Emelia had been watching her for a little while now. The girl was close to her own age, and she wasn't a human like many of her peers. She was like herself, a majin, just...yet to succumb to the lure of right out eating a heart. Still, the girl had a certain charm about her, that spark. She didn't seem to be like some of their kin, getting close to others. She was a good student and stayed out of trouble...maybe. Honestly Emelia wasn't that much attention. She was just curious. It never hurt to try and gain an ally early on.

"Good day there." Emelia was smiling, sitting in the cafe on the corner market, a bowl of fresly cut fruit uneaten in front of her. A cheshire smile on her face. "Care to join a witch for some mid morning tea?"

Aquene stretched her arms above her head as she walked towards a cafe; she had passed the Grave of Fairies not too recently and was waiting for her official day of becoming a witch. Step by step, she was getting closer to what she wanted. The one thing that she had been lacking was someone to look up to. Specifically, a Witch Eater to look up to.

She peeked inside of the cafe window, looking for something to buy that wouldn't cost too much money, but could still be counted as a celebration item. It hadn't occurred to her that she had been watched by a woman for a while. Once she heard the woman cry out to her, it was then she noticed and felt something... Odd about her. Aquene couldn't tell what but was intrigued by the feeling. It was still odd, however, that a total stranger wanted her company for tea.

Hesitantly, she agreed. "Sure, Miss."After she sat down quietly and took a quick glance at the food in front of her, Aquene didn't hold back her question. "Do you need something from me?"

Emelia 's faked the most innocent smile she could muster up. The need to keep her wings hidden anoyed her. Ah, well, this was the city. No doubt one little sighting and eveyone would go into a panic especially after the little stint with the Lich. Personally Emelia wanted to meet the one who did that. Really, quite scene maker and show stopper. A worth while thing to investigate. A later time however. Right now- "I dont really beat around the bush here darling." the innocent smile shifted in an second. "You're majin aren't you?"

She leaned back and drank her tea, one hand motioning to the girl's glass. "I thought it might be nice to have a little majin to majin chat is all."

"So that's what it was..." It was uncommon that Aquene would get an odd feeling around other majin. She hadn't talked to many of them, but she wanted to; she wanted to spread the desire for more Witch Eaters. It was her honest opinion that she felt as though they were very much under-represented. She nodded at the woman openly. "I guess each majin can kind of sense each other, huh?"

Aquene looked at the glass and picked up it. She smelled it, enjoying the smell of tea; it was very much a calming sensation for her. She took a sip and put it down again as she wondered what the lady wanted to talk about.

"Sure... I guess. I'm open for talking..."

Shrugging Emelia took another sip of tea. "More or less." Setting the glass down she ran a finger on the rim before adding another spoon of sugar into it. Sweetness, she could never get enough of it. "Most days I avoid this place, but recent events got me interested. More noticeable the case of watch eaters on the rise." Pink eyes looked at the fellow majin cautiously. "Tell me, what do you feel about them? Do you think that in general they're all terrible, that surely can't be the case."

Testing the waters, Emelia didn't want to end up being outed by a slip up. "After all, most of us majin can act perfectly normal heart eaten or not, can't we?"

When Aquene heard the words 'witch eater', her face flushed a deep red and her golden eyes grew wide and filled with a clear desire and anticipation. That word... She lived on it as well as for herself to find her mentor. She had been looking down at her tea, playing with the cup, as if nervous when she responded. "No, she said clearly to answer the woman's question. "I-I would never think of them that way!"

Her voice got close to a yell when she said that, and she sunk deeper into her chair, wondering if other people were listening in to their conversation. At this point, her whole face was a bright red and couldn't look into Emelia's eyes. This time, she lowered her voice, to a mere whisper. "Those Majin that choose not to become Witch Eaters are the true terrible creatures of this Earth!"

She was a little bit flustered now, angered slightly by the question. Her grip on the cup was so hard that she lost control of her power and ended up setting it on fire with her cold flame, freezing the cup and tea.

The smiled Emelia had once so seemingly harmless took a feral turn. If teeth had been fangs she would have been a perfect image of a monster like those who feared and hated the majin oft said. "Then my dear, you're one of mine."

Sipping her tea, the sugar could be seen at the bottom of the cup, unable to dissolve in the hot liquid any further. "I am one of those who lives free of the foolish notion we are meant to hide. We are living creatures born with this nature, cursed with it even. What makes us so wrong?" She poured herself more tea from the kettle. "Nothing little witchling. Absolutely nothing." The cold flame had Emelia's smiling, reaching over to tap her new friend on the shoulder. "Calm yourself though, for us, the last thing we should do is draw attention." Another sip of her tea. Ah, it has steeped too long and no amount of sugar could solve that. A tiny pout and the cup was set aside.

"Has it been difficult for you, with the newly rising security?"
