Mau Village is the home of Elizabeth Bishop and Raphael Giletti, who were transported from another dimension to this one.
The Village itself is traditional. The people make their huts up in the tree tops to keep themselves safe from predators and those looking to ransack the village. As such, there are bridges from home to home. You can often find Beth in the largest hut sitting at the top of the tallest tree.

Beth awoke with a jolt. She wiped the sweat off her forehead and calmed her breathing. Her dream, what was that? Why would she see such images? She wouldnt let it bother her though.

A messanger arrived at the top level of the tree carrying the invitation to the wedding going in that one country I dont remember the name of. In her time as queen, Beth hadnt really worked on public relations that much, and this seemed to be the perfect time to get her nation out there. "You have the throne until my return" she said to her advisor and left the tree palace.

After her long journey, Beth made it back to the palace. As she entered the front gates, the guards snapped to attention and sounded her return, "Relax guys, you know I dont do that formal stuff", she said waving them off. She made her way to the throne room and told the guards there that she was heading to her room, and to direct any visitors to her there. From there, she went to her chambers, and there it was...the bed from the hotel. A wide, childish grin grew on her face as she jumped on the mattress and rolled around in the covers, getting herself wound in them, much like a cacoon.

Beth sulked into her bedroom, completely ignoring the guards and her advisors. Her usually lively tail drug against the floor and her ears drooped down on her head. She got to her bedroom and sat on the bed, just thinking. Why would he push her away and run off like that? Especially after that whole love spiel he put on.

Ignoring the guards as they questioned him, it wasn't long before they eventually recognized him as their Lord, each of them fumbling over their own words as they each found creatives ways to walk away. This must've been Elizabeth's room. He tried to gain whatever courage he could before entering... before he had to explain all that occurred... but he couldn't help but feel like an idiot, no matter how hard he tried.
Eventually, perhaps even after Elizabeth already noticed him, he stepped into her hut... and stared at her for the slightest of moments, with a strained frown on his face. He had to remain a man. He could not... act with emotion. ''...Elizabeth... I..." He wanted to say alot of things but could say none. He wanted to do alot of things but could do none. All he could do is stand there, at the doorway, looking as much as a fool as he really was.

He felt stupid for basically admitting that he, at any moment could have a violent outburst or an outburst in general, but there was nothing to be gained from lying. If Elizabeth wanted him, if she liked him, then she'd eventually learn to deal with it. If she was afraid or... turned off... then there was nothing he could do.
''But I... I left her outside because I trust you more than anyone right now. Without her I am weak -- vulnerable -- but that doesn't matter. I like you... so much... and I don't want you to feel like I abandoned you... or that I lost interest in you... ever again." Finally, he stopped seeing Elizabeth purely as a woman. It wasn't a matter of gender to him, anymore. He didn't need some petty idealistic view of "finding the right man" to set him away from what was before him. And no longer did he believe he had to "endure". There was nothing to endure with her. She made him happy. And that, to him, was enough.
Setting aside the fact that she may have been upset with him... he walked over, and sat next to her on the bed, trying hard to smile, though all he could feel was disappointment. In himself. ''This is just the first time I'll be sitting on this bed, eh? If you don't yet hate me, I want you to know that I will -- more than anything -- commit to this relationship. I want to live with you... here... all I ask is if you want to live with me, the same."

Beth fought back tears as the man before her spilled his heart on the floor for her. It was obvious it was hers for the taking, all she had to do was pick it up. She thought about the sword for a few seconds and decided that she'd just have to live with it, like an annoying mother-in-law. Beth looked at Raphael as he sat next to her. She smiled more and more as he spoke the last part of his speech. Beth snuffed her nose then softly said, "Yes, this bed is as much yours as it is mine." The feelings that next overtook Beth were foreign to her. She leaned in, opened her mouth a bit, and pressed it against Raphael's. As she kissed him, she put a hand on his chest and pushed him back on the bed, following as he fell.

To be doing this... to be held by her... it felt natural. He did not resist when she kissed his lips, and he returned this kiss, with just as much emotion involved... maybe... maybe even more. When she pressed him against the bed, he wrapped one of his arms around her back, the other against her waist as he kept his eyes closed, savoring every moment with her that he could. When the time came, when he felt like he got all he could from the kiss, he let go of her back for only a moment, slipping off his shirt to reveal his toned chest. It was obvious now... that in this moment and the moments that followed... something was going to happen. And he didn't doubt, even for a moment, that he would experience nothing but the silent sense of acceptance, as each moment passed.
He enjoyed it. He really did. And he loved her. Maybe more than he knew.

Staring at Elizabeth's chest, his cheeks lit up with a strong shade of pink. ''W-well... then..." He smiled as the girl removed his belt, finishing where she started as he took off his pants, though there was still a pair of briefs remaining -- separating whatever was behind them from "air." At the same time, he kissed her neck as his arms rubbed along the side of her ribs, feeling arousal as their chests touched. He wasn't put off by this... at all. It seemed that they were both questioning their actions, but he knew neither of them would ever want to prevent them from going further. When Elizabeth's skirt sat on the floor, and when Raphael felt a slight bulge, that changed from "slight" to "great" over time, he passed the time with only a kiss on her cheek as he knew what would soon come. ''Am I... taking this too far... Elizabeth? Are you... okay with this?" The man asked, looking her in the eyes as his heart rushed in his chest.

As Raphael spoke, she had stripped both of them down entirely. Beth nodded at his question as she laid on her back. She then opened herself up to him and then.....[Fade to Black]
A few seconds About an hour later...
The two laid in the bed, under the covers. Beth rolled over to Raphael and purred softly into his ear, "I love you." she then kissed him on the cheek and dozed off for a nap.

Smiling as he wrapped her body around his own, he kissed her on the forehead as he caught her words... knowing that he felt the same. ''I love you too, Elizabeth. I always will."
But when she fell asleep, he knew that he could not join her, for that wasn't something he was capable of. Stepping out of bed -- lightly -- and dressing himself back in his clothes from the night before, he stepped out of the hut and grabbed Roxanne, sheathing her behind his back, as he always did. He left her a note where he was laying before his leave, and just as it mentioned this leave, it told her of his soon return.
''Alright... I guess I'll see you guys later. 'Specially you, Elizabeth, if you can hear me. Back to the Citadel it is, for me." Wings springing behind him, he took to the skies, and eventually, to the citadel. (exit)
