Gender: Male
Age: No idea. Looks about 16 or 17.
Faction/Race Ghost
Natural Ability: Chill of the Hunt: Once they have a scent, a Barghest can track down whoever the scent belongs to--even if they're ghosts!
Personality: Caleb is a young, mischievous excuse for a ghost. Though he knows absolutely nothing about the world he lives in, that doesn't stop him from eagerly adapting and learning just about everything he can when it comes to scaring, and being frightening. His enthusiasm unfortunately also applies to when he meets new people--if they seem skittish, or not particularly strong-willed, Caleb automatically labels them as prey and will harass them whenever an opportunity presents itself. On the other hand, those who are strong and confident are seen as other predators, and Caleb is more than happy to try and make friends!
As a pack creature, Caleb would much rather be in a group than off on his own, and will eagerly be attempting to put a 'pack' of boys and girls that he can run with, causing mischief and mayhem! Unfortunately, he tends to think very highly of himself, and is prone to rule-breaking. He's cooler than the rules, guys. Too cool for school. Except, you know, not, because he wants to eat humans one day.
Because of his big ego, Caleb is prone to taking insults and failures a little too personally, and is not above bullying someone in order to make himself look better. It's not because he's spiteful, not really--he's actually just a jerk, and doesn't even think about the fact that other people have feelings, too! Basically, he's a dumb boy he doesn't think about these things. Oh, and if he has a crush on someone? He's totally going to make fun of them until they cry, because that's how people know you like them, right? Right...
When and if he does decide to be kind, it's generally a very rough sort of affection. Like, if he's doing someone a favor--he'll usually comment by saying that whoever he did the favor for owes him big time. Thankfully, he's easily distracted, so he's not likely to collect--or hold long grudges.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Caleb was 'born'--or found, anyway--within Halloween Town, and has entertained thoughts of running wild among the Human World with a pack of Barghests in tow. He wants to be the scariest ghost that ever haunted (and hunted!)) humankind, and hopes that he can inspire terrifying legends about himself and his kin.
FEAR: Baying Howl - A soul-piercing howl that causes the target's muscles to lock up with...well, fear! Some might even flee in terror if they aren't particularly strong-willed. The sound is extremely loud and unworldly, like when you know the T-Rex is about to explode out of the trees in Jurassic Park and it's time to GET IN THE CAR.
Physical Description: (This may change when his art is received, as I am allowing Orestae to do whatever she damn well pleases. <3)
Eye Colour: Bright, burning red.
Hair Colour/Style: Black hair, short and spiky in the back with longer pieces in the front. Duckbutt hair.
Skin Colour: Black.
Clothing Style/Colours: No idea. Colors would be black and red, and I could see him wearing a variety of clothing that would make him look 'tough'. Skulls, spikes, chains. He wants to look as frightening as possible--even if it's not very practical. He's young and stupid, and thinks he's the baddest bad thing that ever badded.
Extra: Canine teeth, possibly ears/tail?

A chilling howl filled and overwhelmed the administration building. Faculty and students alike froze up in terror, not even daring to glance around. The sound faded, and after several long moments of silence, everyone sighed in relief and went about their business.
"Headmistress probably ran out of cider again."
