Lily yawned and walked down the hall to Alex's room. He'd been staying for a a few days and now that he was sick it was best he stayed until he was better. She knocked and waited for him to answer before slipping in to say goodnight.
She moved over to his bed and sat down. "Hey Alex. Xander told me you were really tired and needed some rest, but I wanted to come say goodnight" she said with a soft smile, placing her hand on Alex's shoulder.
She hoped he would be okay while she snuck out for a few hours. All she had to do is sneak out the back and get a good distance away from her house before she powered up. No sense calling the youma right into the neighborhood. Being an eternal wasn't exactly a piece of pie.
"Are you going to be alright. I think I need to turn in early," she said hoping he was too tired to think she wasn't feeling well either. That was the case, but not for her 'turning in early.'

He had indeed been coddled, and shuffled into a quest room. He didn't mind though, he understood the reasoning perfectly. He didn't want to get Lily sick, hopefully he hadn't already done so. He'd feel guilty if he had, he didn't want to share his suffering with her.
Rolling his head, as he was laying perfectly on his back, to face the door and more importantly Lily. "Yeah...really tired, feels like I've run miles without a break." He stated, his voice sounding tired and worn out. He really was, and last night though fun hadn't helped. Maybe he shouldn't have snuck out for that walk? He'd heard about that when Lily had woken in the middle of the night to him not being in his bed.
"I'll be fine, I got water here and I'm comfortable. You get a good sleep." He said, giving her a weak but still light and happy smile. "I'll get better soon enough." His parents had already been called and told he'd be staying here till he was well. He was planning to see if energy stealing would help him beat this flu. It was worth a try, right?
Reaching up, his hand snaking out from under the bedding, to fall over his mouth and cover up a wide yawn. "He had the normal standard sheet over him but also a heavier blanket. He was cold, a fever. But he wasn't cold enough, yet, to warrant a heavier blanket. "Have a good sleep Lily."

Lily sighed shaking her head, "I wish I could do more to help. I really do not want you to be sick Alex. Its not fun and I bet you plants are missing you. I promise to check on them tomorrow for you though."
She rose from the bed giving her friends at pat on the shoulder before heading to the door. "You sleep well too," she said pausing at the door before slipping out closing the door gently behind her. She was suddenly very grateful her room was closer to the steps than Alex's which allowed her to close her door and keep going right on down the steps and out the back.
She took off in a sprint, henshin pen in hand, mint crystal bouncing about her chest. She need to get at least a mile away from her house, she did not think she could be felt that far, but better safe than sorry. So she ran, the whole way out of her neighborhood and down the long street with house spaced as they pleased. Further and further until she reached a main street and ducked behind a few large bushed to power up.
In an instant, she was Sailor Maia and she took to the roof tops to continue on.

"It's fine, you no miricle worker. I'll be fine." He hoped he didn't wind up in the hospital like some people were winding up. He doubted that would be his case though, it seemed more something for the super young or the excessively old to be fated to. "That would be nice, I'll write out care instructions and things to look for. I don't need pests forming." That would be bad. A pest on one plant could easily spread and infest nearly all, if not all, of his plants and destroy them. "If you see any spiders in there...I kill them, but if you want...you can release them outside somehow." But he didn't allow them into his greenhouse, or rather he didn't permit them to remain once he spotted them.
Watching her leave he smiled. Shifting around to get comfortable. It seemed impossible though. He was just miserable, and being miserable made him even more miserable. It was an endless cycle he wished to break.
Finally he gathered himself and threw his bedding off his cold body. It was time to do something about this, or try to. If he didn't try he'd never know if it'd help. It was with a whole lot of difficulty that he made his way out of Lily's house, right out the front door. Down the walk, hoping he wasn't caught in the process of leaving, he let himself walk down the block, shivering the whole way. God damn fever. Cursing, mentally, he finally figured he was far enough from Lily's house that it was safe to change.
The second time he'd done it, on his own, and it was easier and his outfit just as stylish and comfortable. It was warm also, the turtle neck doing a lot in the way of warmth.
Time to see if energy would help a cold, and if not that than the tiredness at the very least.

Maia frowned when she felt the other sort of just appear like a blip on her senshi radar. It wasn't a youma, that was certain, so it was a negaverser. Unfortunately the nega wasn't that close and not only that he was behind her. She would have ignored the nega if said nega wasn't far to close to her neighborhood for comfort.
She turned and headed back in the direction she came perfectly content that she would not have to travel far as the other was headed in her direction.
Sure enough it didn't take long to spot, him or her she wasn't entirely sure, but it mattered not as she jumped down from the roof top to land just in front of the negaverser, who she could now see you was boy.
"You are out very late," she said with a curious glance," surely not getting up to something you shouldn't be?"

He'd felt them coming, something that set the airs on the back of his neck straight up. It was a mental 'oh s**t' and he tried to pick up his pace to find somewhere to get to. He didn't think trying for roof top moving would be a good idea, and trees were also out of the question. His balance was nill, and falling from a roof or a tree wasn't a good way to start things off. Not to mention Xander and Lily would notice a broken bone or two, he didn't need the questions.
It was then that he realized he had no where to go, they'd get to him no matter what. He was slow, tired, and not able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. So with that in mind he continued on ahead, best to meet them head on when he had no other options available.
He was not however expecting them to jump down in front of him. Perhaps worse yet was the butt wings he'd been told about, lovely. An eternal senshi, fun.
"Seeing as I don't have a watch on my person I can't agree or disagree. Not to mention lateness is based on your opinion on what's late." And just to disagree... "I'd say it's rather early. Of course not, looking to enjoy the evening and wake up a bit." He stated, trying to cover up his tiredness, his weakness right now. Though his cheeks were flush and his eyes a little on the glassy side.
"I could ask you the same thing, though I wouldn't lower myself to being so cliche and sounding like a cop on a tv show." He stated quite cooly. While he spoke he was looking around, wondering if he could get away, if he could muster enough speed and balance to get himself somewhere and hid and change.

Maia looked at the other and frowned at his words about waking up a bit. Had he been asleep all day or was he just tired. She wasn't really paying much attention to what he was saying as she looked at him, really looked at him.
"I hardly think I could ever sound like a cop, not that it matters. Are you feeling well, you don't look so good," she said approaching him, though he wasn't really looking at him. She was looking at him with such a curious expression and frowning slightly.
She walked right up to him and brushed aside his bangs putting her hand to her forehead. It was probably the weirdest thing ever for him and she fully expected to be smacked away, but still she wanted to know and she doubted he give her the truth. Surely the negaverse wasn't making their side fight while they weren't well. Surely they weren't?

No, they weren't at least as far as he knew. He'd come out looking for energy to see if it would help his condition and help his side even if he was ill. Watching her come toward him, eyes darting around and flickering to her every few moments, he was shocked by the simple gesture.
She was...checking on him? That didn't make sense with what he knew and he didn't trust her all that much, really he didn't trust her at all. He didn't know how she attacked. Slapping her hand away, glaring at her. "Don't touch me. I'm fine."
He'd be fine, hopefully, if he could do his job and help himself while doing so. "You should busy yourself, and not with me. I've things to do which are far more important than dealing with senshi." He knew better than to turn his back on an enemy, common sense. So he took several steps backward. His heels clicking ever so lightly on the pavement. His hand reaching for the paintbrush he carried, just in case.

Maia frowned, "for the love of all things. I was just checking your temperate. You do not feel fine to me, so I doubt that you are no matter what you say."
Her frown deepened at his words and her arms crossed as he started to back away from him. Her look turned rather incredulous and she huffed, "I am not going to attack you," she said each word punctuated. She shook her head, "that's what you think isn't it. That what they tell you that we are the bad ones, that we are going to attack you, hurt?"
Her gaze hardened and her hands moved to her hip, "Well?"
She huffed again obviously rather annoyed, "the negaverse is so deluded."

"It's good to act paranoid when you know you have a target on your back." He stated, calmly. Really he didn't need to be held up talking, he wanted to get what he'd gone out for. It looked like he'd be here for a while though.
"And considering a certain incident I heard about, in a very minor way, you wonder why I'd trust you - a senshi?" He questioned, scoffing. He finally settled on the only real option. Taking off across a lawn and hopping a fence. From there he'd take off, as fast as he could.
"I doubt they hand out arm bands saying 'good alien' or 'bad alien' If they do your forgot yours tonight." He said calmly, all sarcasm present though. "And I don't see a dark mark either, but no indication of goodness either. So forgive me if trusting isn't one of those things I subscribe to in the case of senshi."
That said he made up his mind and turned, as fast as he could, and took off for the lawn the sidewalk he was on was attached to.

Maia frowned once more and shook her head, "I am quite sure you do not have a target on you back, if you did that would be like wearing a kick me sign. Not only that I never asked you to trust me or the senshi, but you hardly gave me the chance to prove myself trustworthy either have you?"
She who was normally all smiles kept her frown in place as he called her an alien, she could feel her brows furrow at the insinuation, only have one lifted in utter confusion a moment later as he mentioned a dark mark and then took off running.
"Hey, get back here," she called out going after him for a moment, then stopping and taking a stance to attack. "Sweet Harmony," she called out the music filling her and her song spilling from her lips. Lovely translucent, rainbow colored notes filled the air before her and took off at the other like a spinning tornado intent on freezing him up.
Quite frankly Maia wasn't sure what it would do, the reaction was always different and it also depended on how a person felt already. She'd seen negaverse become completely unable to move, other falling all over themselves like they were under the influence and even those who practically fell asleep.

And risk having any trust he might show come around and bite him in the a**, no thanks. Not an idea he favored, ever. Let some other idiot trust a senshi, and see what happens. With what he'd heard, and knowing there was no 'I'm good' sign on one he wasn't taking chances. Not to mention they didn't belong here, this wasn't their planet.
Clearing the fence, with some difficulty, he wasn't expecting the attack and didn't see it, his back to her and the fence between them.
Tired, and sick, plus given what his normal reaction was likely to be, he toppled right over asleep. One hand reaching out above him, bent at the elbow, paintbrush in his hand. The other not quite at his side, but close, legs spread a bit, and thankfully his face was not pressed into the well tended to back lawn. His head had turned to the side, so he could breath at least.

Maia jumped the fence and headed over to other. She was rather surprised to see that he was asleep. Okay, that never happened before, which meant she was probably right about how he was feeling. Her must have been overly tired, that or sick.
Negaverser or not, Maia felt slightly bad for her not entirely warrented attack, she felt even worse that she couldn't wake him until a full minute past and she she knelt beside him turning the boy over and removing the paintbrush from him hand, though she simply let it lie on the ground.
She shook her head sitting fully on the ground next to the other, pulling her bow from her hair and wiping the lawn off his face and clothing, turning her bow an icky shade of green.

Or both, which was the case. But he was well and truly asleep. But being that her little attack didn't last but a minute, he'd be awake soon enough.
At least the green wasn't on him any longer. He'd have likely tossed a small fit of some sort over that. Being dirty, in good clothing, was not something he embraced. He might garden but it wasn't in his best clothing, let alone this form, and even then he was careful about his clothing. He'd never minded his hand and arms getting dirty though, the clothing was the thing which mattered.
When he did rouse he groaned and slowly opened his eyes, staring at her and scooting back quickly. "What did you do?" He didn't like the idea that he was on the ground, waking up, to her next to and above him. He'd moved too fast, the world spun for a moment. One hand came up to his forehead to rub gently, while he closed his eyes to give things time and stop the spinning going on.
Couldn't he get away and find a way to help himself?

Maia's frown returned when he woke and scooted away from him, she was about to scold him but then he was rubbing him head and Maia sighed. "I did not hurt you, but I did attack you. In attacking you I did learn one thing though. You were lying. You aren't fine." She moved over to him again and took him hand away from his face to get a good look at him.
"Hold still," she said quickly, taking the bow to his face again and wiping away the rest of the dirt before releasing him and moving back.
"I do not know what sort of crazy notions they have put in your head, but I will tell you this. I am not an alien. I was born on Earth, in Destiny City, and I have no intention of ever leaving, not that I have a choice in the matter."
She sat back and looked him over, "oh and please do not run again, you do not look as though you can handle it and I can stop you all night long. So the truth now, why are you out when you are obviously not fit to be so?"
