Walking up to the door of the room, he could hear a cat moewing at some one and a voice on the other side of the door. Alfred, without a doubt, was still in the room. Ludwig looked around to make sure Italy was nearby before he knocked on the door.

"Alfred. This is Ludwig. I want to ask you a few questions that might make finding Mattie a little easier. Can I come in?"

Ludwig was oblivious of the dirty looks that England's cat was giving Feliciano. If he had noticed, he would have suspected this was the cat that had attacked the poor Italian... Then again, a part of Germany couldn't forget when a cat licked Italy's face and had called it "mutiny". Lord only knows what could have really happened between last night and today. Maybe he was just used to cranky kitties since his own seemed to bully around even the dogs that were almost half as tall as Ludwig, and that's why he didn't notice.

He listened closely to everything Alfred had to say. "Let me see if I understand what you know. Mattie was talking to Miss Katya, Ivan, and Francis today at lunch before he disappeared? Hmmm..." He closed his eyes and thought while speaking quietly. "Katya was in math class earlier, so he wouldn't be with her... I heard one teacher complain about Francis not being in their class, so that means he's skipping class... But so was Antonio apparently, so those two are probably out causing trouble with my brother since I know I saw Francis with Lili and another girl along with Arthur before I left with some documents to take to the front office..." With that, Ludwig opened his eyes ad looked up to Alfred. "This is probably a long shot, but I'll see if I can find Ivan. He may have an idea as to where Mattie might have gone. Don't worry, Alfred, Feliciano and I will hopefully find him soon. In the mean time, stay here and get some more rest. No offense, but you seemed a little moody today. You're probably jet lagged as well and don't realize it." The only reason Ludwig wasn't was because he'd been at the school almost a week before it was open. He had wanted to make sure everything was together for Disciplinary Committee and that he knew who would be where at what times of day.

The German sat the cat down on the floor as soon as he felt it shift. He had a feeling it was wanting down, and assumed he guessed right when Arthur came walking into the room. Knowing how most cats where, they tended to prefer being with their owners above being with a stranger. He brushed most of the cat hair from his school vest and looked up to Arthur.

Ludwig sighed softly at what Feliciano said. He really did wish he would stop saying he was going to fix things. There was only so much the German could do... "I'll try, Feliciano. There's no guarantee that I really have a lead as to where Mattie is." He then looked up to Arthur and tilted his head to the side. "Did you happen to hear any plans Francis had before you left lunch? His teachers were complaining he didn't show up after lunch, and Alfred said that Mattie had been talking to him and Ivan before he disappeared. I'm planning on seeing if Ivan is in class, but it doesn't hurt to know where I can find Francis, just in case." Still, it shouldn't be too hard to find Ivan. Not only was the guy very large in height, but he was also the president of the Gardening Club. No way he would miss out on the first day. If he wasn't in class, then surely he would be near the greenhouse.
