Although my roommate is on the city's pride committee, I don't really have any interest in attending parades, pride or otherwise. Just isn't my cup of tea.
Ours is more for families and clubs, anyway, and I'm not affiliated with any of the LGBT groups. *shrug*

i dont think they do pride parades in my area, and i would rather not drice all the way to a larger city to go to one at the moment. if i ever hear about one near me i would love to go though

I went to a pride festival in the beginning of the Summer with my best friend and her brother, it was so fun! My mom is taking her and I to the pride parade in P-town this August. I can't wait, I love them~

Phoenix Pride was my first legit parade this year in Arizona. It was radtastic! I'm going to go to all the parades I can next year.

We have the Reno Gay Pride coming up around the middle of August... I dunno if I can go, though. D: Not only do I not know my work schedule for when it happens, I don't really have any.. friends.. to go with. x///x; And I'm quite shy, so.... Arr.

My boyfriend and I went to the one in San Diego a few weekends ago! It was kind of hard to convince him to come with me (we're both straight), but he did it in the end. I got jealous though because he got hit on a bunch, and I didn't at all! DD: But I still had a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to the one next yr!
At the parade, a LGBT-owned tanning salon was advertised, and I checked it out. WOO, TANNING! The owner's so nice and knowledgeable, I keep going back, even though it's about 40 min. away. All well. They deserve my business more than most other places around here.

i don't have any pictures but there was this one protester guy walking around with bible verses on signs and whatever. this transwoman and him had an awesome conversation.
woman: "What does this bible verse say?"
idiot: "Well, among other things it says homosexuality-"
woman: "No. The bible never says among other things. What does it say exactly?"
idiot: "Among other things-"
woman: "Um, no. You're gonna come here and say I'm a sinner without even knowing what it means? When I was younger I knew I wanted a friggin dress and a barbie. For you to call me a sinner-"
idiot: "Well in proverb 69-"
woman: "69! I never knew Jesus did it THAT way!"
LATER
woman: "HEY DID YOU LOOK IN YOUR BIBLE YET? YOU'RE GONNA NEED IT!
man: "YOU'RE OUTNUMBERED......... BY THE WAY, IT'S SUMMERTIME. THOSE PANTS ARE NOT A GOOD IDEA!"
