Matthew was home. Matthew was okay. Well. That was saying it quickly. Matthew was as okay as someone bruised like a peach, who had a broken rib and needed to have splinter of woods removed from his face could be.
But the matter was that. He was home. She and Gently had made sure of that. He was home, he was safe, and she would bring him energy to hasten to recovery.
But first...
This was a very bad idea, and if she had been of a logical mind, she would have been the first to say such. If Painite hadn't been able to overcome the eternal that had ruined their night, then what chance did she have ?
But right now, she was too enraged to care. The senshi had once again gone too far, struck too close to home, and she wasn't going to take it.
She would find the b*****d, break him, and claim her vengeance.
Through if another punching bag showed up in the meantime, she wouldn't mind too.

They'd told him the streets were more dangerous than he'd ever known, but Greg wasn't the sort to scare easily. No, he was going to be a senior in high school in the fall, and his curfew during the summer had been extended from 10pm to Midnight, in light of his new maturity. Of course, Greg had yet to be granted a car, but that was fine.
The night was clear, and he was confident with his new power. You see, Greg had recently met a talking cat, and while it hadn't been able to cover everything [and it would've been boring to sit through it anyway. Regular cats were bad enough!], he knew enough to handle himself if any of those so-called 'Negas' showed themselves.
Greg pushed greasy, dark hair [okay, maybe he needed a shower, but it was summer!] back from his forehead as he squinted ahead. He'd taken a short-cut through the alley behind a pizza parlor, and up ahead...
Just a chick. Nice.
An easy grin appeared on his face as he sauntered closer, hands shoved deep in the pockets of sagged jeans, until--
"What the ******** the ******** was that? It felt all wrong. Was that what the cat had meant when they said 'aura'? s**t. She'd seen him. Her knives were shiny. She was tiny, though! And hot.
He could totally take her. What was it he was supposed to say, again?
"JABBERWOCK POWER, MAKE-UP!"
God, that sounded gay.

Unfortunately for him, this was perhaps the stupidest thing he could have done. As Greg, he'd been only a passing blip on her radar - civilians were the last thing she cared about.
But then he henshined, so close to her that the stupidity was getting painful, and when his aura flared to life, she gave him a second glance.
At first, she was inclined to let him go. Let the stupid erase itself from existence, but then it hit her - this was the very thing she needed.
Stupid.
Clueless.
Utterly, completely new.
If this didn't draw out the rat she wanted, then the senshi were even bigger heartless monsters than she'd dared to think.
"You'll do." She said, and then she closed the distance in between them, forgoing the throwing aspect of the knives completely.

"What? Do what?" Maybe he was just a tad thick. Luckily, it wasn't just the newly minted Sailor Jabberwock's head that was thick, but his arms, too. The muscled young jock didn't hesitate in closing the distance. If he got ahold of her, he could hurt her, and he knew it.
Crush that tiny little body, until she begged for mercy. A repressed, half-laugh gurgled in his throat at the thought, and the senshi hoped his gloves would be thick enough to swat the knives away. Maybe he could even break her wrist.
It didn't even occur to him to shout his girly little magical attack. s**t, he didn't need it. Look at her.
A low shout, and he charged.

He was underestimating her.
It was easy to see in his expression, in the way he rushed to meet up with her, in the laugh he couldn't quite keep from escaping - which was only met with an unimpressed snort from her. It was always something that enraged her - being taken as something lesser because of her height or her overall physique.
As if she needed to be even angrier, really.
If he thought he could crush her that easily, well, he had another thing coming.
They met halfway, and she first thing Fluorite was... to keep going ? Yes, she used her momentum to slide below the height of his arms, and get behind him.
It was where she spun, trying to slash at his back.

Jabber hadn't seen that coming, and it was probably a good thing, as he wasn't fast enough to halt his momentum. Instead, he kept going until he tripped over his own foot, falling and missing a nasty slash to the back by mere centimeters.
As it was, he could feel it drag along his uniform, putting him into an adrenaline fueled panic. Rolling from his stomach to his back, the jock shouted up at her, kicking at her leg in an attempt to stop her from approaching before he could scramble back to his feet.
"Are you ******** crazy?!"
Maybe he had been a little too quick to write of those Nega folks after all. There were supposed to be way more good guys around. Where was one now?
"DUDE. BACK-UP? YOU OUT THERE?" The shout was an attempt, as he couldn't quite remember what he should be doing.

Haha... Yes, he was perfect.
The miss was annoying, but it happened. The bigger they were, the harder they were to stop while in motion. His reflexes just hadn't been fast enough to work at her advantage.
,,,Could he not sense the damn auras at all ??? Yes, there were a few senshi around... But none of them seemed inclined to come. At least one was busy with a youma, and unfortunately for Jabber, that was the closest one.
How unfortunate.
"This can be over very quickly." She said. "Or you can make it harder for yourself than it need to be. That's up to you." She seemed confident to the point of cockiness, but the rage under her words was impossible to disguise. "Do they really teach you nothing before unleashing you on the world, or are you just especially moronic ?"

He'd only powered up for the first time three days ago. There wasn't exactly a school for beginning senshi. Ignoring her taunting for a moment, he glanced around, slowly backpedalling. It was beginning to sink in, that he was in over his head.
Hands came up, in defense, as she followed, and he shook his head slowly. "Get what over with? This s**t? Fine, chick, you win. I give up. Can I just go now?"
Her next slash of the blade would catch his forearm, tearing the skin and spilling his blood onto the concrete. His eyes caught her, and he realized, suddenly, violently, that he was going to die.
She was going to kill him.

Actually, Fluorite had another plan for this senshi, through... his death wasn't completely out of the question.
Either way, it wasn't going to be that easy for him to get out of this. Nope. Normally Fluorite didn't toy with senshi like this, but tonight was different.
Tonight had been the day they at struck at one at one of the persons she held the dearest to her heart. It was only fitting that she did strike back.
She didn't even bother to answer him - instead she rushed forward to knee him in the gut. Better bring him to a more manageable level, yes ?

Jabberwock was nothing short of pathetic, now that every bad movie he'd ever seen was racing through his mind. His air fled his body as her knee took him by surprise, dropping him to his knees and causing him to wheeze.
That's when the blubbering began. "I give up, I give up, okay? Don't hurt me, lady." He seemed to waffle between anger and fear, as he panted. "You crazy b***h, don't touch me."
He could feel them, now, as his fear heightened his senses. There was someone nearby. Would they come nearer? As their aura faded, heading the opposite way, he gagged, swiping an arm toward her knees.
Maybe he could destroy her first.

"Maybe if you'd asked more nicely..." Her voice was basically dripping venom.
He was slow - it was all too easy to simply jump over his arm. These were the times she wished she had shoes - to promptly stomp the b*****d's hand. But then she realized that might have meant fighting with heels, and suddenly she preferred her footwraps.
One knife was relocated to her sash, and she caught him by his hair, then. Oh, gross. When was the last time he'd even showered ?
"Let's play a little game. It's really simple, I think even you'll get it." She yanked hard. "I beat you up. You scream. I have a rat to dig out, you see..."
And what better bait that a newbie getting the tar beaten out of him ?
"If he comes, I'll let you go. Simple, yes ?"
She raised her free arm back, moving to smack him in the back of the head - thankfully with the tip of the knife handle, and not the blade. Clearly her aim was to harm him, now.

"... Wha-?"
Jabberwock understood the game, however, he wasn't very good at it. Call it too much bravado, or something, but he wasn't a screamer. He was, however, a shouter and a ********>." His head was on fire, the pain amplified by his inability to pull away, his hair wrapped around her hand, tight. He wondered if there was blood, briefly, how she could be so strong, yet so small.
"WHERE ARE YOU?" There it was, the scream. The undeniable shout for help. From someone, anyone.

That was more like it.
Fluorite kept a good grip on his hair, as disgusting as it was to her bare hands, and kept a look out for the auras. A few normals. An eternal, but there was no way to know if it was the eternal she wanted.
She tugged a little harder, through wasn't really keeping attention to him anymore. It was her turn to under-estimate him, and if he had a chance of escape, it was probably now or never.

If there was anything he'd learned from high school sports, it was to take advantage of others. Her attention slipped from him, and Jabberwock wasn't quite stupid enough to let the opportunity pass by.
It was also at this point that he remembered that he had his own power, as weak as it was. The senshi of brutality could increase the force of his own muscles by just a bit.
"Jabberwock Man Up!" The shout was coupled with a twist and pull, bracing his foot against the ground and using it to push himself away. He could feel his hair, almost hear it, tear at the roots and his propeled himself in an awkward stumble-run down the alley. Would she be able to hold on? He hoped not. If he could only hit the end of the alley, he was sure he could get away....

....What the ******** ?!
Her hand outright reeled back when he broke free, jerked back to the here and now. What ?! ********, must have been his damn attack.
Well, she wasn't quite done with him yet.
She threw what locks had stayed in her hand, then leaped after him. Fluorite was strong, thanks to the negaverse power that ran through her, but perhaps what made her truly deadly was how agile she was.
And how small she was. She could slide through a lot of places that others wouldn't be able to reach.
She leaped to the roof, and was waiting to him at the end of the alley, a brick in her hand. He passed her, and then she threw it, aiming for his legs.
If she could ******** break at least one, then he wouldn't be able to run anymore.
