Once again Harriet found herself venturing towards the Library however this time instead of simply wanting to go to her usual spot, get herself comfortable and then spend hours simply browsing the selves of the library ingesting any and every line of text she found remotely interesting, today she had purpose. She knew her natural ability as a Druid already placed her at a fairly decent level of experience for the classes taught by Professor Cadmus, Botany Basics, however being naturally curious in regards to knowledge and the gaining of she wanted to do a little self teaching but on the sidelines also to feed a burning desire of hers to try and grow a few varieties of camellia, the flowers, she had to admit, were terribly pretty though one species in particular drew her attention; Camellia.sinesis; she wanted to try and produce her own tea.

With a goal in she by passed the school text books, which seemed to be grouped near the selves closest to the door, which had always suggested to Harriet that most students simply wanted to come in grab the books they needed to simply pass their exams and then run out again. She had already browsed through the compendium compiled by Professor Cadmus of all the medical and useful herbs and plants which she found partially interesting but it would not help her today. She buried herself away into the shelves heading for her usual spot where a winged backed leather chair had been strategically placed snugly between two bookcases and not far at the end of that row of book cases was a small alcove in the wall of the library where a small function work desk and an old wooden chair was placed; it made a good place to have a cup of tea whilst continuing to read. She paced her cane against against the side of the desk, her battered looking leather satchel upon the desk and then turned about and began to stride down an aisle of bookcases she'd not yet inspected in hopes of finding something useful.

To anyone who knew him, finding Sheridan in the library should have come as no surprise. The dragon journeyed to the library nearly every day, scouring the shelves for books he had not read, searching for texts that struck his interest. Some days he found a book, others he did not, but always came back to continue his search.

What might have been more of a mystery was the infrequency with which he seemed to come across his fellow 'bookworms'. Whether it was the differences in their class schedules that kept them apart, their interest in different subjects, or simply a tendency to get lost in one's own search and fail to notice others, well it may have been a combination of all of them above. It was entirely possible they were often in the library at the same time and simply had not been aware of each other.

Today he was searching a section of the library he rarely did, venturing from his usual choices of physics and astronomy to the texts on biology, plants in particular. Surely one of these text would help with his homework? And yet no matter how many books he scanned through, he had not yet found what he was looking for.

Hmmm...maybe he was going about this wrong way.

Harriet found that books of a particular nature seemed to react in different ways, well the more active ones anyway, not all books flew about the heights of the vaulted ceiling of the enormous library, the more time she spent here she found some books seemed to like to run about in collective groups, some hissed and snapped at any attempt made at trying to handle them, others were bond in such an alarming fashion that it general put the thought of even wanting to know what their pages contained. Here in the aisles more focused on botany books seemed to clamber up the bookcases in the most comical manner as they seemed to sucker onto various surfaces and then shimmy their way up the bookcases or others seem to cuttle in disjointed moves across the floor like bugs. Not all books of course were animated and generally the ones Harriet focused on where the static sort.

It was as she rounded a bend and was to head down another aisle that a book came shuttling about the corner in hot pursuit of another which snapped open and shut in a rather threatening manner that Harriet had to quickly jump over the books in order not to get snapped at. Physical attributes were not something the young reaper possessed however and as soon as she leapt the two books she landed strangely, her ankle giving and she half fell and half grabbed the closest bookcase to stop her falling right down. In was in this position that she saw another student browsing the shelves, she muttered half to herself and half to her fellow student, 'There should etiquette or behavioural classes taught to these damn books.'

The dragon had been much more interested in the book he was looking through than whatever was going on around him. Or maybe it was that many nights trying to read despite the cat of evil had taught him to tune out distractions.

It was a thud against the bookcase that caught his attention. His tail twitched, looking up from his book to find the source of the commotion. Someone had run into one of the bookcases? Or maybe she had tripped.

Either way, he didn't recognize her, was she new? Must have been, surely they would have crossed paths by now otherwise, if only in a classroom.

"You'll have to take that up with Professor Malcom I think."

Harriet found her feet and with a little support from the bookcase she pulled herself up, now standing up right she brushed herself off, straightening her skirt and pulling down her green tank top over the top, she flipped her scarf over her shoulder and out of way and finally arranged her glasses upon the end of her nose in such a manner that it suggested the only time she actually needed them was when reading a book, looking down her nose at them held in her hand though of course she had a knack of looking at most other things is such a manner also. Her hair was a wild mess of ginger nut orange hair upon her head but that didn't seem to bother her much. At that point she turned her attention upon the boil whom had just spoken to her. 'Professor Malcom, hm I'll have to remember to do so at some point.' She absently looked down the path the books had scurried off in and then turned her attention back to the purple toned boil.

She wasn't particularly interested in the boil himself but the book he had in his hand was rather interesting but then he was in the botanical section of the library and such matters interested her. She knew she herself didn't really liked being disturbed whilst reading and thus left the boil to it. She walked passed him a few paces and then noted a spine of one of the large hard backed books that looked promising and drew it out from it's location on the self and rested it in her right hand whilst she thumbed through it with her other.

His tail twitched, looking through a few more pages of the book in his hand before setting it aside on one of the nearby tables. The volume had seemed promising, but didn't quite contain what he was looking for. Or maybe it was that botany really was not his area of interest and thus he was having a hard time finding a book that could capture his attention. Honestly he'd have much preferred a book on physics or astrology, but alas neither of those would help him with his botany homework or Professor Cadmus' class.

And so with a sigh, and a somewhat irritated flick of his tail, Sheridan continued along the bookcase, searching for that one book that would catch his eye. It was starting to seem like a lost cause, how many books had he already looked through?

Hmm, maybe this book? His steps had carried him closer to the ghoul, his gaze turned toward a book on the shelf with a green binding. It was hardly a large book, perhaps no more than 200 pages in length, still it seemed interesting enough for him to pull it from the shelf and look through the pages.
