Creates division, blinded in visionSo, there's this guy... I don't know him personally. Actually, I don't think I ever talked to him. But he's friends with my best friend's friend (o.o wow, that's even confusing to me...) And actually, all I know about him is that his name is Will....
But I have an extreme bitter hatred for him. :/
But I have a good reason:
A while ago, my friend said that Will kept threatening to kill himself.
And.. let me see... Like FIVE TIMES he said he was going to do it... But he's still alive TO THIS DAY!!! -_-
Now, why this bothers me so much:
My boyfriend, whom I was with for 4 years, ACTUALLY committed suicide. And the last words I ever heard from him was "I'll see you tomorrow. Love ya!" well, I DID see him... lying on the ground in his room surrounded by his own blood ._. But those weren't his last words, he sent me an email telling me how sorry he was. I do believe him, I don't think he wanted it... but.. well... he was suffering... so, maybe it's better he be gone than suffering, right?
Anyway, my point is, I've dealt with a loss from suicide. And this guy is FAKER!!! I absolutely HATE people who do lie about that!!! Sure, the first two times I was like "WTF?!" but then he did this FIVE TIMES!!! Possibly more... and I don't see why I should feel differently... I hate anyone who fakes a suicide, ESPECIALLY more than once. I think it's obvious now why... stare
Seriously, suicide is a serious thing, and if you're not gonna do it, just don't ******** say you will... at ALL... idgafs what you're going through, if you're thinking about it, talk to someone, if you're gonna do it, think about what you're doing first, if you're not gonna do it, good, JUST DON'T THREATEN OR SAY YOU WILL!!!
*ahem* Sorry, I had to rant... Anyway, so... am I wrong for hating this guy? For all I know, he could be nice. But I don't know, I've never met the guy online or in real life... but still... I can't help but just get mad at or hate someone for lying about this..... .-. Raging like the wave, crashing to its place

Well, let me give you my spin on this. I personally dont know this guy, so he might be a faker. but me personally. I have TRIED to kill myself seven times (This was a long time ago when I was unstable because I was a teenager. Then I grew up) I failed everytime because I got scared. I could not kill myself. But in my defense, I did not announce it to the world what my intentions were. So you hating this guy is perfectly justified. he is looking for attention and nothing more. If I knew him, I would walk up to him with a gun and hand it to him and say "Put one in your head now and spare us all this crap. If you dont do it now, STFU for the rest of your life and grow the F up" So I am siding with you on this by hating him. Sorry, probably not much in the way of information, just my opinion of the matter

I'm with Lost Smile on this. He could truly be suicidal and suffering as your boyfriend was but just too scared to seal the deal. Or he could just be some attention-seeking fool. I've also heard of people threatening to kill themselves if the person they are with wants to leave them, and thats the lowest form of scum. Either way, its annoying that he's making false claims, so go ahead and hate him until your given reason to feel otherwise.

I truly think hating him is a waste of your time. If he threatens to kill himself, report him, and be done with it. The person is obviously dealing with something: either truly being suicidal or other problems. If he really isn't part of your life, then why care what he does with his?

Creates division, blinded in visionMhm, and my friend's always complaining how he "cuts himself" while talking to them over the internet... -_- And he announces it, like he'd say "Ugh there's blood on the keyboard" stare And from my experience with my boyfriend, and reading some books about this topic, it's something you want to admit. I only knew about my boyfriend with this because he wanted to secrets, but i could tell he was ashamed and didn't want to tell me. :/ I just think he's a complete fake. Raging like the wave, crashing to its place

Creates division, blinded in visionI don't think reporting him will do anything. It's not something to get banned for.. Plus, it's not on Gaia. it's on this other site called Meez, and I never talked to him. I've seen my friend talk to him, but I never have.
And I care because if you read what I said, my boyfriend actually did it, and it's pretty offensive that someone would lie about it because their fake life sucks e_e (trust me, I know this guy's a fake. I've heard his stories, it's all bullsh*t.)

I have a friend, who kinda has this obession with girls, everytime he breaks up with one, he goes all crazy and emo and threatens to commit sucide. @_@ It gets annoying but this time, he got overboard and said he was gonna kill himself. He hasn't logged on for 2 days, but I dunno..maybe he did it..maybe he's being an a$$. Or he escape to find more girls on Facebook and gaia..:/

Scrounged in desire, raging like a fire I understand that you are offended by his actions because of your boyfriend's suicide, but other than that, this person isn't in your life. There are hundreds of people out there that fake all sorts of things. Its fine if you hate him, but it seems that you can put your energies somewhere else if this person is not a friend or otherwise part of your life. Ignore him and be on your way.

I think it's important to distinguishing "hating someone because they're someone," and "hating something someone does."
For example, I hate it when my friends tag me on photos that don't have me in it on Facebook. But does that mean I hate them because they're being them? No, I just hate the specific action that they do. Unfortunately, what they do (habits, predisposition towards certain things) make them who they are; so there's a degree of give-and-take.
But that's from a friendship/relationship point of view, on with your case.
Hypocrites are annoying. Even worse are people who say things just because they're craving attention. What makes it suck even more is that, some people do it unconsciously or have some very, very ridiculous excuse for doing so.
Do yourself (and the guy) a favour: the next time he does that, just say it. Something like "I don't appreciate your constant talk about suicide, because my boyfriend committed suicide and succeeded even without telling people about it. Please stop saying that you're going to commit suicide if you're not serious, and if you are--go and get some help because just talking about it doesn't solve anything and will just make you seem like an attention whore."
The least it'll give you, no matter what the results are (his successful suicide, or not), is your peace of mind.

It sounds like you're in a lot of pain and haven't healed yet. You're taking your frustration out on a guy who technically isn't even around.
That said, go on hating him. You're not going to run into him so what actual bad will come from it. Your hate maybe more than Nessecary but he isn't a role model by any means any way.

Kick this guy REALLY HARD. You have permission to aim there.
I'm pretty suicidal, and I (rarely) tell people when I feel like killing myself, but "those moments" are always left for myself (I've never actually said it aloud, bwahahaha). I don't care if he means it or not, this guy is just throwing his friends through turmoil to see what they'll do, either to make himself feel better, or purely to screw with the people who care about him. Grade-A JERK.
