The festival had been a blast, but Astra knew that she would soon have to return home so she could spend time with her family, whom she had not seen since she had arrived at the academy. But before she would return hone, she decided that a visit to the maul was in order. She needed to make sure her mini's were well stocked with food over the break, and it was always fun to just walk around and window shop. The place had so many weird and wonderful items on display.
At current, she had found herself floating just outside a shop called 'Guillotines are us', a place which had deals on various equipment which looked nothing short of torturous and painful. It was a mystery as to what anyone would use the guillotine for. She had heard that they made great toys for kids, maybe it was a undead thing? She would have to ask when she got back to school

Only a week into school and Riyo had learned a couple of lessons all on her own.
1. She hated Shun. Not as much as Deacon but he was getting pretty close.
2. Dragons are easy to do business with.
and the most important lesson...
Don't hire gnomes to move your s**t.
They'd somehow managed to break into her office supply box, use up all her ink, and draw... Lewd things on all of her paper. Ugh.
Needless to say, it was time for a trip to the maul.
With hands in her pockets, Riyo quietly walked through the large building, her eyes open for a school and office supply store. She wasn't that familiar with this area... But it seemed like a lot of the kids from school were around and... Wait... Was that a fairy?
Riyo only took a quick glance before looking away. Honestly, she'd never seen anything so small, but that didn't mean she was going to say anything about it. Best to keep moving in case the ghoul caught her glancing.

As she was looking at a item called a 'iron maiden', Astra noticed something out of the corner of her eye, and she turned just in time to see riyo glance at her and continue to walk past. Her antenna then raised upwards while she struggled to think on where she had seen the cat ghoul before...
Ah! She was the one who was bleeding everywhere! And then she had squished her. Although...she was pretty sure it was a accident...hopefully
The fairy hadn't had a chance to talk to her afterwards, so she quickly flew off to track Riyo. However, feeling a little mischievous (as she usually did), she darted from here to there, keeping herself hidden behind shop windows and whatever she could find. She kept this up untill she was just behind the cat ghoul, then flew overhead and suddenly appeared in front of riyo, floating upside down. "Hello!" She chirped, grinning from ear to ear.

Riyo hadn't even recognized the ghoul... Considering she'd been out before Astra came flying around at the tables. Not like she would've said anything anyways.
The sound of quick darts did not escape the feline's ears, as she glanced around momentarily to check and see where it was coming from... Though nothing was ever there. What the hell?
And then, out of nowhere, there was an upside down face right in front of hers. Immediately Riyo jumped back with her claws out and tail frizzed, ready to rip her attacker into shreds if need be...
Until she realized it was that Jack damn fairy. ********.
"Whatever you're selling, I don't want any." The feline hissed, automatically assuming that the ghoul had followed her because she wanted to sharpen her nails and show her some new-fangled device or something of the sort. Standing back up straight, Riyo tried to walk off in a different direction, hoping this one would take 'no' for an answer.

Astra didn't think that her sudden appearance would receive a welcome reply from riyo, but to see the cat ghoul jump back looking as if she was about to attack wasn't something she had fully expected
It was, however, quite funny to see. Just as long as she was fast enough to escape any claw marks
"Selling something?" She then repeated when riyo said she didn't want anything, looking a little confused. Why would she be selling her something? Did they realy do that around here?
She didn't have time to figure it out, as the other had already began to walk off. "Wait! I'm not trying to sell you anything!" She flew after riyo, not jumping in front of her this time, but keeping up with her from behind. "I just wanted to say hi, and see if you were feeling any better" She didn't look too good last time she saw her

Oh Jack dammit, she was still following. They could smell pumpkin seeds in someone's pocket from a mile away.
Riyo was fully prepared to dart off like a mad ghoul to try and lose this new nuisance, but the fairies words made her slow down.
"What the hell are you talking about? I haven't been sick... And I've never met you before, either." She must've had Riyo confused with someone else... Though if there was another cat clad in Victorian-esque attire, she'd very much like to meet them.

"Yes you were!" Astra protested. "You had tons and tons of blood flying everywhere! It happened every time you saw someone without their t-shirt on! And then you passed out too" As to why that had happened, she had no idea. But hey, why not ask her now?
"Why did that happen? Did you have a really bad cold back then?"
As she followed, it seemed like riyo was slowing down to which the fairy was thankful for, so she floated just beside the cat ghoul as she walked. "And whats your name?"

Tons and tons of...
...
Wait a second.
Oh dear sweet Sally, she meant the festival. Stopping in her tracks, the feline facepalm'd and shook her head. "I had JUST managed to get the naked man image out of my head." Ugh.
"Yes. I had a cold. Lets go with that." Because it was much better than saying what actually happened.
"Why do you want to know?" Instead of answering the fairy's question, Riyo followed up with another one, tail twitching irritably behind her.

Watching the ghoul facepalm and her comments had confused her more, but for the moment the fairy didn't not question why Riyo did not like the idea of seeing a naked man. It wasn't that she had no modesty or she didn't find the idea of being naked embarrassing, but she doubted her nose would start to bleeding from seeing someone without their shirt on, boil or ghoul.
As for her next question, her antenna began to twitch and move of their own accord as she paused in thought. "Well I'd like to know who you are, and I'm also curious. Oh, And my name is Astra" It only seemed proper to introduce herself before she asked for someone else's name.

Nonono, there was no way she would risk warming up to somebody else. "Well Astra, I'm... Out of here." Riyo said with a mock smile, pointing in the direction of the office store she'd managed to spot.
Immediately her legs picked up speed, and her face dropped back to that ever-so-effective 'stay out of my way' look. Why was she having these problems with boils and ghouls bothering her now? It didn't used to be this way. When she had been a child wanting attention, everybody overlooked her as if she was too small to see. Now as a disgruntled adult, it seemed that everybody and their brother wanted to shake her hand and call her friend. Was there a sign on her back that said "Kiss my a**, I'm rich?"
Reaching her destination, the feline started looking for parchment and ink. The sooner she found it, the better.. Because Astra probably wouldn't leave her alone until she was out of sight.

It was true that Astra had no intention of leaving the cat ghoul alone, but she knew well enough that she was talking to someone who just didn't want to be bothered. At all. In fact she looked a little intimidating. Not as much as others she had met before but it was still there.
She did continue to follow riyo towards the office shop, but she was mindful to keep her distance save the other turned around and got angry at her. However once she was in the store, she watched as the cat ghoul looked around the store for...something, she wasn't quite sure.
"What are you looking for?" she asked, turning her attention to the shelves which housed different types of office supplies, some advertising 'back to school' items that appeared to be moving.

It had been anything but hard to spot paper in the store. It was, after all, office supplies. Grabbing a generic pack of paper and a couple notebooks, the feline's eyes narrowed at the continuing interrogation from Astra.
"Okay, I'll bite." Riyo started, turning to the smaller creature with mild irritation clear on her face. "Why me? Hm? What makes me so interesting? Do I look friendly to you? Be honest, because I need to know if I'm doing something wrong."

It took a lot of self control on astra's part not to just bolt or hide away as she turned to face Riyo, feeling as though she had been caught doing something wrong when the cat ghoul had turned to confront her.
"Erm...well" She didn't want to say that part of the reason was cause she had spurted so much blood, but the other part? "I'm just curious, thats all..." She then looked a little uncomfortable. "And..y-ou don't look friendly?" Judging by the question, the fairy assumed that Riyo didn't want to look friendly. Which wasn't to extreme, since halloweeners by definition shouldn't be looking firendly and would want to look mean and scary.Hey, she was tyring to make herself look more scary too!

"Good." Riyo immediately responded to the ghoul's... Assurance that she didn't appear friendly.
Moving towards the inks section, the feline eyed the different colors until she found the one she was most fond of... A lovely hue of red... Which was incidentally the most expensive. What could she say? Red really caught her eye. A bit hypocritical since she was adamant on using cheap labor, but she was starting to realize quality service came from quality seeds...
"Curiosity killed the cat, you know." Not that Riyo had room to talk. The feline was curious at her core, and.. It had gotten her in a lot of trouble before. "Don't you have better things to do than follow another ghoul around while she buys droll, unexciting items?"

The age old saying was not lost on Astra, as she had heard it many times, however, she always had a answer for this one.
"But satisfaction brought it back!" She replied with a grin, which quickly vanished. "Um...not really, actually. I've done most of the stuff I've needed to do, but I may get something to eat soon" She was starting to get a little hungry
"Do you want to go get something to eat?" She asked the cat ghoul
