It was friday, and Toki realized one thing. She forgot to set a time for when she would meet her possible new friend.
Well, s**t. Was a real disappointment too, because she really would have enjoyed talking more with the purple haired female. Mentally shrugging, she made a note to still go to the blue moon... and pray for the best.
it was easier than usual getting inside this time. Wearing some clubbing gear, heels, and a bit of light make up usually did the trick. Her outfit consisted of a pair of tight jeans, boots, and a loose red tank top. Her hair was pulled back as always... it gave her a more adult look.
The bounce waved her past easily, only glancing a little at the fake ID. She was not sure if it was a good thing or not, but hey she got in. She waited for a while, ordering a soda to start with. Glancing over the crowd she also noticed one thing, if Ashley did show it would be hard actually spotting the girl... she was rather short.
Shrugging, she stood up from her chair (Which was immediately taken a second later) and made her way for the bathroom.

The lack of time hadn't detered Ashley at all - she figured normal clubbing hours, and had taken the time to get ready - make-up, heels, clothes, the whole damn dealio. Anything to put the odds on her side. Witjh all that, she arrived a few minutes after Toki did.
No, it wasn't the lack of given time that was blocking Ashley. It was the damn bouncer. One again her height did her in, and she had the turn back when he threatned to call the cops.
Damnit, and Toki was probably already inside waiting for her ! Grumbling, she stepped off... Until something occurred to her. She carefully slid her way to the side, and sure enough...
The high little window to the ladies' room was open. Not something Ashley could ever dream of reaching, but...
Fluorite wouldn't have a problem with that. And so she powered up and scaled her way...
...Sliding through the tiny window and landing right in front of Toki.

Lucky enough for the both of them, Toki was the only one in the bathroom at the given time.
She was standing in front of the sink, washing her hands looking in the mirror when a noise caused her to pause, and fling herself around. Hands still wet, she looked back at Fluorite with a predators gleam in her eyes. That was..... until she caught who it was.
Now THAT caused her to frown... and stare. Slowly lifting herself up from her crouch, she kept herself on guard anyways. She remembered this woman... her outfit... her hair. Yes... This was someone whom was with her near the door, before they entered the rift. She could not recall the captains name off the top of her head. Walking over.. Toki grabbed a hand full of the womans shirt... and dragged her in to one of the stalls, closing the door behind them. It would not stop anyone from listening, but it would get them out of view... if anyone decided to walk in.
Thank god the stalls were large.
Leaning against the door, she crossed her arms. "What are you doing here?.... Did i intrude on one of your hotspots?" Some of the negaverse was picky about where they collected energy.... she did not know her at all. It did not even occur to Toki that this was Ashley.
Yet.

...Wuh oh.
This could be bad.
"Nothing to see here, go along..." These aren't the droids you're looking for, as her brother would say. But of course that didn't work. She could have easily broken out of Toki's hold, more than easily in fact, but she didn't want to hurt her... So in the stall she went.
Sounded like the moment of truth, really. There was definitively something knowing in the older girl's gaze. Then she started asking about hotspots and she still had to be cautious. Until Toki said something that made her certain... She couldn't power down. "No, no." She said. She looked very odd - powered up, but the make up was still visible, and her hair was still up.
"Someone's waiting for me in here and the bouncer was being an a*****e."

She could not help but sigh, and shake her head. "Normally this places bouncer is not that thorough... he let me in no troubles." Nodding a little she gave a shrug and a eyequirk.
"Another is here? Besides us?" She did not see another negaverse agent wandering around....
"This must be a energy farm huh?" Still not a clue if she was senshi or nega, still hinting that Toki was SOMETHING but.. not exactly what she was.
".....Are you going to farm while here? I guess it would be bad for the bouncer to see you again inside. But i guess your friend could cover for you."

Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice. It was now pretty certain that Toki was more than met the eye, but still not enough of a clue to be comfortable powering down in her presence.
"No, this is my night off. Kinda. My friend... doesn't know that im... you know." She couldn't even begin to pretend she was a senshi, so she didn't try. "I just powered up to get inside. I don't know if others harvest here a lot or not."
Now there was no other choice, she had to know. The hints wouldn't do. "I see no reason to make trouble here unless a skirted b***h shows up to ruin my evening."
If that didn't get a reaction, she wasn't sure what would.

"Hhhmmmm... i dont know. They can have their uses you know...."
A pause, followed by a grin. "Either it be energy or a starseed. Im certain they have their uses.... im not picky. " Toki was a fighter anyways.... and fighters did not mind a opponent joining the fray.
"So, if i may ask, Who is it your here to meet..." She looked up for a moment, remembering back to the Rift door. "Captain?" A lot of them did not know their civilian identities, so it made a whole lot of sense.

Well well.
The answer seemed to make her comfortable enough. Well, more comfortable than she'd previously been, at least. A senshi... wouldn't know her rank right off the bat like this. Not while she didn't have her weapons unsummoned. Not while they weren't powered up.
There was the off-chance she'd recognized her and felt her before, but...
"Well, that depends." She said. "Who do I have the pleasure of meeting right now ?"

Toki guessed it was a fair trade, she was after all playing interrogation herself...
She guessed it could not harm anyone to know her civilian identity. After all, this woman was on her side. If there was a senshi powered up in such close proximity, the other officer would have probably warned her. Shrugging the brunette reached a hand out. Pink eyes shining bright as midway through the offering to shake, she shifted into her captains uniform. A uniform made up of browns black and golds was now visible.
The captain shoes just made her shift down a little bit height wise. "Captain Fayalite, what might your name be?"

It was a good thing there was not a senshi to be felt. Or that no one was coming into the bathroom.
"Oh... I know you, you were at the door..." Through she'd been a lieutenant then, hadn't she ? She remembered, loosely, if only because the girl's pink eyes had caught her attention. There had been so much crap going on.
"Im Fluorite." She obviously knew she was a captain, and saw no need to drive it home. Then it did hit her, and she could only laugh. "Good lord, you're going to love this..."
And that was when she finally powered down. Where Toki had gotten shorter with powering up, Ashley quite obviously got taller as she powered down. "Well, that's one hell of a way to start the evening..."

She nodded offhandedly Lowering her arm back down. Her mouth was open to reply about the door... or name... or something or other.
But her jaw being slack was a good enough gesture anyways, once she saw the other captain power down, and who it was.
Her mouth in a "0" shape for a moment, it quickly turned into her closing her eyes... and busting out laughing. "WELL i guess that...." She powered down again as well. "Explains that. Oh lordie and here i thought you might have been some senshi b***h that i crossed paths with before."
Stepping forward, closer to Ashley, she Opened the door behind her so they could exit the stall.
"I'm guessing im the company then? Unless you invited someone along." She tilted her head upward, crooking her arm and offering it to the other female.

When Toki laughed, she couldn't help it - she joined along. It did wonders to dissipate whatever nervous energy she had left, really.
"Nah, im not all that fan of miniskirts. They're tacky." She took the offered arm almost playfully. "Yeah, you are. That was... an odd string of events, that."
How likely was something like that to happen, exactly ?

"If not now im certain one day we would have stumbled across each other and put two and two together. Better earlier than later?" A smile played across her face as she lead the girl out of the bathroom and on to the bar. Luckily enough, apparently the whole places female populations bladders had held out...until they left. Making a quick turn around, she saw three woman dart through the door.
"Miniskirts can be nice, but i find it a bit tasteless to show off your a** that way. Skanks, the lot of em." She shook her head with a dramatic sigh, with another chuckle. Why were the senshi always looking like their tailors ran out of fabric?
Toki spotted a pair of seats near the bar.... noticing that someone else also saw them. Picking up the pace a little, she glared her way in to making sure the pair of them kept the seats.... the human ran away to look elsewhere.
"So, what do you like?" The music in the background was booming... and the whole place smelt of sweat and booze. Typical friday night.

"Yeah, we probably would have figured it out sometime..." But right, better sooner than later, right ?
When Toki had spotted some seats, Ashley let her work her magic. She wasn't exactly an intimidating figure... At least not like this. Through she couldn't help but crack an amused grin when the two other girls scampered off.
That's right. Their seats~
"Hm, should probably start small..." She didn't want to get completely and utterly wasted, after all. So a rum and coke it was.

Ironically enough, Toki herself looked to be thin and not that intimidating if you side glanced. What made her look confident and larger than she was... was the look she would give with her eyes. Almost like DARING someone to start s**t.
Once upon a time ago Toki would have a fear of places like this... filled with people. She was not a really social person. What being in the negaverse had taught her was to get over being surrounded by people.. and either concentrate on herself or on those she wanted to be around. Maybe it was the power within her giving her confidence, maybe she was just getting over her fear.
"I find the trick to being able to drink more... if to eat first." Food in the stomach meant the alcohol took more time to get into your system. So, she ordered a pomegranate martini, light on the alcohol to start off, and some cheese sticks for them to share.
Yes... Toki loved her food.
