onto him and when he let go of her she let him slide away but only because she knew she could hug him again - whenever she wanted. She could not believe he liked her in the same way she liked him, she had never had a boyfriend before, never shared such closeness with someone. It was all new to her - all fresh and exciting.

She tilted her head to the side slightly as he asked her what she wanted to do today. "I have not really thought about it, however whilst we are here we could always just enjoy a walk. I do not really mind how we spend our time as long as I spend it with you." She stated as she reached up and started playing with his hair, flatting it into place. Though as soon as she did she smiled and ruffled it up again. He was so cute, like a little puppy.

"A plan? That does sound interesting. What have you got up your sleeve dear Cais?" She asked raising a eyebrow with a curious look in her eyes, she might like to keep surprises however if there was something that she did not know she found herself obsessing over it. She always liked to know what was coming, what was going on in peoples lives - she inherited the trait from her mother, who was admittedly a huge gossip. She reached out her hand and laced her fingers with his before giving him a gentle pull. She could not stop looking at him, a smile felt like it was tattooed across her face but she could not help it - when she was around him she felt like everything was going to be okay. She felt like she might have a happy ending after all, she was probably reading too much into this, she did not even know how relationships worked. She just knew what happened in fairy-tales and stories. All she knew for certain is that for the time being she did not want to be with anyone else and as long as he felt the same then that was good enough for her.

She leaned over and pecked his cheek before laughing a little at her thoughts.

A weight was lifted just by being around her. Her soft smile, her light aura, it was soothing to Cais and he found that the same grin from nights before remained. At the feel of her against him he felt his cheeks flush with warmth. "Good morning." He said with a smile, nodding. "A walk sounds good, maybe we can head towards my surprise?" He asked with a satisfied smile, allowing himself to be led by her, watching her eagerly as they made their way down the street slowly.

It was an odd feeling for him, one of both foreign nature and familiarity. Sara was what he needed in his life, someone to lean on and someone to care for. The fighter found himself at ease despite his nightly wanderings into the war-torn Imperial City. Perhaps what he had been looking for had been somewhere else. The wet kiss drew his attention back and he blushed again.

With eyes forward he noticed the lighthouse from afar with a smile, gripping her hand and veering towards it. "I'm sure you'll love it. I got special permission, we can eat and see something amazing, then just... spend the rest of the day together if you'd like." He said happily, returning the peck on the cheek with one of his own.

"Sounds like a plan." She nodded, she could do with another relaxing day. Her studies at the temple were exhausting and when she did have time off she liked to spend it in good company. She wanted Cais to meet her guardian, to be honest she did not like lying to her master about where she was going - maybe after she got to know him, then she would let her go out a little more freely.

Sara caught a glimpse of light in his eyes, she turned her head to look in the same general direction. She saw a lighthouse, she stopped almost instantly to stare at it. Hua had listed to her the places she should not go and that was pretty high up on it. Did he really think it was a good idea taken a Legion conduit to such a place, he did know that she was not a Noble, right? She felt a cold chill run up her spine, this could not be good.

"Cais, where are we actually going?" She asked in a quiet voice, not really knowing if she wanted to know the answer or not. She held onto his hand to hold him back with her.

Humming gently he walked along with her with his eyes nearly in sparkles. Cais was looking forward to eating on top of the lighthouse and watching the water. Like Sara it seemed to calm him to be near, but with Sara his heart was pounding in time with his happy hum, he felt on top of the world.

Suddenly he felt her pull back for a moment and he blinked, looking back at her. "What's up? Think of something else to do?" He said with a small smile. Her words came out quietly and he felt a concerned squeeze on his hand. Turning back to her he squeezed back in a reassuring manner, smiling down at her.

"Don't worry, it's a place I know. My dad did some work for the owner so he's fine with me going in there. And though it's more like a tavern than anything, they make really great food." Turning his head he looked back, pointing at the old lighthouse with an excited grin. "Plus I got permission to go up on the top there, we can watch the ocean from that vantage point and then we don't have to deal with any of the patrons"

He felt proud of his decision to take her there. As he explained it he felt even better about it, knowing how romantic the view must be. "Sounds great, right?" He said, beaming.
