There were very few bags to carry as Pepin stepped off of the express and onto Amityville Academy school-grounds. From her side of Halloween town it was hardly a day's trip and to be finally attending the school? Well let's just say the glitch ghost was a level beyond just plain thrilled. Words no forum format could ever process without error. This was how she felt. A flicker or two and she was able to verbally express a portion of her excitement when she nearly dropped her belongings. Redensek, her Vocalepus clung tightly to her shoulders which were thankfully tangible enough now that she was on official property. The walk wasn't terribly long infact the ghost hardly walked up the path to campus at all. Hovering into its grand halls she set her suitcase down now and let her mini walk freely beside her.
"Listen. We have SO. MUCH. TO. DO-" each word was accompanied by a long strip of data in her body going off center. "We gotta set up. Get registered. And meet. EVERYONE." As if it really cared or even understood, Red simply nodded its head. The only thing it knew was that it was going to be responsible for making sure her home was plugged in and not running out of batteries. Finding her way out of her laptop after shutting down improperly was a huge ordeal that typically involved a lot of frustration. There was a reason there were SEVERAL dents to the device's casing.
"Oh but.. first where the bleep is my hall??" Pouting, she sat indian style and rested her face on her palms.

She had a plan.
It was well thought out, easy to follow through, and involved nothing but being friendly. It was becoming second nature to fake that shine in her eyes, that caring glint, and today's carefully scheduled activities would be a bright example of just how good she was at it.
Riley was standing at the doorway to the main hall, greeting new students as they came in. No one had asked her to do this, and no one had done it before. Thus, it was the perfect example to show the voters just how much better she was than any other, currently sleeping, slothlike candidate.
She had just finished chatting with a large fellow, instructing him on the location to his dorms, when the monochrome ghoul arrived and walked past them, into the halls. Riley fell silent, watching her talk to herself, and subsequently the unique bodily changes that had occurred. Riley's head slowly tilted all the way to one side, before she swiveled to try and catch up with the ghoul.
She had never seen anything like her before. And that meant the hive had never seen anything like her before. She was an anomaly, just as Malodore was, and being the first to send back information on a new species was a powerful thing.
This could be exactly what she needed.
Excuse me. Riley called out, lifting her hand to try and catch the ghoul's attention - and suddenly, a fleeting memory of a ghoul shooting the cannon at Floresctival reminded Riley that she had seen something like her before. She had seen her, more specifically, during that festival. But she was still a high commodity, as she was new information. And new information to be processed meant stature.
May I help you? My name is Riley, I believe we briefly met at Floresctival. Are you new here?

We talked about this, Andeon was clearly exasperated as he cradled a fussy Idgit in his arms. The little Cthulhu rubbed at her eyes and blew out her tentacles in an angry raspberry. She had tried to sneak out twice that morning to go and see Cam, and the overprotective Illithid was not having anything of hers touching the only thing on that campus he found worth adoring.
I don't care if he gives you presents. It means he only wants one thing. I should know. I give presents all the time, and I only want-
Andeon paused suddenly, as what appeared to be a floating bundle of amazing legs, butt, and boobs. He checked her face as an afterthought. It easily passed inspection.
-that. I want that. Maybe she'd like you as a present.
Andeon began to stride towards that floating apparition (which corrupted his thoughts, at least, if not his files), but his attention was suddenly stolen away by a familiar mental voice approaching. And where there was that voice, there was a Riley. And as her campaign committee so vigilantly promised; where there was Riley, there was a way.
A way to annoy the Jack-loving s**t out of her.
While Riley had perfected the art of playing nice, Andeon had not yet bothered to try.
It was a good thing Pepin's chest was glitching, or Andeon would have had a great deal more trouble keeping his eyes where they belonged. The potential verbal and physical abuse was not worth a two second shot of cleavage followed by some physical response. What he assumed would be the appearance of some kind of large black censor bar. Instead, he merely lifted Idgit up to set her upon his head, and sidled up beside Riley.
Oh Riley, please, allow me. Andeon placed a hand above his heart and bowed deeply. Idgit squeaked softly as she went tumbling off, rolling to a halt just beneath the glitching student, You have so much to do, running for Student Council and all. I will be happy to show this lovely young ghoul around the grounds.

There it was again! That voice from the Florestival. Only the highest level of crunk could generate this sort of octave. Disregarding that it belonged to the body of a fairly feminine Illithid. Pepin certainly recognized her and upon her kind and generous offer replied with a smile-
"Hello hello! Hi Riley, my name is Pepin Molyneau, yes I was indeed at at at Floresctival and I just enrolled yep," she could hardly contain her resurfaced enthusiasm. Red had to skitter away a couple notches. "Anyway I'd really appreciate some help I'm looking for the ghosts' hall? I brought aaaaaall my stuff and I just wanna set it all up!" Standing once more, the short ghoul reached a hand out to shake the other's when something- no, someone caught her eye.
OooooooooOOooh....
MMmnnn...
A long, sensual moan emitted from her luscious, plump-
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>stomach
After a brief moment of ectoplasmic indigestion the glitch felt herself hovering after picking up her suitcase again, Red reaching out with a short arm to keep in touch with it. After all, it was her house.
"I'm sorry are you two related by chance, Riley?" Curiously she leaned closer in Andeon's direction as to get a better look at the boil.

Oh, good merciful hell, her voice sounded like the way her music sounded coming from her eyePod when it skipped while she was running. It was glorious. Riley immediately moved to help her with her bags when it happened.
Oh, no. She could barely contain her agitation. She rolled her eyes when Andeon's body was lowered in a bow, and briefly wondered if she could get away with knocking him over and carrying Pepin off before he could stand.
The answer was no.
That is a very generous offer, Andeon, but since you are new here as well, it would be my honor to take Pepin for a more thorough, in-depth tour. After all, I don't even think you know where the ghost dorms are, to start with. Perhaps you need a tour of your own.
She sounded sickeningly sweet, which of course just ended up sounding scathingly bitter in the end.
But thank you so much for the thoughtful gesture. We should be fine.
She linked arms with Pepin, and turned in the brief and vain hope that she would walk away quickly and ignore the other Illithid. The question knocked Riley slightly, and she blinked while trying not to shudder in disgust.
No. We are not related. Shall we?

Andeon seemed thoughtful for a moment, surprisingly silent as he weighed Riley's words, and more importantly, their meaning. An Illithid never truly said what they meant, but Andeon was fluent in their shared language of Convoluted Bullshit. As Idgit slowly climbed up his tentacles like King Kong scaling the Empire State Building, Andeon gave a slight nod.
Of course, forgive me. I am just so thrilled to be here, you know. I'm just eager to share the thrill of Amityville, I hope you can forgive me. But, his cheekbones rose in a grin as he lace his arm with the one Riley had not claimed, As you so very brilliantly pointed out, I could use a tour as well! I would love to join you ladies.
If Pepin does not mind, of course?
As though on cue, Idgit stared from Andeon's head with the widest puppy-dog eyes any Cthulhu could manage. She even somehow got her tentacles to quiver just enough to seem like a pout. Oh, Andeon had trained her well.

Pepin was easily fooled by Andeon's show of charming intellect and manners. The feeling in her tummy by now had settled. His presence was like milk and honey. Or maybe ginger root. Probably the latter.
"Isn't this delightful, Redensek?" Pepin chirped back at the mini trying to hand on tight to the now swinging suitcase. "Absolutely I don't mind at all all all." Idgit need not put forth any more effort as the glitch ghost gave the Cthulhu a kissy face then swung her arms. She felt like VIP on campus with two strong, handsome Illithids escorting her around.
"So Riley, Andeon, are either of you Hobs?" She asked curiously. It seemed more than necessary to find all her seniors, Lizzy being the only one she was sure of so far. "Are there many ghosts here? I remember there were so many at Open House.. but are any of them here? When can I start signing up for cl- cl- classes?"
Redensek climbed up on top of the suitcase as not to dangle precariously while the giants paced above it.

Andeon's presence at Pepin's other side made Riley want to rip his skin off of his happy little face. Her nails itched for it. A private thought was uttered, meant only for him to hear. It was a short, hissed, Go away, she's mine.
If Riley had peacock plumage, it would be displayed in full intimidating pattern right now.
Of course, because life is nothing but levels of cruelty, Pepin seemed overjoyed at the idea of taking the tour with Andeon at her side. Riley's free hand clenched into a fist, but her face remained otherwise unmoved. She leaned forward, and took Pepin's suitcase from her hands gently, before shoving it not-so-gently into Andeon's chest. Well, so happy to have you join us, Andeon. Since I know you are such a gentleman, please, won't you carry Pepin's bag for her?
Yes, she asked this after shoving the bag into his arms. She moved back to her spot beside the ghoul, and began leading them directly to the ghost dorms. I am a Knob, actually. Riley answered proudly. And you may start classes immediately. There's no time to waste, after all. We are currently in our holiday session, which means many students are away on vacation - but do not let that deter you! I can assure you there are still classes being held, and students to become acquainted with. Such as myself, and our dear, sweet Andeon here.
She leaned her head slightly to give Andeon an affectionate expression, while privately murmuring something to only him.
I hate you.
