User ImageThe sun, high up in the noon sky, beat down on Bashira furiously, and she believed that at any given moment she would melt where she stood. She needed to find a patch of shade or some other way to cool down soon.

Fortunately enough, it had not taken her long to find something to eat. So that was, for once, not on her long list of things to concern herself over. Taking a moment to slow down, she sought out others to ask if there were any lakes or rivers in the surrounding area.

A lone wild dog told her about a large lake that was a little ways away. Bashira nodded her head in thanks to her and headed in that direction. The pads on that bottom of her paws were cracked and sore from the long periods that she would walk along the terrains.

The dry ground from this place was hard, uneven, and hot, which didn’t make things any easier. She sped up her pace a bit, eager to reach the aforementioned body of water.
