If your looking to make a nice chunk of change this event might be worth your time : ) Basically were looking to advertise our guild, and yield in new members.
How to play
-Advertise the guild, and invite people to join. The users who join must post in the referral thread (this thread here) and state your username. Once they state your username, we give you a point. The memeber with the most points at the end of the referral wins : )
Prizes
-1st place = 2 mill in gold
-2cd place = 700k in gold
-3rd place = 300 k in gold
Start and End date
-August 1st to August 31st, 12 pm eastern time zone.
Things to know or consider when participating
-Try to keep the invites relevant to the guild. By this we mean, try inviting people who have an interest in art. Weather there artist, art collectors or enjoy anything art related. These are the types of people your looking to invite.
-How to invite people? You can advertise the guild through your shop or request threads, auction, signatures, profiles, chatterbox, pms or even create your own advertising thread. As long as they know when they join that they need to post your name in this thread for you to get your point.
-New members are welcome to try the event as well : )
Rules
- Everyone who competes in the contest needs to invite NEW members to the guild in order for the points to count : ) So if you recommended someone to the guild 6 months ago, I'm sorry to say there entry to the guild does not count towards the referral this month : 3
-No MULES This is considered cheating and will not be allowed. Anyone caught from this moment forward, inviting a mule to get extra points, will be issued a warning, and naturally you will not receive your points for that member joining. If you persist, and I catch you, you will be banned from this guild. This also applies for inactive members who just randomly return to gaia to post in your favor, or recently joined members who cannot be confirmed if they're really new members or possible mules.
-Please don't spam gaia. By this I mean, don't create a thread to pubilizise the guild in the forums unless its in the chatterbox. When you create a thread for this purpose in other forums its considered a form of spam.
-Remember the person you invite MUST state your username in this thread in order for you to obtain your point.
-oh and you can't recommend yourself X3
