To start, Ryan has led a pretty charmed life compared to others. His father is also a canine shifter and his mother knew about it so they were prepared for the birth of their shifter son. In the womb the puppy would change from form to form. This caused some great discomfort for the mother and would also lead to some medical problems in the future. Luckily, they really didn’t blame the boy. They knew the risks when they were trying to get pregnant and prepared for it. Luckily during the birthing process the baby stayed in a human form. And life was pretty good except for his mother having to go back and forth to the hospital and back. As it turned out, his mother wasn’t as healthy to start with having tumors popping up in her brain. So Ryan’s father took up raising the boy mostly by himself. And life was pretty good. Problems with his father only started to prop up when the boy started to become a teenager.
It seemed that the boy’s father had territorial issues while in shifted form and an up and coming young male was a problem. Even if it was his own son. Fights had broken out with out warring. The first time when Ryan was thirteen. Perhaps it was the smell of him going through puberty. They both knew that he couldn’t stay any longer. So when the boy was fifteen, he went in search of a pack. Luckily the next town over there was one that suited him very nicely, Joslyn. Perhaps it was because they were all canine or that Ryan didn’t really want to look much further from his home. (Which he still visits from time to time) Eger to prove himself, Ryan tries to please everyone around him.

___He is very clumsy. He tries very hard to control his long limbs in both forms. ((He being probably one or not the tallest one in both forms in the pack)) But he really isn’t very dominate. There are times he still acts like a puppy.
