Hinote emits a warm light from her skin. It is enough to light up a large room, but when she lights up, it is her whole body; it cannot be controlled to just a fingertip.
:Flaming:
With a snap, Hinote can ignite her finger tips with a hot blue flame. She can light easily flammable objects with it, and melt things like soap or candle wax, but the heat is not very intense. It will burn flesh, though.

Hinote's blood runs hot - very hot. Her blood is like burning oil.

Hinote can heal herself when in contact with water.

Evangeline
In her late thirties, Evangeline is a single mom. She is separated, but not divorced, from her own husband, and raises their son, Marcus. Evangeline has green eyes and dark brown hair, and pale skin.
Hinote is her daughter though - all hers. And she watches over her constantly. She even moved the family to a house just outside the academy so she could get Hinote on weekends and spend more time with her.
Evangeline is oppressive and controlling, and prefers to keep Hinote close. She seems to think she can be everything for Hinote, and so Hinote should never want anything else.
Theme Song for Evangeline
Marcus
Evangeline's son, a product of an unhappy marriage with her estranged husband. Marcus is a big, burly teenager that plays on the local high school's football team. He doesn't consider Hinote his real sister, and seems bitter about the attention his mom gives her.
Marcus has dark eyes and dark brown hair, tanned skin, and tightly coiled muscles. He's in fights at school a lot.

Evangeline's estranged husband. Looks like Marcus. Hinote has never met him.
