I love it! I makes me think that music is always on your side. Literally, because it's tattooed on your side. And figuratively because music will never judge you.
I want to get a music related tattoo as well, but I can't get any until I'm 18 because my parents will not give consent.

That looks a lot like a tattoo one of the senior clarinets got my freshman year, just yours is more complex and hers was on her lower back. hers was just a straight music staff that exploded like that, with notes coming out.
