There are three problems I have with this profile, it has no real back story or real reason for her being able to enter the town. Let me elaborate, why does she just come across the sign? Everyone else who has traveled to Silent Hill has been summoned there. Either by being tied by the cult or the town's influence, namely what supernatural energy that the "God" has based on their guilt for a crime that is truly heinous. An example of such crimes are murder based on certain reasons, 1.) perhaps your character is like Eddie or Angela and killed someone based on their cruel behavior towards you, and you felt guilty for it, or perhaps you are more like James and have committed a crime based on stress and lust. It really has to be something heinous for you to follow that route in the main story, you would be hunted by the cult because they want your tainted blood. Of course, the reasons I listed above are simply examples, go with what ever you like if you choose that route.
Then there is option two: 2.) The cult leading you into town. This has happened various ways over the course of the series, however you can be much more creative with this choice then the first one and possibly makes you more important. However, it takes more reasoning.

A few examples of such incidences have occurred when Harry Mason entered the town with Cheryl drawn by the spell used by the cult, and when Walter locked Henry inside his apartment then became more vicious and hostile. Quite personally, there are several ways that the cult could attempt to bring you into Silent Hill, my character enters because he and his family are fleeing the cult and the cult basically sets them into a trap. Understand?

Sorry for this "too long; didn't read." but here here is the second point I would like to address, your character can't just simply see the monsters for no reason. The reason for seeing any of them consist upon your character's fears and other emotions, guilt, anger, and other influences can make them manifest. Now let me give examples, Alessa's traumatic hospitalization screwed with the town quite a bit, The Otherworld and monsters are caused by her being burned by the boiler in her house. The Otherworld according to Harry Mason's quote in the first game is this, "A world of one's nightmarish delusions come to life." The Otherworld differs from person-to-person, according to their emotions and fears, and thoughts. For Harry, the Otherworld consisted of basically Alessa's fears, not his, which could suggest that he was trying to chase after his daughter. For James, there wasn't really the same kind of Otherworld, he just saw darkness around him, a lot of the monsters for him are very sexual in nature based upon what happened between him and his wife, how he murdered her, and his sexual frustration. Picking how things look to you are completely optional.

Lastly, why would she be able to read the mind of the demons that she encounters in the town? Not only is that silly with no real reason to it, but she also shouldn't be able to adapt quickly to monsters she has never fought before, especially when they are really based on her phobias, and things that are going on with her. Maybe if you want to keep some form of telekinesis, or psychic power, it will be fine as long as it is limited, and within some reasoning of the cult.

However, the ability to read an opponent's mind is a godmodding ability also, which gives her an edge over monsters, not just normal ones, but the players who control a monster are also susceptible, thus it is unfair and not allowed. 3nodding Let me know when you fix these issues, and discuss ideas with me if you want, I will help you to brainstorm what you want in your character if you want to. Also, the video guide I posted inside the History of the town subforum is very informative, and useful for learning what you need about the series, check it out if you need another source, I warn you that it is very graphic in nature though and disturbing like the games.
