Since Umbreon has a higher Special Defensive bulk, Curse increases Umbreon's lower Defensive stat, Wish for healing and general survivability, Protect if used the turn after Wish guarantees that Umbreon does get the heal from Wish, and Payback is a hard hitting STAB attack due to Curse increasing the Attack stat, as well as lowering Umbreon's Speed so that Payback's base power is 100 and not 50. It's a generally nasty combination. pirate mine has -curse -rest -payback -iron tail (i really am paranoid of rock pkmn) in successful battles umbre can take a couple hits, wake up, knockout the opponent, possibly take out another pokemon, then rest and repeat. i usually save him for last and when it comes down to it has reverse sweeped for me on several occassions. ...as long as they arnt running their own stat raisers...

A B Up Start in successful battles umbre can take a couple hits, wake up, knockout the opponent, possibly take out another pokemon, then rest and repeat. i usually save him for last and when it comes down to it has reverse sweeped for me on several occassions. ...as long as they arnt running their own stat raisers...
