Willow was walking around outside on campus with her face firmly buried in a map. She was trying to test out one of her powers now that she was a teen and test the limits of it. There was also a hope that she'd get to meet a new friend while she was out there. She knew that other kids would be wandering about campus and that she might bump into someone new. She loved hanging out most of her siblings and cousins and her roommate Isolde but lately she'd realized she hadn't really made many friends on her own.
Plus she needed some to distract her from thinking about a certain bee boy night and day. Folding the map over in a certain way she traced a road with one of her fingers following the path that it made. She tried to think of what she had seen along that road the times she knew her mother had driven her along it in her car. She wished she'd paid more attention now since she could only think of a few stores. It was something she'd have to try to focus on from now on.

Aiden had wandered out to the front gate, mostly just to look at the outside world. She knew better than to ask for permission to leave. As she had mentioned to Moira, she definitely wouldn't receive permission if she wanted to leave by herself. So, she had decided to wait for one of the outings, but it didn't mean that she didn't still want to see what was outside.
Eventually she vacated the area when a few humans came into view. She hadn't liked them before, since they had looked at her weird and were mean to her friend Andy, but these days it was just getting worse and worse. She was on her way back to the dorm to see if Edmund wanted anything from the kitchen, since she was going to make herself some dinner, when she ran into Willow.
Well, not literally, but she did stop in the faerie girl's path. "Are you lost?" Aiden quirked a brow curiously. She remembered seeing this girl at the secret santa event, but perhaps she hadn't been around campus very much. Aiden was practically an expert at finding her way around with all the wandering she'd been doing. Except in the adult housing district and the hedge maze... the maze still brought up bad memories for her.

Purple eyes darted up from their previous target and focused on the girl who was speaking. Willow hadn't really noticed someone walking up to her since she had been so absorbed in her map. After giving Aiden a slightly startled look she broke out into a little bit of a giggle. It occurred to her that she must look a bit silly standing on the grass and studying a map. No wonder Aiden thought she was lost.
"Oh ah... no I'm not actually. Though I'm certain that's exactly what it looks like." Willow folded the map and put it under he arm so she could give Aiden her full attention. "I have a power that has to do with directions and I find looking at a map seems to help it." She studied Aiden a bit trying to place her better. Willow remembered seeing her briefly at the secret santa party and that Edmund had a friend with that name. "You're Aiden right? I'm Willow in case you didn't remember." Willow offered her a smile.

"Oh, that's neat." A smile came to her face. That sort of power seemed quite useful, especially if one ended up lost. "Yes, I'm Aiden. I remember, but I don't think we got to talk very much." She shrugged a little. It had yet to click in her head that this Willow was Edmund's sister. "Do you wander around often? I haven't found too many people on campus, though I suppose these days they'll be out more."

Willow chuckled a little about being asked if she was out on the grounds much. She spent a lot of time outside, in gardens, mazes, forests and lakes. Wherever seemed open and enjoyable at the moment.
"I wander around outside most of my free time if I'm not hanging out with family or my roommate. So unless you pop up random places around the grounds you probably wouldn't see me much." Willow tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she smiled at Aiden. "But yeah you're right, we'll probably see a lot of people that we haven't before. You're Edmund's roommate right?"

"Oh... it figures that I would have the luck to pop up somewhere after someone else has vacated." She smiled a little and shook her head. "I've been trying to find other students for weeks, it's very hard. But, perhaps I'm just missing them." She shrugged a little. At the mention of Edmund she perked up a little, "yes, I am," after another pause the connection clicked in her head and she adopted a sort of expression that said she'd just had a revelation. "Oh! You must be his sister. Edmund talks about his family a lot. It's nice to finally meet you for more than a few minutes." The smile returned, but lingered a little longer than before.

Willow smiled in return as Aiden made the connection of her to Edmund. "Yes that's right! I'm the third oldest, or second youngest, or oldest girl...however you want to look at it." Willow laughed at herself a little. Aiden must think she sounded totally bizarre listing those things.
"But um yeah Edmund mentions you a lot too. Mainly to me and Kei I think. It's nice to meet you properly too." Willow rocked back and forth on her feet, from her heels to the balls of her feet. She was feeling happy to be meeting Edmund's best friend. Edmund was possibly her favorite big brother in some ways. Willow thought that he was the one she most likely depended on the most. She hung out with Gavin and Kei more most often but she was close to them for different reasons.
"But if you're trying to meet people, maybe you should hang out in the common rooms at the dorms sometime. I know a lot of people end up hanging out there kind of randomly." Mostly Willow saw Theo, Gavin, and Sergei there but she'd also seen some other people sitting on the couches and hanging out too.

"You sure have a large family, it's just me and my sister... or well it was before she disappeared but I think... she'll come back...?" The last bit came out as more of a question than a statement, but Aiden really wasn't sure if Mira would ever return.
"I hadn't thought of that... well, I might have but there's something oddly... uncomfortable about sitting in a large room rather than just being outside. I don't know, perhaps I'm just weird." She laughed lightly, shaking her head. "I'll definitely have to try it out though. I'm sure I'm probably bothering Edmund, even if he's too nice to admit it. Since Mira left he's the only one I hang out with." She shrugged. She couldn't help but think that if the situation were reversed she wouldn't be bothered, but then again, she was herself and not Edmund.

"Hmm yeah I guess it is kinda big. I like having so many siblings though, and there's only one I dislike. But your sister disappeared? I hope she's ok..." Willow gave a frown. Randomly disappearing siblings didn't sound like a good thing.
"I prefer to be outside too though. Being inside just makes me feel all..." She made and indecisive waving gesture with her hands. "Confined I guess. As for Edmund, I don't think he's bothered at all, though he isn't the type to ever really say anything bad about someone unless they've mistreated someone legitimately. Still though, I think hanging out with you makes him happy, you're his best friend after all." Willow smiled broadly at Aiden.

"I think... she must be, otherwise the Elders would do something... right?" Aiden's confidence about the situation faltered for a split second before she forced herself to not dwell on the subject. Mira always brought up so many conflicting emotions, she did not need to start getting wrapped up in her own head at the moment. "At least you like most of your siblings though, that's always a good thing." She nodded a little bit.
"Yes.. confined is a good word, confined and yet exposed." She laughed a little, it was an odd feeling to say the least. "That's good, I would hate to be a bother to him."

Willow nodded and brightened a bit. "Yeah I'm sure they'd go after her if she was really in danger." Willow had to wonder if they even knew that Mira was missing. The Elders were a bit of a mystery to her, she knew they existed but they seemed strangely absent. It wasn't something she wanted to dwell on and she sensed that Aiden didn't want to dwell on her sister's disappearance either.
"Exposed hm...? I don't think it normally makes me feel that way personally. Though I guess it's not something I feel a lot in general..." She hesitated a bit, a sudden self conscious look passing over her face and her gaze dropped to her feet before looking back up at Aiden. "Well that's not true actually, sometimes I feel exposed but it's more around a specific person." Shaking her head slighting at what she perceived to be her own ridiculousness she smiled again at Aiden.

"Yes, exactly... they wouldn't let her get into trouble." Aiden nodded a little, seemingly regaining her confidence on the matter.
At the mention of feeling exposed around a certain person, Aiden smiled a bit. "I think I understand what you mean, I've felt that before, a couple of times." She shook her head a little. "Its a strange feeling, huh?"

It was somewhat relieving to Willow to hear that she wasn't alone in feeling that odd kind of feeling around certain people. However in general the topic was making her nervous, her stomach starting to feel like it was tying in knots both a bit pleasantly and unpleasantly. She brought he hands closer to each other and twisted her fingers together a bit in a nervous gesture.
"It's a very strange feeling. I don't really know what to even think of it at this point." Willow gave a little shrugging motion like she was trying to shake off all these thoughts she had buzzing in her head, much like a bee. Suddenly she found herself wanting to talk about something else. She liked Aiden so far and likely if she was good friends with Edmund she was trustworthy but still, Willow wasn't really completely ready to admit all of her feelings to herself, let alone discuss them with a girl she was just getting to know.
"Anyway.... if you want I could definitely make sure you meet the rest of me and Edmund's brothers and our sister at least. Also there is my roommate Isolde who is best friends with my brother Kei. She tends to like shopping and clothes a lot which...I don't totally understand but....Oh! I know the two of us should go shopping with her, I've been meaning to do that myself and have her help me pick out some new things." Willow offered more smiles to Aiden as she did some more excited rocking onto her toes. The idea of having Aiden with her while she went shopping sounded fun. Then Isolde would have two people to focus on instead of JUST Willow, Aiden could meet someone new, and Willow could get to now Aiden better. It seemed like a winning situation all around.

Aiden blinked a few times, nodding slowly. "Sure, that sounds like a lovely idea. I can't really remember the last time I went off campus." She grinned a little. Meeting a new person was definitely a bonus, and she did need new clothes...
"I'm pretty much open any time? I don't... really do anything these days." She shrugged a little. It had gotten preeeetty boring lately.

A bright smile spread across Willow's face as Aiden agreed to the idea. "Great! I'm free most of the time too really, I'll just have to ask Isolde when she's free." Pausing a moment, she began digging into her pocket to get her phone out before looking at Aiden again. "You should give me your number and I'll text you when me and Isolde are free after I get a chance to ask her." She glanced back down at her phone as she typed Aiden's name in and then moved down to the line for entering the number before looking back up at her new friend expectantly.
